So I've got an idea for a new KH game that would be titled Kingdom Hearts Coded Memories. The story would focus on Sora while he's sleeping between CoM and KH2. As he is sleeping and slowly trying to regain his memories you would be playing as a dream version of Sora traveling through his past. You would begin at Destiny Islands and then move through all the other worlds of KH1 with slight alterations to their original stories from KH1 to make this experience new and exciting! (Except from Deep Jungle)

As you come to an end of Sora's journey in KH1 you move over to start dreaming about the events that unfolded in CoM. You'll revisit the worlds you went through in that game (which more or less are the same worlds as the ones from KH1) but as the memories of Castle Oblivion slowly fades away everything about that incident is miss-remembered and you'll play through a altered version of CoM. You know, to make the story new and exciting! You wouldn't wanna end up buying a "new" game which just turns out to be an already existing game with minor alterations to it would you?

Once you've gone through the events of CoM all of Sora's memories are finally almost put back together. As Sora is nearing completion DiZ begins to decode Sora's heart and place hidden secrets within the boy. During this process something goes terrible wrong and Sora's heart becomes corrupted. As a result Sora's consciousnesses begins drift both backwards and forwards in time until it accidentally collides with the events of Coded. The corrupted Sora is getting visions of what transpires in Coded and senses that the problems dealt with there are similar to the ones he is facing now. He's only option is to go through the events of Coded to decode himself. Sora travels through the worlds of Coded (which mainly are half of the worlds from KH1 plus a quick replay of CoM at the end) and manages to decode himself.

Sora is now at 99% and is very close to waking up, only one thing stands in his way, Roxas. Dream Sora senses a resisting Roxas and there is a symbolic duel between heart and body. Sora wins of course and the final scenes are of Sora waking up at the beginning of KH2.

Not sure if it's a joke or not, but I don't want to play through another slightly altered KH1.

Chain of Memories was practically the first KH set in Castle Oblivion instead of the actual worlds and an introduction of more lore.

That's exactly what we did with CoM. Andrecodded

.............................. joke or not, that actually sounds workable into a decent enough spin off, with twisted versions of the worlds from faulty memories, and Sora struggling to remember the past, with Data-Org. 13 trying to screw things up.
