I know right! Seriously they they're going to make this movie than what's next? Digimon? I hope they scrap this project and soon because I have a feeling this going to be another Dragonball Evolution and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Really it won't be that bad...

Seriously.

Isn't Kotaku one of those typically unreliable sites anyway though? Or am I thinking of something else?

Withhold judgement, can't just assume it'll be bad when we've seen nothing of it. Even if it is bad, who cares, it'll be interesting to see at least.

Well, some other sites actually talked about this as well. I was just kinda lazy in going back to the article about this news. I know about Kotaku and their shenanigans.

I don't think it will be too bad. If it's anything like the Origins special, it looks to be good.

Well Pokemon Origins were animated episodes about Pokemon Red/Blue.

True, but it was animated by a company different than their usual animation department (I believe, may be misinformed), which gives me hope that The Pokémon Company will know the perfect movie company to do their movie. Pokémon has a past with Disney, so they might contact them.

But are those sites reliable? Al lot of the time unreliable sights just pounce things off of each other so that it seems legit.

quick! We need to find a eternally ageless 10 year old for the lead role

I don't know about this... I love Pokemon, but I don't know about this. If one of my sisters knew, about this, I don't want to imagine her reaction.

Then again... Pokemon Go, is dealing with augmented reality in the real world. It's kinda like fantasy interacting with the real world. The Pokemon games from our past serves as a means to make this kind of thing possible. For our POV, reality (us) meets with fantasy (them). And plus the regions are based of parts of the real world.

Well, Hollywood better not screw this up.

IGN? You mean the site that used to be reliable but is now a joke because they took points away from OR/AS becuse it had "too much water"? I mean, thwy may be more reliable thst Kotaku, but still. I'd feel better if Siliconera or somthign had reported it. Even that trailer doesn't mean anything, remember Poképocalypse?

Well, you see, I dunno. I guess it could be cool, but I'm still a little skeptical about it. :/

Look, I'm not a super demanding guy. In fact, I'd be completely fine with even just a picture of super-duper realistic Pokemon (or Digimon).

I don't know if I can believe any of this noise. Someone's trying to do a Sonic movie, now a Pokemon realistic movie? What's next, a Legend of Zelda movie?

Wait a minute... That would actually be not such a bad idea maybe. :D

Rock on!

As long as it's not directed by M.Night Shyamalan,Zac Snyder,Micheal Bay or the guy behind DB Evolution then it might have a chance

This one's a reliable source. It also mentions that this is just a rumor, though.

So first Dragonball, then Avatar, and now Pokemon's getting the live action treatment?  Eeeghh, I dunno about this!  Evolution and The Last Airbender weren't exactly jaw dropping live action renditions of their cartoon counterparts, so yeah, not sure how Pokemon would succeed!  But hey, I could be proven wrong! We'll see what happens! :)
