As Lythero has noted on twitter

"Conker's a much beloved property that has a huge following. So we decided to continue to shit all over it."

Wait! What?!

H-How could they do such a thing...

It's a neat tech idea, but a misuse of Conker, I think.

Yet again, yup.

Some people actually thought this was gonna be a prequel to Bad Fur Day, man were they wrong. This is nasty!

oh

oh no

What I dislike is that they're using Conker to promote a new gaming device that may or may not fly on its own.

The technology is unique and all of that, but they really should leave Conker out of it (and whatever they do, they should *not* redesign him!  I loved Conker the way he was. :( )

Conker never had a chance to be relevant again. not with devs like this at the helm.

This just reminds me of this

I can't wait to see his reaction to this one as well.

Wow people are just reacting just like Spyro oh the irony.

It's not really ironic. Plus you can't necessarily compare Conker and Spyro as Spyro was always meant for a family experience. Conker has always been for a more mature audience. If I remember correctly, Conker was Rare and Nintendo's first M Rated title. This is a much expected thing to come from Microsoft, as they crushed hopes and dreams with Conker when they announced that DLC for that one game which name is easily forgettable because no one cared about it either.
