what I mean by the tales of games are games like this one: Posted Image

I have played 2 "tales of" games. One of which is Tales of Graces^. I have played and finished the game last year. It is my favorite "tales of" game by the way. Right now I'm currently playing Tales of the Abyss and I haven't finished the game yet obviously .

  • Any Tales fan should know that Xillia 2 has the best story in the series, hands down.

  • That's simple.   Luke Fon Fabre's name means "Light of the Sacred Flame" Asch changed his name to distinguish himself from Luke, since he was no longer Luke Fon Fabre. The name Asch sounds like "Ash

Asbel Lhant, love the coat and I'm a sucker for characters with different colored eyes.

Asbel,I love his white coat, its so badass and when I saw Milla with it in Xillia 2 I was looking forward to unlock it,but unfortunatly its a japan exclusive for some reason.

I thought Martel from Symphonia's character design was really neat, so perhaps hers was my favorite.

My perfect waifu.

Milla. Must I say why?

^Same. There is no reason to ask why. It is just so obvious. xD

Hahahahahaha...

I love you, Milla. <3

Rock on!

I have to say that one of my favorite Tales characters in terms of appearance is Rowen from Tales Of Xillia!  He's quite the gentleman, and he pulls off amazing combat skills and jaw dropping artes in battle, all while retaining the elegant poise that elderly age gifts him!  He's a frickin badass! :D

Asbel!

As I've only finnished ToS DotNW, I'll go with Richter. However, Ratatosk and Lloyd were good too, hell even Marta! That game sure had good characters xD

Jade Curtiss is my top #1 character.

"Jade, why are your eyes red?"

"Simple. I drink human blood."

"Come now, the worst that can happen is we all die!"

"And my other goal is to make you youngsters crazy before I reach 40."

Jade is high on my list too.

But I think that Hubert, Pascal, and Alvin are right with him.

And I've only just started Zestiria, but I'm really liking Sorey and Mikleo, so we'll see how they evolve.

Both Ludger Kresnik and Lloyd Irving are great characters. I like them.

linked mystic arte: We all know that Tales of Xillia introduced the linking gameplay element in the tales series and that you can do linked artes when you use a certain arte when the gauge in the left hand corner gets filled, but here's my idea on how linked mystic artes could work if future tales games bring back the system. It should work the say way that linked artes work expect that you can only activate it if your linked artes gauge is filled all the way up and when you use a mystic arte when in overlimit.

foton circles from tales of the abyss: fonton cirles in tales of the abyss allowed the player to use upgraded arte of the original which gave the character you played as their own unique set of upgraded artes. This is what Tales of Xillia lacked, but the linked artes made up for it. I just think it would be cool to bring back this gameplay element in some form or another because of how unique it made the artes and the characters. They really don't have to bring the foton circles back, they can just bring back the gameplay element that changed the arcane arte into a more powerful arte, In my opinion, this with the linked mystic arte system from Tales of Xillia would make the gameplay REALLY and unique from previous tales games.   :)

(sorry for the double post I want people to see it)

Hey guys, I made this awesome photoshoped picture of Emil from the tales series! Check it out!

Great to know there's some degree of Tales fandom here. I have played and beaten Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, and am currently halfway through Xillia.

My favorite main Tales character thus far has been Yuri Lowell. He is able to keep a level head, but isn't perfeect at it, mostly when it comes to Flynn. Still, he isn't the type to let his emotions blind him. He's no prodigy like Jude, but he thinks things through. He really is a worthy leader for his team, in my opinion, compared to some of the other mains.

When I heard that tales of Zestiria is going to be like Graces f's battle system, I didn't get the game because I didn't like Fraces f's battle system. Now that tales of Berseria has the possibility of being like graces f and zestiria, I don't know what to think about the tales of series anymore. I can't play games that are like Tales of Graces f :(

But Tales of Zestiria is really good :( to be fair I haven't played Tales of Graces f (but I want to) so I can't really compare the two battle systems but k think the battle system in Tales of Zestiria is good

I honestly don't see how people like that game. I guess I don't like games that are hard to learn.

Maybe you just need to get used to it and then you'll like it.Graces gameplay is not THAT different then Xillia's gameplay really, the only major difference is the sidestepping dodges instead of the jump. All you do when playing a Tales game is mashing the X and O buttons to do artes, dodging enemies attack and making sure all your party members are alive,Graces is not that hard to learn especially if you're familiar with other Tales games and Zestiria is not hard to play either and its really fun so far
