- Helios - Front Flank - Side: Kilkis Seres - VS Soren -

You know the pain you feel when you eat a cheese pizza that is way too hot and the sizzling hot cheese burns your mouth? That's what Helios felt at this moment as Soren released his hellfire flames into his mouth. Helios roared in pain, quickly jumping back, getting off him, leaving his claw marks behind on his armor. He shook around wildly, wagging his tail as he shook his tail uncomfortably. "Ow, OW!" Helios roared, a puff of smoke suddenly covering him as he temporarily transformed back into his mortal form. As he appeared in his small Fey status before Soren, he had his tongue out, waving frantically at it as another hand held his throat. Holy crap it burned. That was something he definitely did not want to experience any time soon. He glared at Soren, bearing his teeth. "Are you insane?!" He hissed, reaching into his satchel as he backed away from Soren, seeking time and space. He pulled out a potion, quickly taking a sip of it for it to soothe his burning throat and mouth. He had to keep himself from drinking the whole thing. He had to make it count. He wiped the liquid from the edge of his lips, his eyes glaring at Soren. "Agility won't work if he keeps slamming me like a mammoth. That fire, too." Helios murmured, shaking his head. "I don't want to kill you or your men! Just, please step down and stay out of my way!" Helios yelled, hissing at Soren. "(Got to give this guy a chase.)" Helios thought, suddenly dashing straight at Soren. Midway in his sprint, smoke escaped his lips, covering him once more. A few seconds later, from the smoke something came rolling right out, at high speeds, directly at Soren. It rolled past Soren, only coming to a stop a few feet behind him before uncurling, leaving a trail of dust behind. Helios was now was a Basilisk, of white scales and blue horns. He was much bigger than when he was a Manticore. Able to curl up and roll into enemies, pancaking them if they weren't careful enough. A tank for a tank. Helios huffed, before curling up and rolling straight up to Soren once more.

- Morana - Center Flank - Side: Kilkis Seres - VS Rabiyu -

Morana had definite bitten off more than what she was capable of chewing. But what other choice did she have? If the humans were to invade this world, what would happen to them? To her clan and species, who survived on the corpses of other beings and their own? The Queen was merciful to allow them to exist. But would humans be equally as kind? As understanding? Or would they command a slaughter of something foreign and inconvenient of them? She couldn't have taken the chance. It was too great of a risk. She glanced behind momentarily, at the soldiers that ran up behind her. She couldn't dodge. It would kill them. All of them. Morana picked up her satchel, ripping it open before dropping it's contents. Seeds of all kinds fell to the ground beneath as the dagger was thrown. Morana knelt down, pouring all of her energy into the seeds below. As the dagger reached them, the seeds responded to Morana's magic, trees of all kinds suddenly sprouting before her as the two forces clashed. The force alone sent shock waves throughout, shattering the ground beneath, dust taking into the air. By the time the dust had settled, the startled soldiers watched in awe at the structure before them. Dozens of trees forming a large barrier, thick and protective, barely taking the damage of the attack. The first few trees were all but torn apart into pieces, their wood burnt and pieces falling onto the ground. Behind it, Morana could barely catch her breath. So many at the same time too much more than she was used to. "...hurry." Morana whispered, feeling her body ache. She tried to stand, but quickly collapsed back down onto the ground beneath. She had managed to save the lives of the soldiers, but only for mere moments more. She was exhausted, and her body couldn't give more than it already had. She just hoped her efforts were worth something as she curled up against the floor and her vision darkened.

Morana has been KO!

--Ren Mordecai -- Left Flank: Mystras VS Meksis--

A smug grin crossed Ren's face at Meksis' remark on his identity, crossing his arm and slowly hovering back to the ground.  "Was there ever any room for doubt?"  His feet hit the ground, a dust cloud forming around him as he grasped the hilt of his wind edge once more, holding it out before him.

"My warden is of no concern to you," he stated flatly and yet firmly.  "You're fighting me and me alone, so keep your business where it belongs."

Whether Meksis would honor this was unknown, as he unleashed a large beam of light from the heavens.  This permitted only Ren a split second to scramble out of the way, though it was a narrow miss.  He quickly summoned another strong gust of wind, this time concentrated upon a weakened tree behind Meksis.  The force of which managed to uproot it.  Ren flicked his hand to the side, to which the tree went soaring in Meksis' direction from about three feet away.

"Lucky for you, I gave up on the mercy of Kilkis Seres long ago.  I do things my way now."

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Left Flank: Kilkis Seres Confronting Rabs--

A soldier moaned as Yev withdrew his sword from his gut, shifting slightly to silence a man that had come bounding at him from behind.  The Mystran soldiers were good, he would give them that much credit.  Their lack in number was heavily made up for in terms of their skill.

Yev started to turn, to continue on his path toward the Mystran general, but noticed one of their fallen comrades that looked rather familiar to him and froze.  It wasn't particularly the fact that Morana fell, but, rather, whom she fell to.  He partially expected to see her one day, but not so soon, and not like this.  He kicked his horse into a gallop, wind rushing through his long blond locks as he made his way over to her between the flanks.

In Rabiyu's path now stood her former companion, looking at her with the most curious of expressions.  Was it sorrow?  Remorse?

"I didn't expect to see you here, Eliltari," he voiced.  Yes, it was definitely sorrow.  He had thought of her as a friend, someone like him. And yet here she was, destroying his kingdom and making her way to the back.  "If I may ask one simple question, though: why?"

--Queen Shiva -- Center Flank: Kilkis Seres VS Mariel--

A deep scowl furrowed Shiva's brow upon Rabiyu's explanation, though before she were able to respond the elf sent an arrow in her direction, which would've caused severe damage upon her mount.  She quickly darted away, her horse whining up a storm upon the sudden prompt for movement.  Sparks ignited behind the unicorn's hooves.  What a narrow escape.  And yet, Rabiyu had managed to get away, disappearing deeper into the ranks and out of view.  As much as Shiva desired to chase after her, there were bigger fish to fry, and sinking further back into her line was not on her agenda.

Many brave warriors challenged her majesty, and many had fallen to her silver blade.  She galloped onward, undaunted by the sheer amount of fallen foes and friends that she crossed.  Her attention was arrested by what appeared to be a guardian angel upon the Mystran side, doing pretty much the opposite of guarding anyone.  Her destructive power swept away the lives of several in one fell swoop, elves falling to the ground impaled and dead.  Shiva had found her adversary.  She swung her horse around, facing Mariel.  She formed five ice spears and sent them sailing toward Mariel.  Should they not strike her, they would hopefully at least knock her to the ground.

--Elia Cabret -- Right flank: Kilkis Seres Confronting Raleigh--

As an arrow went sailing into a Mystran soldier, a young woman gasped alongside Elia.  The raven-haired fairy turned on heel, eyes widening in shock as a cry escaped her lips.  One of her fellow healers had been shot by an arrow, as she slid slowly to the ground.  Blood formed along her lips, eyes staring out into space.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Elia cried frantically, dropping her bow and falling to her knees beside her comrade.  She tried to heal the woman, but her injuries were too severe--there was nothing that one could do.

She stood up furiously, glaring around with a critical eye.  It was then that she saw the bowman--or woman, in this particular situation.

"Come out and fight, coward!" Elia cried loudly, fury present in her usually soft and cheery voice.  She notched an arrow and sent one flying in Raleigh's direction, though did not aim very carefully and would probably result in merely a warning shot.  She marched forward, leaving the back line of healers to get a clearer view of her opponent.  Her features were similar and yet different.  Was she a human?

--Everyth Castanova -- Right flank: Mystras VS Maxis--

The foe that Everyth hand-picked was already rather interesting.  She landed upon the ground, her wyvern stretching its neck as its nostrils flared.  She chuckled darkly.  "Excellent.  I plan to make this entertaining for you as well."

Darkness in the form of a violet aura formed around her left hand, which she held gingerly above her.  She rose up into the sky, before shooting down several missiles of pure dark energy toward Maxis and his clone.

Let the games begin.

Jynn Venas and Dawson-Kilkes Seres-Front Flank

Jynn, Mel, and Dawson are nearing Raiden's location. A lot of fellow soldiers have caught up to the trio, and began an attempt to penetrate the opposing flank. Jynn slows Mel to a canter to allow Dawson to jump off. "Alright! Get out there and put Raiden in his place!" He then calls out his armor and axe, and fights alongside the soldiers to draw their attention. Jynn then leaps off of Mel with his sword drawn, and begins charging deeper in the flank. Many opposing soldiers trembled in fear of his presence. Anyone who knew Jynn from the last war at least knows that he is no joke in battle. But four soldiers manage to build up their courage to face the fearless prince. "Stop right there prince!" They all draw their swords. Jynn simply electrocutes them by their metallic armor, but does not use a lethal dose, instead, he leaves them temporarily paralyzed. He then makes a final leap to reach Raiden. As he lands he immediately notices the leader. This is it. Should Jynn manage to defeat him, this will all be over. He then calls out to Raiden, with a powerful yell, but does not move or attack. "RAIDEN!" The soldiers around Jynn were quiet, waiting to see what Raiden would do.

Dawson was then attacked by two soldiers, but with his small size, he dodged them with ease. As he lands on his hind legs, the warriors threaten him. "Surrender now cat, and prehaps his lordship shall be merciful!" But the palico hisses and brings out a large and razor sharp boomerang. He then coats it with explosive powder. "I live for the simple things; like how much this is going to hurt." He then flings it at their feet, with the powder rapidly heating up and exploding upon impact to the ground. The two soldiers are flung back, and severely burned, but alive. Dawson taunts them. "Yea. Hehe. Burn on fellas." He then continues onward.

(Now Aurthur can attack Dawson without trouble.)

 (Mystras's side)

- Henry Hansees - The Dreadnought - Between middle and right flank VS Nergal -

Henry raised an eyebrow as Nergal spoke, this man was cultured, the way he spoke, you don't see that everyday, not many cryptic people around lately. The man dodged his opening swiftly and easily, giving Henry the knowledge that this one was a very agile opponent. Usually agile opponents are hard to start an attack on, Henry would have to be on the defensive.

As Nergal dashed towards him, glaive in hand. Henry's partial dreadnought armor, the Alpha Dreadnought armor, formed around on pure reflex, but he quickly noticed that Nergal feinted his thrust into a frontflip, fast enough for Henry to not be able to attack him out of it, but not fast enough that he couldn't see and react accordingly. As Nergal fired laser-like projectiles at Henry while still midair. He strenghtened his physical ability and dashed forward, at Nergal. The Armor tanking the blows of the lasers with minimal damage taken. And with his enhanced strenght he dashed at quite an impressive speed, through the laser barrage.

As he dashed towards Nergal after the laser barrage was done. Nergal would see Henry, briefly clad in a full body draconic like rock-fiery armor with its coloration changed to a dark crimson color due to also having dark energy infused. But only briefly, as Henry's armor de-summoned the moment he got through the laser and attacked. Henry did a horizontal slash towards Nergal, using the full momentum of his dash and the weight of his sword, launching a small shockwave of wind from the force and speed. However, Henry imagined Nergal would have time to dodge that, and prepared accordingly. The moment he ended his slash he used up the momentum and magic to build up a dark fire orb in his free hand. And instead of throwing at Nergal, Henry blew it up early in front of him, causing a massive blast of dark fire in front of him. If Nergal dodged. Nergal could dodge it with enhanced speed, however it would be quite difficult to get out without a few burns.

- Alastor - The Storm - Breaking the Kilkis Seres's middle and left flanks's defenses -

Alastor's push went smoothly, a bit too smoothly, it seemed like most of the opposing soldiers were taken aback by his presence and magical power, few dared strike him, many opting to strike his soldiers instead, stupid move, since Alastor was also keeping a close watch over his allies, any enemy that attacked a soldier allied to him, would meet a lightning quick slash from his dual sword without delay. The push continued and went so far that he was nearing the point of fully breaking the enemy's flank.

This was good, and it not only left Alastor satisfied, it thrilled him...and what happened when he was thrilled? Even more electrical energy began to spike, as his armor glew more and more, almost as if it was acting as a conduit for his electriciy, his swords were no joke either, both glowing brightly with electricity.

"It is time, to kill the healers!" Alastor spoke, his cape blowing in the wind as he announced it with his soldiers. "Charge!" Alastor shouted as he pointed his right sword forward, and with a flash of light, he was gone, in electricity form, moving like a thunderbolt, he slammed into an enemy soldier so hard with his power that the man's armor was almost obliterated, and his corpse flung towards a small group of soldiers. Alastor smirked below his helmet, and with a snap of his fingers, his surrounding allies's weapons began to glow and sparkle with electricity. Giving them a well deserved boost as he left them to take care of the infantry, while he went after the healers. One of which was in his sight.

Alastor wasted no time, and shot forward like a torpedo towards the Healer's chest, plunging his twin swords in the man's torso as he kicked the corpse away in a quick and horrifying maneuver, treating the corpse like a doll as he kicked, and sent it flying a few meters forward.

Alastor simply switched his fighting stance, keeping one sword in front of him, raised to his waist, and the other a bit forward, and a bit lower. around his legs. It was a while since he used his fighting stances.

( 1 healer dead in Kilkis Seres's left flank).

(Kilkis Seres side)

- Maxis - The Living armor - Kilkis Seres's army left flank VS Everyth -

Maxis and his clone looked at each other was Everyth flew upwards, and each shrugged to each other as they had to choice but to see what she would do.

And attack she did, firing a barrage of dark energy missiles at him. Maxis didn't try to dodge, neither did his clone. They just stared at the missile barrage. "So...what do we d-" Before the clone could finish his Sentence Maxis delivered a quick punch to its stomach, staggering it, as he quickly grabbed it by the leg and one of its arms and used it as a literal shield against the barrage. The Aftermath was a cloud of smoke. dense enough to conceal him.

Everyth would notice Maxis did not move, instead he stood there. with the clone's remains, or rather particles of dark energy left from taking the blow.

"Oh my god! you killed him! He had so much to live for!...How could you?" Maxis jokingly chastised Everyth for her attack, as he opened his arms as the particles began to move onto his body, charging it with the energy the clone took when it materialized. with a faint glow of energy. Maxis's eyes...or lack thereof, glew for a second below his helmet.

"My turn." Maxis spoke as he stepped forward into a dash right at Everyth, with no weapon in hand, simply dark energy in his left arm. Corrupted dark energy...it had a different color from the usual dark energy, it was white and black appearance in it. It was...strange, and felt really unnatural. Regardless.

Everyth would see Maxis leaping towards her at the end of his sprint, flying at her at very high speeds. However, this was all a clever trick with his illusion magic. In truth, there was no attack at Everyth at all, in fact, it was at her Wyvern. The illusion would break only at the last moment of his attack, and the Maxis in front of everyth would vanish along with it. As the real Maxis appeared at the Wyvern's right side. Attempting to deliver a crushing Haymaker towards the beast's side, under the wings. most likely its rib area. The Punch fully charged with Madness energy (The Strange dark energy I described). It could go either way, it could flat out incapacitate the beast, or just deal some damage. You never quite knew with this magic.

"Surprise!" Maxis shouted in pure glee as he did the attack.

{Mariel: Mystras; Center Flank vs. Shiva}

As she finished the last elf, the Fiery Haired Guardian Angel looked around for her next target. She forced the battle haze down to think clearly. She had to pick her targets better. She wanted to break up this formation with as few casualties as possible. That meant leadership. And that usually meant horses. She looked around to see someone on a horse turn towards her. From the armor design and some vague facial similarities to the late King Alexander, Mariel guessed this was Queen Shiva. Even better. The Queen's first attack came in the form of ice spears. Reacting on instinct, Mariel held out her sword Bright Guard and summoned a barrier ahead of her to block the spears. The magical shield took the full force of it, though it cracked horribly with the tips of the spears piercing through in places, but not close enough to Mariel herself.

"Great." The former Archon thought. "The Magic has faded since the war."

With a kick, she shattered the barrier and ice, leaving the field open between the Guardian Angel and the Queen.

"Your majesty!" She called out, her voice ringing clear even through the sounds of battle around them. "Pull your men back! This will end in the destruction of everything good in both this world and the one below. Save yourself and your troops and sue for peace! Raiden will listen!"

Though she pleaded for peace, Mariel took up a defensive stance against Shiva, her swords raised in a guard position. She also watched the flow of the battle, ensuring no one else tried to sneak up on her.

- Arthur - Front Flank - Side: Rebellion of Mystras - VS Dawson -

Arthur saw as the prince rode past. He recognize him. He saw him only once before, when he was walking around Raiden's manor and snooping around much to his on disapproval. "He's here too." Arthur hummed. He gasped, looking up at the sudden explosion, followed by the screams of soldiers as the ground shook. It was the soldier that had arrived with the prince, now off his (quite literal) high horse and on the ground, fighting among the masses. "Darn it." Arthur hissed, swinging his sword as the lightning crackled against its surface. "(Why do they hate us? Why would they just allow us to die? They're the ones who caused this mess in the first place!)" Arthur thought. If they lost...he didn't know what would happen. To him. To his comrades. To his family. To the entire world below. "(Why should we die because of the mistakes of our ancestors...as if being born was a sin itself.)" Arthur thought, gritting his teeth as he ran through the field, bashing his shield across an upcoming soldier, sending them flying to the side as headed straight to Dawson. "(I'll save our world, Visco!)" He came up behind Dawson, charging up a lightning bolt on his sword as he went up against him with a swing. If Dawson didn't block accordingly, he would receive quite a literal shock. The jolts that Arthur had been powering up from his enchanted sword, waiting to find a conduct to go through.

~Aqua: Kilkis Seres: Flank Left~

(Since no one's using the numbers. Rip. Thanks for trying Mystic.)

Aqua rode her horse, well hers temporarily, into the fray. She could see friend and foe alike battling for their lives. It wasn't long before she found herself under attack. A soldier on a horse was galloping right toward her with an obvious intent to kill. Aqua wouldn’t let the soldier draw near, however.  She wrapped her hand around her staff and readied a spell. At the same time, she saw the soldier draw his sword. Her shards of ice flew toward the soldier.

The soldier cuts one shard of ice with his now drawn sword. Two more shards still made their mark and hit the soldier. The soldier cried out as he was hit and dropped his sword to the ground. Her breath hitched in her throat as she watched the soldier fall off his horse. She nearly gagged from the sight. “Don’t look. Don’t look!” She repeated in her head as she saw more soldiers heading her way.

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

Once the dust settle Rabiyu saw a wall made of many different types of trees, and she could also feel the arcane presence of the girl growing weaker with each passing second.
"I think I overreacted," she thought, "but she gave her all to protect those behind her, that takes a lot of guts. I respect that."
Rabiyu once again focused on the  healers and she was ready to take one down, until she heard a very familiar voice. She turned around and found herself facing Yevgeni, her former companion.
"Why? We both know why, Yevgeni," Rabiyu said calmly, "you choose your path, the path to keep the worlds apart, while I choose to fight for them and the survival of their world, to coexist with the humans, to help them grow, just like we have done throughout the millennia. At first I was ordered to help, but then I saw the humans and their behavoir, the yearn to learn, to see new things, to surpass their limitations. King Alexander chose genocide for the humans, these are the consequences of that choice."
Her voice, just like Yevgeni's expression, was one of sorrow, for some reason know only to the elf.
"You have your path and I have mine, and I fear that as time goes on we will continue to grow apart," she said while looking away, "I foolishly thought that...no...It doesn't matter."
She had tried so hard to build unbreakable walls around her and her most innermost feelings, something that almost failed today because for a split second Rabiyu's feelings threatened to come out, that was not the case though.
"Now I ask you the same, Yevgeni," Rabiyu said while looking at Yev, "Why?"

- Sifrei Mond and Aeternum Siblings - Rebellion of Mystras - Center Flank -

It felt like an eternity for the siblings but they managed to keep fighting, even when their opponents were magical beings, from time to time the Archangel joined them to take down a stronger enemy before once again taking a group on his own.
"Our side is doing good, I think really think we have a chance to win!" Aurion said to his sister, "Are you alright?"
Aura was panting heavily, but she nodded and looked behind her.
"Still kicking, they are tough, but nothing we can't handle if we are together," she said to Aurion," I think we are doing a good job holding our ground,"
Sifrei suddenly showed up next to the siblings, which make them almost attack the archangel,
"Easy, it's me. How are you doing?" he asked, "do you need me to heal you?"
It came as a surprise, but Sifrei was sent flying by a powerful blow in his back, the siblings turned around only to be hit by two big punches.
"That is not going to be possible Scum," A huge werewolf said, "You traitors will fall to Fenrir, captain of the Royal Guard's second division."
The werewold howled loudly, making Kilkis' soldiers to step back and leave him to fight by himself against the Archangel and the humans. Aurion and Aura stood up and got into a fighting stance, this creature was huge, it would be a tough fight if the two of them fought against the creature. Without wasting another word Captain Fenrir lunged at the Siblings.

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Kilkis Seres: Left Flank Facing Rabs--

The elf shifted his horse slightly, so that he were now facing his former companion clearly.  It felt that both had betrayed one another, which was strange because there was little between them to betray to begin with.

"You do not know what I've chosen," he voiced, tone smooth and low.  "As your summation is only partially correct.  What if I told you that I agree with most of what you've said?  That I agree with condemning an entire race to be genocide and have a desire to correct it?  This war is the start of a new beginning, Eliltari, not a repeat of the past of which it seems.  King Alexander had the right idea, but took the wrong measures to ensure peace.  Some humans, as you have stated, mean much good, to which I wholly support.  Once this is over I intend to sway her Majesty in creating a truce, a treaty of sorts, if you will.  I desire for the good humans to be granted an eternal home here, with us, in the prosperous world that will never perish.  As long as we continue to say 'yours and mine' and divide ourselves between worlds, this conflict will last forever.

"That is my true goal, Eliltari.  I am serving under Queen Shiva's banner, but only to an extent, and because I disagree with Lord Raiden's methods.  His idea of opening a gate and permitting a free-for-all will never work.  It is a child's dream, and will always result in death, bloodshed, and loss.  That is why we need a third option.  My option.  An option that allows the peaceful and good humans a chance at true unity among fey, not the false dream of two worlds living in harmony.  Should the queen not conform to my ideals, I have means to enforce them."

He closed his eyes and bowed his head, blond locks shifting over his shoulder as he pat his horse's neck.  "I was hoping that you, out of all people, would understand my mission.  You are very intelligent, I have seen it about you; surely you see the flaw in Raiden's view, and that it would never truly succeed?  You still have a choice.  Help me, and we can build the world neither Alexander, Shiva, or Raiden have managed to accomplish."

Yev watched her carefully, hoping his true goals would seem different than Shiva's monstrous ones.  Or, at least give her something to think about.

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres: Center Flank VS Mariel--

At Mariel's proffering, Shiva tilted her head back.  "I'm sure that Raiden wouldn't refuse a peace talk," she stated flatly, holding her stance.  "Though I am afraid that I have no interest in surrendering.  He is destroying the very ideals which have preserved our world, the foundation on which we have lived in peace for thousands of years.  There is no other way, but it is safe for me to assume you have made your informed decision upon this matter?"

She withdrew her sword, head held high, sizing Mariel up as the guardian angel held a defensive pose with her swords.  The ice queen charged, clashing blades against hers.

--Everyth Castanova -- Mystras: Right Flank VS Maxis--

A laugh escaped Everyth at Maxis' sorrow toward his fallen clone.  "This is war, my fine gent; these things happen.  Surely your ice queen told you that when you signed up for all of this?"

The dark energy which formed in Maxis' hand caused her eyes to widen.  Never had she seen anything like it.  She herself possessed dark magic, but of an entirely different nature.  But this?  It was entirely otherworldly, even to her.

As she visualized Maxis charging straight for her the raven-haired mage shot upward, though it had been merely a trick.  The real Maxis appeared at her right side, sending a devastating punch into her wyvern's side.  It screeched in pain, seizing Everyth with fear and dread.  She clutched its neck tightly as they both went swooping toward the ground at an alarming speed.  It crashed belly-first, emitting a terrible cry that tore at Everyth's heartstrings.  She stroked its head, attempting to soothe it.  There was no way for her to assess the damage quickly, but one thing was for certain: her beast was incapacitated for the duration of this fight.

"You," she murmured darkly, silver longsword in hand.  She turned to face Maxis, all of the mirth and playfulness gone from her tone, hair hanging limb across one side of her face.  "You hurt my pet.  And now, I will hurt you."

Her body momentarily flashed with a purple aura before she charged at Maxis with alarming speed, having used haste magic on herself.  She sent a flurry of several strikes toward Maxis, each in places that would be most vulnerable to a man.  Her last was sent toward Maxis' neck, though if he were fast enough--or just that good--he would manage to avoid or block it.

{Mariel: Mystras Rebellion; Center Flank - vs Shiva}

Mariel listened to Shiva's response with a stoney expression. Such an easy thing, clinging to what worked in the past. But it was a trap when things changed to this degree.

"Maybe not." She responded to the Queen's question.

Despite the conversation, the Guardian Angel was prepared to the Queen's charge. Side stepping, she used her duel blades to deflect the monarch's sword rather than block it straight on, along for the charge to go past her. After it had past, she took a deep breath and screamed a cone of sonic energy, aiming for the horse's legs to trip it up.

"So let's cut to the heart of the matter" Mariel called after the queen, her first few words sounding odd as her throat adjust from producing a sonic scream to speaking normally. "What happens to the humans in your grand plan for peace?"

She returned to her guarding stance, preparing for Shiva's verbal and physical rebuttal.

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

Rabiyu spreaded her arms and a water barrier surrounded both her and Yevgeni, making anyone outside unable to enter.
"We never wanted war, Yevgeni. Lord Raiden never wanted this," Rabiyu answered, "They had the chance to talk and Shiva choose to get rid of the humans instead of trying to find a way to understand each other. I know what she tried to do to the humans who arrived at Kilkis Seres, she was ready to use force, but they managed to get away. What happened when you came to Mystras, Yevgeni? What did you do while you were there?"
The Elf knew that Yevgeni was right about a few things, but something made her unable to truly believe in the other elf.
"I know Raiden's view is flawed, so is Shiva's, and in the end so is yours," she said to Yevgeni, "You will bring those who are good, but that is not the point. We want to heal the world below, Yevgeni, not let it reach its end. We can still help good humans, but that doesn't mean we have to condemn the rest. Us fey aren't always good, it would be hypocritical to say we are, and if that is the case, how can we judge which human is good and which one is bad, it is simply impossible."
She looked behind her, the barrier was still there, but she had to hurry, with each passing second more and more were dying.
"I understand what you're trying to do, but with the current situation I think we are unable to make that kind of choices, at least for now." Rabiyu said, "If we succeed in making Shiva retreat, then you can try and talk some sense into her, apparently she thinks that everyone who is not with her is double crossing her. Same case if she somehow manages to defeat Lord Raiden. I think that, for the time being, this fight is far from over, we need to try and keep the victims to a minimum."

- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Front Flank, V.S Basilisk!Helios -

His desperation move forced the Manticore off of Soren, now coughing and screaming in agony in frantic fashion. The Hellfire stopped short, only burning the creatures mouth and throat, but it was enough, he would not be eaten this day. The Manticore thrashed wildly until, strangely, it exuded a puff of smoke around itself, obscuring it from vision as the sounds of throaty, growling pain faded into the sounds of...a Fey in pain?

A Shapeshifter, it had to be, Soren's expression shifted as he stepped forward slightly, listening to his opponent now questioning his sanity. "Wait a moment...you're a Fey...who are you?!" The voice...seemed familiar. It couldn't be, he hadn't heard the voice for years, surely...Ren had mentioned a Helios offhandedly...was this him? He hadn't the time to think, for the Shapeshifer had declared his lack of desire to hurt Soren, pleading for him to retreat before the smoke's radius increased and the sounds of another creature could be heard.

Out from the plumes, a Basilisk rolled out toward him, only just going past him, with Soren turning to face the creature, the shapeshifting brute of Kilkis Seres. The Basilisk had hardened scales and strong blue horns, it wouldn't go down quickly, but it would do so to Soren if he didn't keep his guard up. Sidestepping the second charge, Soren rolled his shoulders as he turned to face Helios again. "Tank for a tank...one of us will be worn down today..." As he said this, Soren's eyes became alight with Hellfire and a flaming aura engulfed him as he flexed outward, unleashing a massive pillar of Hellfire to the skies, signalling his transformation into his true, Demonic Form. Now, he too was horned and durable, his three-fingered hands clenched and his magma blood flowed as his altered face seemed to smirk as he dragged his blade along the ground and charged Helios, attempting to slash upwards, which he would follow with a spinning slash.

- Meksis, Armour of Light, The Chaperone - Kilkis Seres Left/Mystras Right Flank, V.S Ren Mordecai (And a Tree) -

Ren didn't seem to care too much, his expression smug as can be, his attitude one of opposition, passion and hate for Kilkis Seres...and potentially, the Queen. The convict then pointed his blade at Meksis, directly informing him that Soren Monroe was of no concern to him, insisting the fight be between them and them alone. Meksis, shrugged him off, but when his Beam of Light was avoided and Ren dismissed with equal care the mercy of Kilkis Seres, the Chaperone prepared himself for Ren's next attack.

Interestingly enough, a gust of wind was hurled at a weakened tree behind him, not too far away either, giving him little time to react, but react he did, narrowly avoiding the collapsing plant, then focusing his attention to Ren Mordecai, extending his arms outward as he walked toward him. "If anything, Kilkis Seres should not concern you. It is the man you're licking the boots of, Lord Raiden. He's no friend to you! Walk away and perhaps you won't be thrown back into prison." Meksis warned, then he lowered both arms, one hand over his chest. "The Queen won't show you mercy, but I am more inclined to do so. Raiden and Soren are traitors, you simply wanted to explore the world below...I believe you should be given a chance, prove to me I'm not wrong!" The Chaperone had heard much of Ren Mordecai and personally, he believed his punishment to be excessive. Now, more than ever, he hoped he was right, opting not to continue his attack for the time being.

- Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Seres Left/Middle, V.S Henry Hansees -

Henry was stronger than Nergal had initially hoped, easily stopping his laser barrage and charging his position with great haste and presence. During the blocking of his attack, the glimpse he got of Henry's full Dreadnaught Armour was something to behold...he, felt a small spark within himself, usually all he ever feels and yet...he had felt it much easier and, much stronger than usual.

Nergal was intimidated. "How curious..." He thought to himself, but he focused quickly, Henry went in for the attack, the slash and gust of strong wind were avoided with ease due to Nergal's mobility, but the Dreadnaught used his motion to propel a dark fireball at Nergal, who prepared to avoid the darkness-imbued flames. To his legitimate surprise, the fireball exploded early, raining burning embers upon Nergal. He had managed to backstep mere milliseconds before detonation, but the sleeves and some parts of his lower coat were singed. Through the smokey aftermath, he saw Henry...his presence was menacing and Nergal knew that if for but a moment he relented, the Dreadnaught would crush him in his palm.

"Now you...Dreadnaught...you, are impressive...let's see how you handle what I have next."

Floating above the ground, his hands were now covered in electricity, his Aerial Blades were ready. Nergal without a moments noticed dashed straight towards Henry, but then performed a semi circle around him and from his body, emerged an Afterimage, performing the same actions as he. If Henry was perceptive and attacked the real Nergal, he would have to defend with his Aerial Blades then attempt to counter attack with a frontflip-divekick. But if he attacked the Afterimage, he would trap Henry in a cage of four of his Nothingness Barriers and barrage him with more Aerial Blade Lasers.

--Yev -- Kilkis Seres: Left flank--

The blond glanced around in surprise as Rabiyu summoned the water barrier.  While being overheard certainly wouldn't be pleasant, he couldn't help but wonder what others would think to find them alone in a water bubble.  Both seemed equally dangerous, in his mind, but he chose not to voice his concern on the matter.  Other things were far more pressing.

"The problem is, Eliltari, that all humans cannot be trusted.  Some can, yes, but not all.  What about the humans whom invaded our lands two-thousand years ago, choosing not peace but genocide of our race to take over our world?  That is why we need a new court, a new rank of judges who will have the ability to determine who can stay and who must leave.  There will never be a perfect system, but this is the closest to it that I can grasp, and still ensure peace."  His emerald eyes met hers, flashing dangerously as they did so.  "I cannot repeat what happened all of those years ago.  We lost so many dear to our hearts.  So many friends . . . my sister"--at this his voice cracked, his gloved fist clenching his horse's reins with a death grip--"valuable fey that are irreplaceable.  Surely you're not signing us all up for such a fate to repeat itself?"

Yev noticed that the other elf seemed tense, and he too knew that their time together must be kept brief.  "They are both wrong," he told her firmly.  "You and I both see that.  It is up to us to use them to our advantage and bring about true peace.  Take as few of lives as you can, as will I, and we will reconvene at a later time.  We still have much to discuss."

The blond rode past Eliltari, pausing so close beside her that their shoulders brushed.  He knelt toward her ear and whispered: "Don't get yourself killed" before moving on, preparing to leave the water bubble unless the Northern Elf had more to share.

--Shiva -- Kilkis Seres: Center VS Mariel--

The sonic blast was enough to make Shiva flinch, and her unicorn did far more than that.  It reared its hind legs, causing Shiva to nearly fly off the front end nose-first into the soil, potentially crashing into the roots of a tree in the process.  Thankfully she managed to hold on for dear life, wrapping her arms tightly around her unicorn's neck.  The steed was well-trained, regaining its composure quickly as Shiva coaxed it to turn around, facing Mariel from several yards away.

"My purpose is to serve the good of the realm," Shiva stated flatly, almost robotically.  The words didn't suit her, and perhaps even Mariel could sense it.  "The humans are not my concern to bear.  Sacrifices must always be made, as I'm sure that you've encountered yourself."

The queen sliced at the air, a cool mist bouncing off her blade as it met the warm air around them.  "Now if I may rotate this toward you: surrender now, and no harm will come to you.  You have been misinformed by Lord Raiden, which I will pardon fully."

--Ren -- Mystras: Left VS Meksis--

The redhead was mildly disappointed when the enchanted armor dodged his thrown tree with ease, crossing his arms casually over his chest.  He ceased in attacking while Meksis spoke, though arched a brow when he offered Ren mercy.

"You're right about one thing: the queen won't offer any mercy," said Ren with a scoff.  "She threw me in the depths of Isopolis after little more than a biased trial on ancient rules, with a life sentence of its confines and frequent visits to the torture chambers"--in case Meksis didn't fully understand, he paused and extended his hand in emphasis--"yes, I did say torture chambers.  Isopolis has them.  After spending time in the world below I've come to learn that humans have every right to live that we do, and we are in no position to strip that authority from them.  I know that allowing them to live is risky, but that's the only thing that seems right.  I can't knowingly condemn innocent people to a tragic fate, like I had been.  Like Helios has been."

His body shook at the thought of his dear friend, who he thought to be in the heart of Isopolis as they spoke.  Little did he realize that he were on the opposite side of the battlefield, not too far from where they were locked in, fighting his former warden in a battle to the death.

- Helios - Front Flank - Side: Kilkis Seres - VS Soren -

Helios growled, stepping up as he glared at Soren, huffing at him. "Helios Silverstrider. A traitor, as my world has called me." Helios hissed, shaking his head. No. He wouldn't, he couldn't allow his anger to blind him. Not now. He had to focus. "I can't allow you to kill innocents on the side of Kilkis Seres. Innocents with no choice but to fight for patriotism or be branded traitors and defectors...like Ren..." Helios growled. Right now wasn't the time for him to allow himself to be emotional. Of course he wished for humanity's chance at life. It wasn't fair for this world to take it all while left them to die for generations to come. But as long as he was under the Queen's orders, under the flag of Kilkis Seres, he would just have to make due. As he watched Soren transform, he got himself ready. As Soren charged forward with his gigantic sword, slashing upwards, Helios dashed right at him, spinning as his sharpened horns served as blades of their own. He clashed against the sword, sparks flying as the metal clashed against the horns. When Soren took back his sword and gave a spinning slash attack, Helios stopped his spinning, blocking with his tail and its horns, though struggling as it began to push him back. Helios took this chance to use his tail to smack the sword to the side, using the chance to straight up tackle Soren, head first, pushing him across the field.

- Center Flank - Side: Kilkis Seres - Wendigo Boss Battle -

If you were in the Center Flank, you would be suddenly hit by an unbearable stench. It was strong, nauseating, the type that by just smelling it would either make you gag or gain a headache. That's when it was seen, crawling from the woods. Dead skin hanging from it's figure, bone and muscle exposed as white, glazed over eyes stared across the field, before letting out a single, ground shaking roar. A Wendigo had entered the field, and by the sight of it's focus, it was going after the soldiers of Raiden's Rebellion. The Wendigo roared, running across the field, the ground shaking beneath as it ran into the enemy, a swing of its arm bringing sharp claws down across them, slashing soldiers with ease. Blood and screams surged beneath the Wendigo's wrath, before it began to pick up soldiers...and eating them, leaving soldiers to scream in horror and anger, some puking in disgust. Kilkis Seres had a Wendigo on their side, and it seemed that it wasn't afraid of dying a second time.

- Lord Raiden, Mystras, Left/Center Flank, Against Jynn -

Raiden paused in his delivery of a final blow to a battle-scarred war veteran, glancing up in Jynn's direction as he shouted out Raiden's name.  The veteran faced defiantly against the ruler of Mystras even after being disarmed, stoicly awaiting death, but Raiden kicked the man aside instead.  His life was spared by the prince, intentional or not, and he would not forget the debt he owes him if they both survive this battle.

Thoughts poured through Raiden's head like rushing water.  On one side of the coin, he could fight Jynn and prevent a big headache from his fighting his troops, bolstering morale for the Mystran side of the conflict while weakening Kilkes Seres.  On the other side of the coin, fighting Jynn would make peace talks with Shiva come to a close very quickly, and not in a positive manner.  Worse yet, if he did not take any action towards the prince, morale would lower for the Mystran troops due to their leader not facing the challenge.  The decision was lightning quick, as was his action when he twirled his blade and scraped to a halt a reasonable distance away from Jynn after a series of lightning-fast steps.

"Prince Jynn," he said smoothly, wrapping his hands around the sword hilt as he rested his sword's tip on the ground.  He emitted a grin, more fake than real.  While he took no pleasure in the meeting or the potential aftermath of this exchange, it was for the best to force Jynn to retreat or surrender.  "I take it you are not calling me over the throng for tea and scones."

- Raleigh Marin, Mystras, Left Flank, against Elia -

An arrow lodged itself into the balustrade of Raleigh's makeshift rampart with a sickening thud, scaring the female assassin into looking up at the quivering thing and then outward.  It seemed as if there was another archer out there, a sharpshooter just like she was, and right now the sights were on her.  Raleigh did not like that, nor the challenge across the way, hard to hear across the din but understandable.  She tossed her raven head out into the crowd to find what seemed like a fairy on the other side rushing forward, face livid.

Since the jig was up, she lifted herself from the rampart's balustrade, drew an arrow of her own, and readied her sights on the young fairy Elia, aiming high to disable either one of her shoulders if she was indeed the archer.  Once satisfied with the amount of time spent on aiming, she loosed the arrow with a profound note sounding from her bow.  The rapid speed would make it difficult to avoid normally, but unbenownst to Raleigh Elia was anything but normal.

((Here's a possibility for Morana to come back, Stardustblade, if you want her to do so.))

- Reginald Heathertoes (NPC), Kilkes Seres, Middle Flank, Against Alastor -

Near the front ranks a foul-smelling individual roamed, scouting the fallen and seeing who was alive and who was not.  For those who were dead, he passed over them.  Only his fingers brushed across the eyelids in order to end their stare.  For those who were alive, he sought out a pulse and, finding it right, placed a healing crystal on them.  Some were resuscitated to consciousness, others lay still dormant but more alive than before.  When he approached Morana, however, he worriedly placed a sizable crystal on her forehead.

"May this restore you enough to seek better help," he murmured under his breath, his voice possibly resonating within Morana's mind.

This man was a druid, and a renowned one at that by the name of Reginald.  Rumours say he was a friend of the late king Alexander, but they also say he was affiliated with Raiden.  For this battle, however, he played neither role except for that of peace, and since Raiden was disturbing the peace he assisted in healing Kilkes Seres' soldiers more so than the Mystran ones.  Danger was afoot, however, when he looked deep into Kilkes Seres' ranks and saw Alastor and others still wreaking havoc.  It was time to put an end to that.

Making his way further in, his presence like that of an odious waft in the air, he came across Alastor, the blood on the Storm Lord still fresh from a recent kill.  Reginald recognised the face of the dead healer in the distance, a young colleague of his, but whatever sorrow that danced within his eyes at the death of such brilliance did not display itself on his expression.

"I cannot allow you to continue your slaughter," he called out towards Alastor, each syllable frothing from his mouth like flame as he simultaneously called into being words of power.  "I will roust you and your fellows back to your front line, or die trying."  He took a slight bow and simpered, eyes never leaving Alastor's as he did so.  "Reginald Heathertoes, Battle Medic, stands before you.  And who might you be?"

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

Many things were coursing through Rabiyu's mind at the moment, that was normal most of the time, but not now, those things were mostly about the future and what laid ahead for everyone, fey and humans alike. There was also Yevgeni's words, subtle hints of something hidden deep within, what was he planning to do?
"Worry not, I am sure that I will survive," she answered Yevgeni, "but I ask the same of you."
She wanted to ask the meaning of his words, of his sorrow, his sister and rage, about his plan for the dagger he ordered to be stolen, his means to enforce his ideals. Something seemed wrong with the way Yevgeni expressed himself, but all of that would have to wait. With a wave of her hands the water barrier disappeared and she ran towards the back of the enemy lines, ready to take our the healers.

- Sifrei Mond and Aeternum Siblings - Rebellion of Mystras - Center Flank -

Darn it was a tough fight! The werewolf was moving too quickly for one of his size, he managed to dodge all of the siblings' attacks while attacking them at the same time, they were alive thanks to the armors their elf friend made for them.
"This is bad, Brother" Aura said to Aurion, "This creature is obviously way beyond our abilities."
Aurion was looking at Fenrir, looking for any opening to attack.
"Just concentrate, Aura, do not lose sight of him," Aurion said flatly, "We need to be really caref-"
The Werewolf came to a sudden stop, jumped towards the siblings and attacked with his claws. The siblings barely had time to react, only using their weapons to block the attack, but with his superior power, the werewolf was overwhelming them.
"Ugh! Can't...move..."Aura whispered before an idea for med in her mind, "and so...can't you!"
Aura's sword glowed brightly for a moment, blinding the werewolf and making him take a couple of steps back, in that moment Aura used her sword to stab the werewolf at the side of his stomach, unleashing the paralizing spell of her weapon. The werewolf growled at the younger Aeternum and once again tried to attack her, only to discover that he couldn't move that fast.
"Well...well...looks like you humans have some tricks..."he said flatly, "but that is not enough!"
Fenrir was about to attack the human, but was stopped by pain on his back and the head of a spear coming out of his shoulder.
"I think you should leave them alone," Sifrei said, "Unless you want to die."
Aura took out her sword before Sifrei used his strength to thrown him away from the group.

Dawson-Kilkes Seres, Front flank VS Aurthur

As Dawson continues to fight, he hears the sound of cackling coming from behind him. As he looks, a soldier, Aurthur, was leaping towards him with his sword raised high. Dawson's forceful reaction causes him to change his armor, materializing into one with high electric resistance, while blocking the incoming attack at the same time with his axe. He starts to mock the soldier. "Well, looks like someone has no guts to face someone else head-on." He then attempts to push Aurthur backwards, while he creates a gap between the two, and extends the razor sharp claws on his left paw. "Move on kid, killing is not something on my mind. Save yourself so I won't have to claw your face off."

(Kilkis Seres's side)

- Maxis - The Living Armor - Left flank vs Everyth -

Maxis shrugged as the Wyvern was wounded and practicaly incapacitated, "Typical Wyverns, all roar and fire..." Maxis commented semi-sadisticaly, and sarcaticaly, in a twisted kind of way. Dark energy flowing around him for a second as he took a few slow steps towards Everyth.

If Maxis had a face with eyebrows, he would have raised one os his at Everyth's threat. "You killed my clone!" Maxis replied, pointing a finger at her.

Maxis didn't move as Everyth charged her energy and casted haste on herself. Simply holding both his arms opened, as he waited for her. "Well COME ON, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!" Maxis screamed at. With pure glee in his voice as Everyth charged a thim with a flurry of slashes.

Maxis deflected many of Everyth's blows as she slashed, deflecting most of her attacks with his gauntlets, getting away mostly scott unharmed, until Everyth went for his neck. Maxis did not try to dodge the slash to his neck, it connected in full, knocking his entire head off, in fact. But Maxis threw an uppercut directly at Everyth's gut to trade the blow. The attack would send Everyth staggering back if it landed. Of course it it didn't she would still see Maxis in full headless splendor.

"Oh my...I think i've lost my head." Maxis replied to Everyth, as he began to charge madness energy in his hands. "My turn!" Maxis spoke as he slammed his hand onto the ground. Casting yet another illusion, in Everyth's eyes, the entire ground of the area they fought turned pitch black, said darkness began to spread in the air as well. As a dark fog began to encroach the surroundings, concealing Maxis, who was still headless. In its pitch black surroundings.

"Try to keep up lady." Maxis spoke, his voice echoing through the surroundings. As he appeared behind her. With a sword in hand, made of pure madness energy, as he did a flurry of slashes at her. Mostly aimed at her...leg.

Mid flurry he would disappear, and reappear on her blindside, doing another flurry. It consisted of thre flurries in total, the third was done by Maxis and a clone of himself...who was also headless.

After the third flurry, whether Everyth was able to withstand the onslaught or not. The pitch black area began to dissipate, it was absorbed into Maxis's right hand, forming into an orb of dark energy, he stood a few meters away from Everyth, crushing the orb. As his helmet began to rematerialize.

Maxis was simply silent afterwards, awaiting for Everyth to act.

(Mystras Side).

- Alastor - The Storm - Vs Reginald -

Raginauld came just in the nick of time, calling Alastor as he was just about to slash another one of Seres's healers, instead leaving him for his soldiers. As Alastor slowly turned around, sparking with electricity as he did. Swords in hand. Alastor simply stepped forward as the man, called Reginauld approached.

As the man introduced himself, Alastor couldn't help but think he had heard the name before, but none of that mattered now, this was war, and this man opposed him.

"Alastor." Was all he spoke, no point in talking to his enemies. "Your name is not strange to me, however, whether you were previously allied with Raiden or not is of no importance now, since it looks like we are on opposite sides." Alastor explained, his voice seriously and emotionless.

"You won't stop me." Alastor spoke, not trying to hide his power and magical aura to the druid. He stood, awaiting for Reginald's move. He wanted to see what this Druid had in store.

- Henry - The Dreadnought - VS Nergal -

"Whatever you say" Henry replied to Nergals compliment, maitaining his his stance, now awaiting for Nergal's attack, he was disappointed his attack did not land, and instead, merely damaged the man's clothes a bit. THen again, he was the mobility type, nothing Henry could do much other than predict his moves and act accordingly.

It didn't take long for Nergal to charge electricity and...aerial blades? that looked legitimately cool from his perspective. As Nergal dashed at him circling him, Henry was about to slash at the after-image. However Ariana stopped him. His perception of time began to slow down as everything seemed like it was in slow motion as she spoke with him.

'Its a decoy' as she spoke, his perception of time returned to normal, surprising him somewhat, but he didn't show it.

This caused Henry to rethink his strategy extremely fast, thankfully he never had trouble coming up with on the fly strategies. He saw the real Nergal, and dashed towards him with a strong slash of his sword, engulfed in flames, as Nergal defend the blow, the sword clashed against them, causing a strong explosion, possibly shattering the blades, As Henry prepared for Nergal's dive-kick.

As Nergal kicked, Henry's armor materialied again for the split second he counter attacked, attempting to grab Nergal's leg and slamming the man on the ground with extreme force to shatter it on impact, if he could not grab him however. Henry would simply backstep to gain some distance. Henry could not do any attack Nergal couldn't see coming, considering their differences in speed. So he would have to react to Nergal's attacks. His Armor disappearing after doing the attempt.

- Reginald Heathertoes (NPC), Kilkes Seres, Middle Flank, Against Alastor -

"Alastor of the Thunder Sword?" Reggie asked with piqued curiosity, adjusting his circular shades and leaning forward to get a closer look.  "Hmm, you certainly seem the type, and your chemistry pops with as much electricity as your body.  Combat with you will certainly be interesting, but first things first."

Putting one foot far forward and kneeling down, Reginald slammed a calloused hand hard onto the ground, glancing to the side where the shock troopers continued ahead.  Mounds of very loose earth rose from the ground and gained in size rapidly, spewing churned and fluffed dirt like a volcano in the front, left, and right cardinal directions of the Mystran shock troops.  It was an effort to blockade and delay, nothing lethal about it at all.  However, earth this loose was more dangerous than hard earth if they decided to scale the mounds, especially if the Kilkes Seres soldiery would attack them with ranged weapons and spells.

"Now then," Reginald continued, rising once again after his performance and smiling, "to our business, Alastor.  Mind you, though, I ain't very fair in fights."

{Mariel: Mystras Rebellion; Center Flank - vs Shiva}

Mariel's eyes narrowed as Shiva offered her explanation of her goals. Something was...off. Her voice rang hollow. Was she lying? Surely Fey royalty would know how to lie better than that. The Queen's remark on sacrifice caused the Guardian Angel's glowing eye to flare briefly. How dare she-

With Shiva's cool mist expanding, Mariel got a hold of herself. She had to think with her head not her heart.

"Every Guardian Angel knows sacrifice." She said in a strained voice, ignoring Shiva's call to surrender. "From the cradle, we have to accept that our fate is to sacrifice ourselves for another."

Spinning Heaven's Flame in her right hand, the curving blade of the sword seemed to twist and pop before the blade burst into flames. Mariel held it out in front of her to ward off the cold. At least this enchantment hadn't lost any power.

"But we are also taught that some sacrifices are too costly." The former Archon continued. "If you sacrifice what is good in you, you taint what you seek to protect. Too often I have seen people use your reasoning to justify any kind of atrocity, including genocide. Would you sacrifice the young? The old? The weak? Even you sound unconvinced of your own path. End it now, before this war taints everything you seek to protect in blood!"

- Arthur - Front Flank - Side: Rebellion of Mystras - VS Dawson -

Arthur grunted as he was pushed back. Crap. The electricity didn't do a damn thing. Arthur raised his shield as he gripped his sword, staring at Dawson straight int he eyes. "I don't want to kill either. But what choice do I have?" Arthur began, glaring as he narrowed his eyes. "Your queen refuses to take down the barrier that is killing my world. She would prefer to see our kind and world die than to admit that she was wrong. Our people are starving from crops that refuse to bloom. Our animals are dying of sicknesses that cannot be cured. All because of this damn barrier that is punishing us for something that was put in motion long before any of us were born." Arthur hissed, powering up his sword once more. "So I dare you to come and claw my face off. Because if fighting and killing you means to keep my family from dying, then so be it!" Arthur yelled, charging at Dawson again. He slammed his shield against him, using it as a barrier between him and Dawson as he spun on his feet around him, getting to Dawson's back and jabbing his sword for a back stab.

- Center Flank - Side: Kilkis Seres - Morana & Wendigo Boss Battle -

Morana shuffled in her unconsciousness. Something stirred in her mind, a voice that reassured her. Her body regenerated its natural energy, at a much rapid pace than it would usually do thanks to Reginald. Morana groaned, holding her head as she felt a familiar scent that she was all too used to. Death. Decay. She slowly sat up, looking around. She had fainted after using up all of her energy for that one protective barrier. Had the soldiers survived. Oh she hoped so. There was a huff overhead. Morana looked up, smiling softly as she recognized the creature. A Wendigo. "You came all this way for me?" Morana asked, humming as the Wendigo Boss gently petted her head, blood dripping from his teeth. Morana raised her arms up, still feeling tired, as the Wendigo picked her up and settled her to seat on its shoulder. She still felt tired, she had to rest up a bit more before she could fight again. The Wendigo did not mind, however. "Don't mind me." Morana hummed, resting against the Wendigo's head. The Wendigo did not hesitate, letting out a bone chilling roar as soldiers struggled with what to do. Did they run? Did they fight? Regardless, the Wendigo didn't let any of them out, rushing after them as it quickly began to pain the battlefield red with blood.

Jynn Venas-Kilkes Seres, Front flank with Raiden

As soon as Raiden turned his attention to Jynn, the prince raised his sword. But Raiden jabbed his in the ground. What? What's going on? Jynn tries to get an answer, but still remains on guard, reading Raiden's movements. "What's with this reluctance? I'm sure it's not like you to not attack immediately. What's the issue?" Suddenly, a random soldier tries to to attack the prince. "Don't worry my lord! I'll protect you!" But Jynn blocks the man's attack, and trips him. Jynn then grabs a hold of his leg, and then hurls him at a group of soldiers, knocking them down with some of them unconscious. The prince faces back to Raiden. "I'm sorry, where were we?" He waits for a response, but remains on high alert.

Dawson-Kilkes Seres, Front flank VS Arthur

Dawson prepared himself for Arthur's attack. Even though he got hit by Arthur's shield, Dawson managed to duck to dodge the incoming sword, but it left a large scratch on the back of his armor. Dawson quickly uses his claws to try to swipe his face. Whether or not he succeeds, he catapults off of Arthur's chest to create a gap between the two. He then replies to the human's statement. "My "queen"? MY "QUEEN"?! I'm not in this ridiculous war for Shiva's equally ridiculous politics! Even though I respect her for sparing me, she is not my queen, nor do I care for her ideals." He regains his footing. "And you humans are completely naive, aren't you? You are completely oblivious to the fact that your race has it easy compared to some others, like mine. My race, except me, is forbidden to step foot within the capital, we are slaughtered for disgusting practices during October, have no homes, are easy pickings for monsters, and our numbers dwindle EVERY DAY! My race is almost extinct!......... AND YOU HUMANS THINK YOU'RE GETTING THE SHORT END OF THE STICK?!" He then reaches for two boomerangs and coats them with an explosive powder. "At least you have a family you can go back to, while I have lost mine, and I have to suffer on my own!" He spits on the ground in anger. "Why am I even telling you this? It's not like you care, because you humans are apparently mindless, stupid, emotionless, selfish monsters!" He then hurls the weapons at an alarming rate, with the powder ready to explode upon impact with Arthur or the ground.

- Arthur - Front Flank - Side: Rebellion of Mystras - VS Dawson -

Arthur listened to him, his eyes narrowing and his movements faltering for mere moments. So even among the kinds in a single world so full of variety the queen had only certain amount. His faltering cost him,as when the weapon was hurled at Arthur, he barely had time to block with his shield. Once he did, the explosion upon hitting the shield was so powerful it sent Arthur flying back. Arthur fell on his back, hitting his head heard as he began coughing at the smoke and the force that had pushed him back. With a pounding headache, stabbed his sword on the ground, using it to help himself up as quickly as possible. "...then why the hell are you fighting for her?" Arthur asked, staring at Dawson. "Why are you fighting under her flag? She has done you and your kind so much harm yet you wear a happy facade and follow her orders. You're a living contradiction!" Arthur hissed, pulling his sword back as he looked down at his shield. If it hadn't been magically enhanced, it wouldn't have held out. He would've been dead. Thank the blacksmith. He felt the warmth of blood slowly trickling down his forehead and to his eyes, forcing himself to use his forearm to attempt to wipe it off, leaving it smeared as more followed. "So you're fighting in hoping that she will see your sacrifice and spare your kind?! You've seen what has become for her refusal of taking down the barrier! What makes you think that she will be so lenient to you?!" Arthur asked, glaring. He gritted his teeth as he held his shield tightly. "Your suffering is no different from our own. We're both equally as desperate. You will go as far as to fight for the very woman who can save your kind with a single word. While we went as far as to the sky to look for salvation for our world. You can call us what you want, but if you are in the same situation as us, then you know very well that when you back an animal into a corner, it's either flight or fight...and I have decided to fight." Arthur got into pose. "Even if I die, at least I know that I did everything in my power to help my people, my kind...can you say the same?" Suddenly, Arthur dashed forward, swinging his shield up to Dawson's head, before swinging his sword from below, aiming at Dawson's side.

Dawson-Front flank VS Arthur

Dawson was becoming furious at Arthur's assumptions. "I don't follow HER orders! I follow her son's, Prince Jynn, my best friend, and all I have left! He saved me from her wrath, and I owe him my life! Shiva means NOTHING to me! I will never forgive her for what she's done to my people!" The palico raised his axe, ready for Arthur's attacks. "My race is too endangered to recover effectively, so I don't care about Shiva's recognition! I want what's best for my friend! I want him to succeed, but his mother is in the way, making it harder for him to achieve his wishes; to stop this racial hatred towards my kind, yours, and many others!" His grip tightens. "I guess you could say he's like family to me........" He then faces back to Arthur. The soldier reminds the palico that he will fight for his own people. Dawson was unable to think of what he was fighting for other than Jynn. Was he fighting for his own people too? He was unsure of what to say. "I may not have much left to fight for, but I will fight 'till the bitter end!" Arthur then tries a tricky attack, but due to Dawson's small size, Dawson instead gets pummeled in the face by the shield, sending him flying backwards with his hind legs leaving the ground right before Arthur's blade would've slashed them. A bit of his back left paw pad was cut, but this was not an issue because he stands on his toes. But he does hold in a shriek from the pain. He lands with a hard thud. "Welp. One life wasted, eight to go." He gets back up quickly with his axe in his paw.

- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Front Flank, V.S Basilisk!Helios -

Soren's attack met with Helios's horns, sparks flew from the intensity of their clash and did not cease as his spinning slash was also blocked, though Helios appeared to be being pushed back by the force Soren was putting out. The former Warden huffed, hoping to use this to his advantage, but his plan was cut short as the Basilisk pushed his blade away with more strength than Soren could match and went on the immediate offensive. Soren found himself in the familiar position of being below a ravenous beast as he was tackled to the ground hard, skidding along his back with Helios forcing him to the ground. As the war raged around them, Soren growled in a deeper, distorted voice than he had before his transformation, looking Helios in the eye as he reached for his face, his left hand seeming to feebly clasp the Basilisk's face.

"So...you are, Helios, after all...but, you're fighting for Shiva...?" Soren inquired, seeming desperate, though it was a ploy. "The Monarch...who, who'd have you imprisoned...you do battle...under, her...under her banner?" His demonic voice growled as he took this moment to grab onto Helios's face tighter and pull him closer as he ended the ploy of weakness and bellowed: "What would Ren say, if he could see you now?!" Angered with Helios's apparent betrayal of his formerly imprisoned comrade, Soren viciously reached for the Basilisk's neck, wherein if he succeeded, he would grip onto the thick neck tightly and heat it up immensely.

- Meksis, Armour of Light, The Chaperone - Kilkis Seres Left/Mystras Right Flank, V.S Ren Mordecai -

Meksis listened intently to Ren, noting his agreement in that Shiva had little mercy to give someone like him, but his initial calm at the Wind Drake for actually reciprocating his conversation faded into a deep shock as his opponent spoke of torture chambers. His armoured body clattered as he shook and raised his head to look Ren straight in the eye. "Hold your tongue! You--? You spoke of...of, torture chambers?! Shiva uses...those, vile contraptions?!" Meksis spoke with a genuine surprise. He knew his comrade Maxis had a few sadistic tendencies himself, but to hear this Monarch that he serves would utilize such disgusting techniques on a man who simply ventured to another world, it shook him to his very core.

"She would rather...you suffered, in the dark and the cold...?! ...n-no...I do not believe it! I will not!" The Chaperone's disbelief was overwhelming as he clutched his head, struggling to make sense of all this...his other hand was upon his neck, for it was now in pain. "S-Surely, she...I...I...must...arghh..."

Something was wrong. Meksis felt wrong, his whole body felt...cold and it was shaking. He frantically turned to his left and if Ren paid attention, he would see a small, but vicious mass of shadows and darkness emerging from the back of his neck, along with seemingly organic tendrils latching onto said neck.

- Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Seres Left/Middle, V.S Henry Hansees -

Henry didn't take the bait and Nergal was forced to defend himself, but his Aerial Blades couldn't withstand the sheer power of his flame-engulfed blade and they shattered. No matter, he could always make more, but even his counter-attack was intercepted, the Dreadnought's armour formed and defended him, allowing Henry to make a grab for Nergal's leg. The masked man managed to react in time and retract his leg from his reach, stepping off of Henry and landing.

Nergal eyed Henry for a moment, he seemed ready to backpedal. He felt it perfect as he simply stood and powered up with Nothingness Energy and made it seem like he was about to charge, but in reality he was focusing the energy onto Henry, preparing to use his devastating Grand Cross attack, which would focus deadly, and shredding Nothingness upon his target in a violent, explosive fashion. His attempt to fool Henry was to buy time, as it took a while to charge, but the attack would land for sure if Henry fell for it. If anything, it would show the sheer power he is capable of exuding upon the Dreadnought.
