Which Square Enix PS2 game would like released for emulation on PS4 most?

Square, Enix and Square Enix Japan games only. We won't be including Eidos here or Japanese-only titles. Nor are we including titles that have received HD remasters or are expected to receive one (Final Fantasy XII). Final Fantasy XI is about to be terminated on PS2 so can't include that either.

Never played any of the games listed but wow there are 2 Fullmetal Alchemist games on PS2? Didn't know about that. Are they any good?

3 actually, third one was exclusive to Japan though.

I'd rather have Dirge of Cerberus and Drakengard remastered!

You get upscaled graphics with this emulator, they look pretty good.

But otherwise, you aren't getting a Drakengard collection. Lol. You can enjoy your incest with upscaled graphics and trophies through emulation if you're lucky.

Dirge of Cerberus is up to Kitase.

I'm still crossing my fingers for Dragon Quest VIII but it seem unlikely at this point

I'm choosing the one game I really want to finish: Star Ocean 3.

I'd rather have Dirge of Cerberus and Drakengard remastered!

Drakengard would be neat. I'd definitely like to see what the two games were like. :)

Dirge of Cerberus. Cause if not Crisis Core, at least give me something.

None of them. DQVIII is the only one I'd be interested in, but the 3DS version's finally coming to the West, so I'm set with that.

Where FFXII at? Anyway, I'd like to have FFVII: DoC, even if it would much appreciated if Square Enix decided to release DoC and Crisis Core as a HD remaster like FFX and X-2.

the FMA games I love FMA!

I have the 2nd game its pretty fun it starts off in Lorie with the sun god stuff but quickly turns into its own plot

Is expecting to get a HD remaster.

My vote goes to FFVII Dirge of Cerberus.

We're expecting a HD remaster of XII. We aren't getting a HD remaster of Crisis Core, Tabata already ruled it out.

That's pretty stupid of Tabata especially considering that it's the prequel to the most popular Final Fantasy franchise. Heck, it already looks glorious on the PSP. Upscaling the quality and fixing the textures for PS4 would be an awesome additional package with the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Most popular FF franchise? Lol. I'll take X any day.

Tabata's reasoning was fair. Little demand. He'd rather remake but he's far too busy for that and given it took this much to remake VII, good luck with that.

I'll take X even if I have to ride on a steel cable, do flips, and crash a wedding to a psychopath.

AKA what Tidus does in X.

Mate, I said popular not favourable

Well, demand would be small if the opportunity was not presented in the first place. FF7 remake was demanded because of the PS3 tech demo. If Tabata was to open the possibility then I can guarantee you that there would be an over-whelming yes for a Crisis Crore remake/remaster.

Yes, and I stand by it. VII sold about 9.5 million after a 100 million dollar marketing budget and is rumoured to be one of the most returned games of all time.

FFX's marketing budget was nowhere near that and still sold 8 million with its sequel selling 6 million.

They also can't just go and remaster a PSP game because they want to. Remastering a PSP is definitely not easy, and Tabata just did one. He made it clear he had no interest in doing another one.

Ah the tech demo, funny story, it was made by Motomu Toriyama.
