a handleheld/console hybrid of course. It would be awesome to play games like zelda NX on a possible handheld version of the NX

I really don't care, just don't do anything idiotic and give me an actual current gen console, I wouldn't even care if there's a experimental gimmick, just make something on par with the PS4 or at the least, XOne

I hope its a Console/handheld hybrid that allows you to play 3DS games on console and I hope its a simple powerful system

A vacuum cleaner! It has potential! X3. In all seriousness, I'd like it simple.

I think it'd be best if it was a simple system like the PS4 and Xbox One, but I won't be mad if it's got a gimmick. I just don't like the console/handheld hybrid idea at all, I don't think it would be the best direction for it to take.

The first option. Enough with the gimmicks or at least keep it simple with OPTIONAL gimmicks.

don't really care actually, whatever they have in mind, whatever they want to come up with.

truth be told, while some of their choices didn't appeal to everyone, nintendo always tried "new" or at least different things and actually tried to keep them up.

kee trying.

if there are some good video games, that's all that matters. really~

I for myself found the graphics of the wiiU more than ok. again as long as the games are enjoyable^^

To be honest, I don't care much for the NX, but only because I don't know anything about it, ya know?  The only thing I know is that it'll be the next console from Nintendo, and that it'll apparently compete closer to the PS4 and XBox One, but that's pretty much it!  I've played more Nintendo handheld consoles than their home consoles, since the only one I own is the original Wii, ya know?  But if Nintendo explains what the NX is and what it can do, and if it goes on to the point that it makes me want to buy it, then sure, I'll buy it!  But for now, I'm not really interested, ya know?

I want the NX to be the opposite of what the rumors are painting it as. Not this super-console, but something else. In the end, the only ones who know are the higher ups at Nintendo.

I think Wii U had potentials, but the line up wasn't very convincing at least for me that is :/ Lacks 3rd party developer, imo. My Wii U collecting dust since it launch lol I played wind waker.

Literally everything you listed as an option is my vote. Yes even the vacuum cleaner. ESPECIALLY the vacuum cleaner. O3O

But in all seriousness, probably something that is powerful like it's rivals, an experimental concept like the Wii, Wii U, DS, and 3DS, a sort of Mobile/Portable/Console hybrid, maybe some actually good VR, and whatever else Nintendo want's to do with it. I may always pick Sony first, but I really do love Nintendo, they're really the reason we are able to have so many great games today, whether they use an A button or a Square button. So I am always going to wish for the best with them, so it would really be cool if they revolutionized the gaming world again and made something that will really push them ahead again. If nothing else, accomplishing that will push Sony and Microsoft to replicate and improve the same things, which will give us even more options and fun games to play with. So, as I wish with everyone (sigh...yes, even Microsoft...when they AREN'T at their lowest anyway...), I hope Nintendo brings it's best with the NX and more importantly advertises it much better like they did with the Gamecube, Wii, DS, and even the 3DS by comparison.

But whatever it is, it better have a vacuum. Like think about it! Something that cleans up the dust it's already gathering because of it's cooling fans! That's practical! O3O

Anything that isn't a gimmick, the reason i never bought a Wii or a Wii U is that the entire console is just a gimmick, when i play games i don't want to swing my arms around or use an huge ass Ipad as an control i just want a normal control and normal console so if the NX is normal like the PS4 and X1 i'll buy it

One thing I would like to say about Nintendo, they can't simply make a console as powerful as a PS4, they need the gimmicks, because it's the only way they can actually compete with the other companies. If they make something similar to a PS4/X Box One that's the ruin of the NX because it needs more than that to sell.

they ought to just make a regular console without gimmicks. see how that goes. i mean it looks like it's working out pretty well for Sony and Microsoft.

i get that Nintendo likes to innovate and that's fine, but at this point it's like they're innovating for the sake of innovation.

i feel like the games that were successful on the Wii U could have easily been released on a system with a normal controller.

I'd like a handheld/home console hybrid, personally, but I don't think it'll happen, since that would still leave a home console that's behind the competitors. If they want to stay current, they need to make a normal console with the same quality of games library.
