I'm not mad at SE, i'm mad at the person who said that the trailer will come out. I don't really trust anything unless I have credible sources

Guys, D23 in Japan isn't even over yet. Calm down, it isn't Square's fault for creating the hype last night, it was the Twitter trolls, there was never an official confirmation for the trailer. Just w

No. I'm not mad at Square Enix. I'm just mad at the nut who made up that doggone rumor.

Lets not forget that

I'm sure it was frustrating to not get to see the trailer but think of it this way

  • In the end we'll get the game eventually ANYWAY - Plus it wasn't a complete dupe since we still got screenshots and some news so its not all that bad
  • The event was a paid event, if the trailer was going to be made available immediately after the event then many people probably wouldn't attend (or they would for the music event and catching a glimpse at the game makers or to watch the 'making of the game' videos or because they are hardcore KH fans).
  • The trailer probably represents a work in progress....think of how much more epic the final product will be?

I think some of us need to change our thought patterns from 'half empty' to 'half full'

....I share your frustration too BUT please don't lose sleep over it!! :)

Be patient. There will be new information streaming in the next few months; square enix wants to keep hyping up the game. if they show off too much too early they wont have anything good to show off later

Tell that kind of patience and upset amount of rage to a mob of Back to the Future fans who did not get a limited edition Pepsi Perfect. (To quote the Witch from Into the Woods "Oh, that's another story, never mind.")

They can have a good game at release while also giving people information prior. They're not mutually exclusive from one another.

Indeed but I felt that concept was too complex for this situation.I feel that everybody just needs to calm down

It's not about the trailer. They can show the trailer now but that doesn't mean it will change the things how they are.

SE/Disney are just bad at communicating with the fans. Other companies do a much better job, like Nintendo, Ubisoft or Naughty Dog. They know how to deliver development updates or to show new trailers. They use the Internet to its full potential without raising false expectations!

I will stay mad because I know that SE/Disney won't learn and that they will repeat it over and over.

Cause Disney won't let them release it yet.

This id nothing to do with Disney. If it was, Disney would have intervened. Remember D23 2013? That trailer dropped a day after its debut.

Square Enix are to blame for the lack of interacting with international fans and that's final.

Yeah go tell that to Sora96 then see what he thinks. xD

It is Disney's fault at this, not Square Enix.
