Have you ever wondered why it rains in the worst possible moment?  Does it ever feel like someone is watching you?  Why are you really so scared of the dark, when there is almost always nothing there?

 

The truth is, there are explanations to all of these things, only we as humans lack the knowledge of them.

 

Far above us in the medieval era dwells a kingdom--no, a world--filled with whimsy, fantasy and phenomena of your wildest dreams.  The world dwells above the clouds, filled with rich stone walls, cobblestone homes, water fountains aplenty, and the palaces whose splendor rivals even that of the great King Alderon down below in the human world.  This world is beautiful, massive, and rich.

 

But who could live in this world, you are probably asking yourself, if this happened long, long ago back in the age of medieval living?  If there are no planes, how could people reach this magnificent place?  And if humans did not know of this world, then what could possibly live there?  There is only one simple explanation, and that explanation is the very reality of what lives there: fey.

 

Fey, all sorts of fey.  Predominately fairies, though they are not your average fairy that you read about in a bedtime story.  They are in every sense of the word human, only they are gifted with three things that the mere human does not possess: magic, immortality, and flight.  The range of fey that dwell in the Overworld vary, from fairies, imps, minotaurs, eidolons, vampires, and just about any mythical race.  While it would seem they have a paradise, it may be surprising that they desire something much, much more, more expansive such as the world below.

 

Which has brought them into the disaster that has befallen them today.

 

A young fey, perhaps three hundred years old, ventured into the forbidden world below, sneaking past security with his two friends.  He met many humans, many curious, some kind, and others . . . more power-thirsty than anything.  A dreadful fate befell the three friends: one had been kept by the human King Alderon for his own dark experimental purposes, another died while trying to save him, and the last made it home, but was punished so severely he'd wished that he'd died.  While the majority of the underworld do not know of the existence of the Fey kingdom, King Alderon does, and he's attempting to reign supreme over all the kingdoms of his world.  In doing so he plans to use the one weapon he doesn't have and is known as a forgotten art: magic.  Yes, magic existed within these young fey, and he would stop at nothing to obtain these magics for his own purposes, even if it meant draining the poor fey dry of their magic, killing them in the process of transferring this magic into their own warriors.

 

You have a choice: to be human, or be a member of the mythical race of the Overworld preparing for the greatest of wars between worlds.  If you are a human you wouldn't know anything about fey, unless you serve directly under King Alderon and know of his plans.  If you are of the Overworld you have never been to the main world, but rather have only heard stories and probably yearn to see what it is like.  Travel between the worlds is forbidden for fey, to prevent the very tragedy that the young boy had created.  You may choose most any race for an Overworld dweller, though if I feel it isn't a good fit or is over-powered I may decline the race.

 

The rules consist of:

 

1.) No god-modding.

2.) No auto-hitting or mass slaughter.  This means if you are battling someone don't make your hit automatically meet its target, but rather have it aimed at a player and they choose whether the attack hits or misses.  No mass slaughter means don't kill off a bunch of NPCs without permission.

3.) Go with the plot, and please choose a character that fits well with the world and setting.

4.) Original characters only.  If you would like to use a canon character please modify them until they are your own creation, and rather inspired by a canon character.

5.) When in a group of other people, please post after everyone in your group has posted.  I don't want anyone to fall too far behind.

6.) Keep everything PG-13, please.

7.) Romance is permitted, but again please remember rating restrictions.

8.) Please don't have invincible characters.  While you get to choose whether your character is hit by an attack, don't make them avoid everything or else it seems like god-modding.

9.) Don't be over-powered.

10.) All KH13 rules apply.

11.) This is going to be a heavy world-building roleplay, that will rely heavily on plot and character interaction.  I intend to keep this roleplay going for a considerable length of time, though it may not be entirely fast to update.  Having said that, please try to post at least once every two weeks, but if you are going to be away please let me know and we will make arrangements for your characters.  Should you remain absent for an extended length of time, I reserve the right to utilize your characters as I deem fit for the RP's progression.

1) Hm, it's a bit hard to say what will happen to each group after their events are finished & when they will finish. But if I were to look at it through my vision I'd say Jynn & Alicia might head back to the bar where Jynn left Yev & Rabs to retrieve them both after the talk with Raiden if nothing happens right before heading back to his home for Elia, Aqua, Rufus, Bherna & the missing Baxter. I'm not sure what will happen with Baxter, Yev & Rabs in the bar though as things there could go in alot of directions like,.Yev & Rabs might end up killing or restraining Baxter, or Rabs might try using the wishing lamp in a split sec thought for whatever reason, or Yev might even try going after the wishing lamp himself when Rabs drops her guard around him, Rabs suddenly falls in love with Yev & they escape together using Rabs wish to live forever in love & happiness... haha just joking with that one. But heck they might all end up being captured by Mystras guards for all the commotion their causing in the bar haha & the fight with Jimba is far from done since hardly anyone has gotten the chance to fully immerse themselves into the fight, but that might be partly my fault for delaying his posts so that SB can catch up & create a post for Aqua. But that fight is about to get really group catching & intense in my next post for him haha .

Rabs' spell was simply dubbed "The Harrowing" following a certain incident when she was reaching 50 years, an assassination attempt by the nobles of Asura's court, if you will. The effects are a lot like Tales of's Judgement arte.

I love tales of games! although Tales of Xillia 1 & 2 are my top fav, currently playing tales of Berseria. I love magilou! her personality is the best. Also Rokurou is awesome as! haha

Please edit your post.  Yevgeni's light attacks did not cause fire to the tavern.  I didn't elaborate upon their ability to catch things on fire, nor was that my intention, and thus you are changing my attacks and determining what they do.  These beams of light work more in essence like lasers, where they sever things clean but do not catch on fire.  Please do not assume what others' attacks will do unless the other person indicates that this was a possibility, as this in essence was god-modding.

I would like to follow up with the fact that prisoners AND guards were gobbled up in greedy fashion and nobody would know of it, plus the knight in red and Midnea are contemplating further mass murder?  I think not.  Midnea officially signed her death warrant, and this is enough stalling the plot with your characters for now.

As for the stalling situation: I did not say that your characters are not at fault.  In fact I said you were.  I said that you weren't the sole one responsible, but I didn't deny the fact that there were problems that you started.  I PM'd you with these problems and asked you to correct them in the future, and while it wasn't entirely your fault there were still issues that no one had a hand in but yourself.  You explained how everything went about and you weren't wholly responsible, which I agreed to and shared the blame.  We have resolved the issues and they are now in the past, but I really didn't want to see this continue on in the future.  I don't know what your plans are on this front, but it does seem to hold the potential to happen again.

I was more meaning my good guys ain't much to fault for their stalling but we already talked over this & I promised that this wouldn't become a problem in the future for them apart from villains being villains of course, but even the villains we've already planned their attacks out. So getting past this, the knight in red eating the prisoners was 1 of the ideas I told you in our PM talks, you must have overlooked it or forgotten of it. But since you didn't say anything about it in our PM talks it gave me the impression it was fine to use the idea & making it an unseen event in the shadows to which is why their was no reveal of the knight actually eating them in the RP as it also would've spoiled what he is to everyone else before he even confronted any heroes. I do regret forgetting to describe that it was a minor prison cell block that he was in to which I'm sorry for, but you should've known & have trusted me that I wasn't going for in anyways total mass killing with him as I knew it was against the rules to do so & something that could've been seen as major. So please don't jump to that conclusion at first sight & I'm sorry again that I gave you guys the impression that he was mass killing & if I were to give a number on his kills within the prison block right now, I'd say it's what you said Mystic, that being 1 guard & 3 prisoners okay.

I didn't know that you were referring to your good characters.  I don't think anyone was ever referring to your good characters stalling anything to begin with, so that really didn't come to mind at the time.  I know that we've already discussed this, so there really isn't any reason to go into it again.  I just felt the need to correct the situation on here so there wasn't confusion on what I actually said.

 

I checked the PM again, and it was briefly discussed that Knight in Red would eat prisoners.  I think we were so fixated on the problem of the Punishers and Midnea that I overlooked this and wasn't really concerned with it at the time.  I know what is going to happen once he eats these prisoners thanks to the PM, and I also understand that this is in his nature, but I am wondering what end he hopes to accomplish in doing so.  If you could share this I would be interested (either PM or here is fine).

 

I didn't mean to accuse you, but this isn't the first time that we have encountered this issue with mass slaughter (i.e. Tainted Blood and Plutia).  Thank you for clarifying and I truly am sorry if I made you feel bad.  I just . . . really want things to run smoothly for everyone, and I feel with your characters' actions and agendas this has not always been the case.  A few eatings is fine so long as the killings were at a minimum and they aren't vital (and they don't accomplish the impossible without getting caught--not that this was the case, but rather in the future).

 

As for discussing your villain's actions: we have discussed Pracia, which is good; all of that is fine to continue.  Midnea is fine so long as things don't drastically alter the existing plot with the other nations and the war that is slowly beginning to brew.  We discussed Midnea sort of instilling hatred in Alderon for the fey and instigating the war, which is fine still, may I add.  I would like to know, however, if Midnea is going to take main assaults herself or use any mass armies to change things for players or the Overworld massively.  Not that you have this planned, but I wanted to make mention of this beforehand just in case.  We also have discussed the Punishers not coming out again until these two are destroyed.  That is good, but before more come please make sure to discuss it with me so that we can time it well and with certain character groups that can handle taking on a fight without impediment.

 

That's fine if the Knight in Red attacks Jynn and his party; I think we can work with that.  That shouldn't cause any problems.
