So I finally decided to order a 2.5 Collector's Edition off eBay for $230.00 when I got approved for a PayPal Credit Card. I sent the guy an email just to ask when he planned to ship since it's supposed to arrive by Saturday.

Nothing.

The next day (today) I read some reviews, and he has like 7 negative ones saying he doesn't ship the item not respond NOR return the money. I send another email to ask when he will ship, and let him know that I saw his reviews and if he doesn't send it, I'm going to get in touch with the authorities and file an appeal. Just so we're clear. Because he didn't reply to my email from last night.

Nothing.

The game is supposed to be here in less than a day and a half and he won't ship, respond to my emails, and basically stole 230 bucks from me. I know eBay has a money back policy but it's just, like I can't order another one for a week until filing a claim is eligible. Plus he might send it, but the odds don't seem good. Just, oh my god who can do that? Steal money on eBay multiple times and get away with it!?

Overall, I want my collector's edition. I am literally so mad right now

$230? That's a bit of a rip.

Not really though. Last time I checked, the collector edition was over 400 dollars.

I do a lot of online shopping for Kingdom Hearts (for things like Trinity Masterpieces, final mix titles) which requires that I look for Japanese sellers. Even with the import fees and shipping time, I don't have as much trouble as this guy is giving you. It's unnecessary for the seller to make shopping this difficult.

You should never buy anything from anyone on internet before you read what kind of reviews they've got, this kind of stuff isn't all that uncommon, sadly... :/ Sure this won't help you now, but be more careful next time? At least you'll get your money back...

It's not worth that much though.

It's really not, which sucks. I wish that back when it came out, I would've picked one up for $99.

Well it's Friday right now....I would hold out until tomorrow,  just to see if it comes. With Ebay, you can't always be quick to jump to conclusions...most of the time, the date given you for delivery is the estimated date of something coming, (assuming that no delays/ hold ups/ or shipping difficulties hinder it's path.)  Not responding to your question doesn't always mean you've been ripped off, could just mean that the seller is a really shitty communicator, to be honest. However, if it doesn't come tomorrow, and you STILL can't get in touch with them within the weekend, I would start becoming a bit concerned, and contact Ebay. If you suspect you've been ripped, look out for subtle changes, such as the store suddenly changing the arrival date to a significant amount of time, or more. (Two more weeks, a month, or longer). This has happened to me before, and is a HUGE red flag. Never got that package.

Good luck!

Keep us up to date on this as the event unravels, I personally want to know what happens, if you get your merchandise or not, how an appeal went if you didn't get it, etc.

And as someone said before, yeah, always always ALWAYS check reviews, stars, ratings, etc, when it comes to sellers.

That is some legal action that you can take right there.
