some of these are jokes but most aren't but still i'm surprised no one has said anything. i'll go from the more plausible ones first.

1. the Hunchback of Notre Dame (since Roy worked on this one too)

2. Meet The Robinsons

3. John carter

4. ratatouille (i'm thinking more of a minigame world that is episodic like atlantica but....good)

5. Narnia

(these are the joke ones)

6. bridge to terabithia

7. inspector gadget

most of these feel like joke suggestions, actually.

John Carter and Narnia would just be weird. John Carter because it bombed and i doubt Disney would want to bring it up again and Narnia because it's an established franchise already. plus i think that series, in terms of its cinematic endeavors, is dead.

1. Already did that in Dream Drop Distance, there would be no point since it would essentially be the same story, and the sequel isn't interesting or actiony enough to do either.

2. Meet the Robinsons could have some potential, but it really depends on how they do it. I mean, any more time travel based worlds like Timeless River and they're going to need to start elaborating much more on the rules of time travel, unless they keep it confined to just Todayland.

3. John Carter was....okay, but I don't think it's environment and atmosphere would be fitting enough for KH3's engine, I mean it would just mostly be red rock everywhere.

4. Ratatouille.....it really all depends on what they do with it. I have no doubt that the KH team can make anything they want to try work, but Rataouille would be a little difficult to figure out since the main conflict of the story is trying to win over a food critic. But then again, people are trying to make cases for Toy Story to be included, so I guess it would be hypocritical of me to say that this sort of concept wouldn't have at least some chance.

5. Narnia....I don't know, if they want to that's fine, but I don't think it would be a huge loss if we never see it in KH.

I know these are jokes, but still

6. Hahaha, Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

7. For one thing, which movie are we talking about, because both act as if the other never happened. And also I would argue against it for the same reason I am skeptical about the idea of particular Marvel movies getting in, the setting is just too contemporary and average.

The main reason nobody has talked about these is because I believe most agree that among Disney's vast library of movies to pick from these ones probably have the least amount of chance happening. Or in other cases, some ideas, like Toy Story and Star Wars, are just more exciting to talk about. I'd say among those the only ones that would have at least some kind of chance would be either Meet The Robinsons or Ratatouille, at least from my opinion.

The first one was in KH3D and maybe it could come back. Don't expect it to. The second one could be an option and make it in. Number 4 does not have an antagonist you actually fight one on one like most movies do (unless they have a heartless that is made out of Skinner's darkness and put that in). Everything else did moderately well to not so good in reviews and box office.

1. Yes because that was my favorite world in Dream Drop Distance I would love for it to come back in KH3.

2. Sure why not it could work.

3.  No

4. Yeah that could work as well being little mice would be cool.

Everything else is basically no I don't think they could work.

probably the first one but honestly it doesn't matter.

the Hunchback could make a return but it could have its own story like Big hero 6 is (actually a lot of worlds could) and since its not sleeping anymore and Roy has only done 4 movies i don't see why this couldn't happen. i thought john cater was...ok and 70-80% of disney's movies were books at some point so what makes Narnia so different(i was thinking about only the first one BTW). i was thinking for the Robinsons, IF there was multiple characters in KH3, sora could handle the future and riku the past...maybe, if not then i think that it should be just in the future. also the graphics effects that could be used would look amazing.  for ratatouille i have a few ideas but i don't know if they would work yet.

Hunchback was in DDD to an degree, but a Sleeping World. Hunchback 2...uhm...stinks...so I doubt it'd be dragged up for a contiuation.

I'd like to see John Carter, though, but I'm not holding my breath (I'm literally the only person I know who likes that movie).

One I'd like to see in KH someday is The Great Mouse Detective: that movie gets no love what so ever.

probably the first one but honestly it doesn't matter.

I really wouldn't see any more point with Hunchback though. They covered most of what everyone wants to see already, there would be no point in adding more As much as I like it I'd rather not see a million versions of the same story like they've done with Aladdin, it'll just feel redundant. Plus everything is solved in that world already and it has been returned to the Realm of Light, there is no real other conflict you could focus on and to try and make anything up now would be awkward. Big Hero 6 works better in terms of the new story scenario because it's more recent and relevant, and with a TV show on the horizon there's probably already a bunch of ideas that they want to play around with. There's so much more potential with that world, but I feel as though we've gotten all we really need from Hunchback.

Just because something is made from a book originally doesn't mean it works the same as every other Disney movie put in KH. Ultimately it's the team that decides what will work, but given the pattern and history of the games there seem to be more common traits that they all share. For one thing they all have interesting looking environments, and while John Carter is decent as far as a journey to Mars movie goes it doesn't have a whole lot going for it visuals wise beyond red rocky canyons, some pointy metal ships, and a rustic looking alien colony. It's an okay movie, but from my perspective it doesn't have a whole lot of curious imagery to justify an inclusion in KH3.

Narnia, again, will depend on if they really want to do that or not. I can understand reasons for not wanting to do it, in that it's whole overarching story would be difficult to factor into for KH if they aren't sure if they want to bring it back every KH game or so. But there certainly is plenty of interesting imagery, story, and characters to make it feel like at least an exciting adventure, and heroes vs witches never seems to fail in KH, so it wouldn't exactly be a bizarre choice either. I wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't make it in, but I wouldn't be disappointed if it did either. It's really down to the KH team this time around.

And I would basically say the same thing about Ratatouille. If Toy Story has a fair shot then I don't see why not, but I just have no idea how it would work.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame has been used in 3D but it basically just followed the film's storyline and neither final battle was with Frollo himself.

I believe KHIII could be more original with it and more elaborately develop Frollo which I'd love to see happen. I've brought this up already in the underrated/forgotten films thread.

Bridge to Terabithia and Chronicles of Narnia, correct me if I'm wrong are not exclusively owned by Disney as they are collaborated productions with Walden Media. So I'm unsure if those properties are within SE's reach.

I'd love to have BTT though. An imaginary world would be more susceptible than any to corruption by darkness.

I'm not sure how Ratatouille would fit except possibly as a mini-game world.

John Carter, was a heavily unsuccessful film in the US. The Lorax had it beat in the box office within two days and Disney in fact, lost $84 million which attributed to a $161 million dollar deterioration of their Studio Entertainment division's operating income "Primarily" as a result of this film's poor performance.

For this reason, the production of its second installment, as it was originally intended to be a trilogy, was postponed and then eclipsed by Finding Dory. The writers and lead actors are interested in making John Carter 2 happen but it doesn't seem like the possibility has gotten any stronger at this point.

Note: the preceding information was gathered from Wikipedia so should be taken with a grain of salt as they are not always the most trustworthy source.

Make no mistake, this is allegedly fact NOT an opinion. I don't have a right to an opinion because I saw the film once and pretty much have no memory of it, I respect that. Ergo, you don't see me judging it plotwise right? Hell, I couldn't even attempt to!

All I mean to point out is that an unsuccessful film isn't a likely KH candidate.

I actually really liked John Carter, which may be partly attributed to some level pf denial because of Andrew Stanton's Pixar background, but in any case it was just fine to me. The timing worked against it, though.

In general, I like the ideas for 1-4. And maybe Terabithia if they got it right(omitting all the "real life" stuff), but I think Walden Media is/wad the rights holder to that and Narnia. And they are still trying to get The Silver Chair off the ground.

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame was already in KH3D, ya know!  As for Meet The Robinsons, God, I'd love to see that film be a world in Kingdom Hearts III! :D  I haven't watched John Carter completely, but from what I remember, it was pretty good!  Narnia's also badass, but I think Universal has the film rights, so I don't know if Narnia could be considered anymore!  And as for Ratatouille, I could definitely imagine that world as a mini-game world! :)

Damn, I remember Bridge To Terabithia!  It's a sad movie! :(

I never saw the Inspector Gadget movies, though. :O

thats probably a good thing xD

Wow, so they aren't that good, huh? :O

Narnia's rights I believe are with Walden Media, and have always been. They've just been looking for studio backing ever since their deal with Disney ended.

On that note, Silver Chairs script is almost finalized. Here's hoping that the film gets greenlit.

Ah, I see...most interesting!

But can Square still use any of the existing Narnia films for Kingdom Hearts?  They're already Disney property, so maybe they could be used!  If this were the case, I'd love for Prince Caspian to be the story Nomura tackles in a future Kingdom Hearts game! :3

Not likely. Like with Tarzan, it doesn't seem like they can do anything new with the characters; just rerelease the previous films.

And I also like Prince Caspian.

All of them I won't to be in KH3. Narnia mayby. Most reason is that I don't know most of the movies.

Until now I know all the movies that has appeared in Kingdom Hearts.

I would also avoid animal movies a rat is mayby different. But would save it for a sidegame.

I would like to see Bolt as well. If not a world based on the TV show in the movie, then as a Summon.

And if Penny is in it, if they could get  Chole Grace Moretz to play her, it would be a real kick in the nuts to whoever decided to replace her with Miley Cyrus in the film.

Ah, I see.  Well, this sure does complicate things a bit, doesn't it? :O

But yeah, Prince Caspian is amazing.  I think it's easily one of the best Narnia films so far!  I just loved its dark tone, and well, I dunno, it's just a pretty badass movie, ya know? :3

Yeah. Some people questioned the necessity of the castle raid, and I guess I see their point, but it made for some great stealth scenes.
