As explained in the video above the CREATOR of MGSV was not allowed to appear at the Game Award to celebrate his game winning an award because he was informed by a lawyer of Konami that he can not show up.  Needless to say everyone in the crowd was booing and rightfully so, and because of this stupid action by the shit known as Konami lots of hashtags that started trending on twitter are firetruckKonami, KonamiWeakSauce, EatADickKonami, and my favorite, firetruckKonami.  This is just the most disrespect that you can give to someone, someone who has been a part of your company for many years, practically became the reason for the success that you once and will never become again, to not let him go to an award show and accept said award for a game that he created and put so much heart and soul into.  Needless to say again, Konami is going to get blown up in the social media world.

The point here is that they will never have the same respect and love they once did, going to such lengths to disgrace one of the few names that even made them worth remembering to begin with. They may be financially successful, but their PR will never be as favorable. I honestly think SEGA has a better chance of winning the gaming world over than they do at this point.

I would be surprised if Japanese fans were so forgiving of them as well. Kojima is a Japanese developer, somewhere in that country he has inspired what could be thousands of the next generation of big name video game developers. If a similar outrage isn't coming from Japan, then I would be VERY perplexed.

Well...I think Kojima Hideo-san is a legend, and the reason why he can't come is most likely due to unpleasant legal dispute between himself and Konami. In times like these you have to blame the legal system (that and also because Konami is a big jerk!)
