Posted July 17, 20169 yr One thing that is in the main numbered titles but often forgotten (as it doesn't have much involvement in the worlds or story) is Gummi combat to unlock new worlds. How does everyone think Gummi combat will evolve for KHIII?
July 17, 20169 yr Honestly, i have a feeling that we wont be using the ship this time. I don't know what it turn into, but i have this itching feeling that it won't be the ship this time.
July 17, 20169 yr I hope we have more control during it instead of it being a poor man's starfox. Having more exploration could make it into a pretty interesting minigame. Honestly, i have a feeling that we wont be using the ship this time. I don't know what it turn into, but i have this itching feeling that it won't be the ship this time. iirc there was some job thing posted last year that mentioned gummi ship missions. I believe it was the same one that leaked 2.8 (or as it was referred to then, 2.9).
July 17, 20169 yr If any multiplayer will be implemented in KH3, I'd say it'd most likely be Gummi ship. I mean, that report we got earlier last year that had 2.8 revealed, said multiplayer and gummi ship mechanics for KH3, so you never know. I think of it as a free exploring mode where you can freely move the gummi ship anywhere on a large map (like Star Fox). Once you defeat a certain amount of enemies, a final boss starts up. Finishing the boss completes the mission, where then you see a little cinematic of the characters ships heading towards the new world that you gained access to. For the first time though, you can see the characters inside the ships, and can interact during gameplay like in 0.2. Multiplayer can have co-op missions where you must work with other players to take down enemies/bosses together. Of course, challenges like from Kh1 and Kh2 might show back up as well, so Edited July 17, 20169 yr by Moochieh32
July 17, 20169 yr Well...seeing as Star wars was bought over by Disney.... If Star Wars does end up in the series I'd imagine Gummi ship battles would be quite interesting
July 17, 20169 yr I hope improving they improve the building part. The only thing I never liked about KH2 is building your own gummiship felt a lot more restrictive than KH1.
July 18, 20169 yr I still think it'll be similar to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.Maybe, though I feel like that'll only happen during Lane levels, and that the world map will function similarly to KH2.
July 18, 20169 yr i loved the kh2 gummi ship game play. if they can mix it up a bit and make it better thats awesome. im up for it if not i dont mind it being the same as kh2.
