Just as the title says. Besides The World That Never Was, what kind of secret lair do you think Xehanort should have in Kingdom Hearts III? I was thinking a giant castle in the Keyblade Graveyard surrounded by a stronghold, which could be created at Xehanort's command, and patroled by powerful Heartless and Nobodies (not very secret for a lair, but knowing Sora I wouldn't count on him finding it anytime soon.) While the remaining 7 lights are preparing for the final battle, Sora, Donald and Goofy get to the Keyblade Graveyard, and must fight through the stronghold, eventually getting to the giant castle. Then they would have to fight their way through it to get to Xehanort's ultimate threshold; the only save point before the threshold entrance would have to be the CASTLE entrance, meaning if players die even close to the threshold save point-VLOOP-it's back to the entrance they go. Once in the throne room, Sora and the others confront Xehanort, who gives Sora a final chance to give up his heart for a piece of Xehanort's, only for Sora to refuse and for he and Donald and Goofy to say, in a monologue, why Sora can't accept Xehanort's heart, despite the lives on the line. Angered by this, Xehanort is left with no choice but to simply dispose of Sora (should at least 3 or more Seekers of Darkness die beforehand). There is then a 1-on-1 battle between Sora and Xehanort on the outer top layers of the castle, and eventually the top itself. The battle seems over, but-

...Well, I'll get to that another time, as well as the other characters who come here and when they visit the castle. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions on which characters (besides SDG) should visit this place and which of the 13 Seekers they should go up against, even the most unlikely of battles between the two factions.

Does he seriously need a lair? The dude is trying to manufacture the apocalypse, I don't think he's going to have much lounging time.

Well, still, I feel like he needs a proper base of operations BEFORE starting the apocalypse, hence my post. After all, where do you expect him to sit and think, sitting on a rock and just giving his young self orders to his face? Plus, I'm thinking Xemnas's division of the 13 Seekers could be in TWTNW.

I just edited my quote not that long ago. You wanna read it so you can see my point? The CTNW is cool, but not as cool as somewhere in the middle of the Keyblade Graveyard.

Avengers tower. Because Why not?

I'm not sure if he'll even have a lair. Well, besides the CTNW.

Sadly, since two worlds can't know each other at once, that would have to be at an AVENGERS WORLD YA GREAT DOPE. I mean, come on, it's not like xehanort can just take something from another world and call it a lair. I wanna think of something ORIGINAL, and what better place for a lair than the Keyblade Graveyard, where Xehanort can just pull towers and stuff out of nowhere as if he's opening a cabinet.

Xehanort has a thug life indeed

Probably at the keyblade graveyard again considering his love for the keyblade war. Or maybe he should go to ROD and make his lair there and then Aqua would stumble upon it.

That's not a rule. The cast of The Little Mermaid knows that Sora, Donald and Goofy don't come from their world.Besides, I don't think villains care to much about the whole meddling thing.Back to the topic, I think Xehanort would just reside at the Keyblade Graveyard. No lair, no castle, nothing. He doesn't need it anyway, since he's just gonna destroy it once he opens Kingdom Hearts.

I don't care if either Xehanort destroys it by opening Kingdom Hearts or if Sora destroys by "killing" Xehanort. And I know that none of the villains really care about meddling in other worlds' affairs anyways. I just don't think Xehanort should go through the trouble of meddling in other worlds himself, and the Keyblade Graveyard alone doesn't seem like much of a lair to me. Again, I know it'll get destroyed by Xehanort if not Sora, but still, he can't just sit on a rock and plan his plans. And yes, I'm perfectly aware that the Atlantica cast knows about other worlds, but did they travel to any?...Exactly.

Not like Thor or any of the other Avengers would be able to go to other worlds either.Besides, what does Xehanort need to plan for anymore? He knows what the wielders of light are up to, he knows what he's going to do already. He has all his pieces on the board and ready to go, he's just waiting for Mickey and Yen Sid to make their move.

Lair? no.  A giant Throne made up of many of the lifeless, discarded keblades that make up the Keyblade Graveyard?  yes please

They might return to Castle Oblivion.

Nah that would be too intense :).

Well, even then, he might not be entirely prepared for the Guardians of Light, and that he might need some kind of defense in case they take him by surprise. Otherwise, the only conflicts that would truly happen are the 7 and the 13 (unless those stupid tornado things wanna start something.).

As we know in DDD, Xehanort and his vessels are chilling in the CTNW. But...wouldn't it be awesome if somewhere in the Keyblade Graveyard are the remains of the Daybreak Town Castle exist and that would be there base of operations? Just a random idea, plus it would go along with his "chilling" at the Keyblade Graveyard in BbS.

Secret lair? Uh no. His "lair" is The World That Never Was. That's it. The Keyblade Graveyard is where the seven and thirteen will fight.

Honestly, I'm just thinking that this final battle will be in the Keyblade Graveyard, like when Xehanort and Vanitas battled Terra, Ventus and Aqua, ya know? There might be a fortress or something, but I doubt it.  If there were to be anything resembling a fortress, it could be the ruins of one of the big buildings of Daybreak Town, if we're going with the theory that the Keyblade Graveyard is actually what's left of Daybreak Town!  But yeah, the final battle will take place in the battlefield, no doubt!

As for which match-ups, I think it'll be Lea vs. Isa, Riku vs. Ansem or Young Xehanort, and well, I actually don't know about the rest! It could be that the lights band together on each Seeker, or their battles will be one on one!  I really don't know! :O
