Unknown point in time - Location: Northern Continent - Frozen Pruina Wastelands

The landscape was that of a frozen wonderland, snow as far as the eye could see, a few of the native creatures wandering around, but one of said creatures didn't belonged there. No, the frozen wastelands of the North were not a place for a small, and starving, elf girl. She was alone, with nothing but the cold wind as her constant companion. She could feel the grip of the other side in her eternal soul and yet she refused to perish. The last thing the small elf saw before the darkness took over was two silhouettes running towards her.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras

Now there was an unplesant memory in the mind of the High Elf. Something buried deep into the mind of Eliltari of the Calaquendi, and buried it should stay. The cold did not bothered her that much, not when she had lived in a place much colder than it was in this place, but it was still uncomfortable, albeit for a different reason. Those thoughts were better left forgotten for now, this was not the time or place for such pondering, not when a disturbance could be felt. Something happened to cause a massive flux in the arcane energies around.
"So, we will be making arrangements for my friend's wedding," Rabiyu repeated, "I do not mind. Perhaps I could gather materials while we are here to make the illusion more believable."
She then listened to what Yevgeni had to say.
"It is understandable, and agreeable. If something out of the ordinary is happening, we do not have time to wait for the Prince or the Queen to take action," The Elf said, "I am sure that even the two of you can feel it, right?  The arcane energy between Mystras and the Shrine is being disturbed as we speak. Something is bound to happen soon if we do not make haste."
The feeling, while slightly noticeable, would take some time for those further into the continent to feel it, perhaps it would be to late by then.
"In any case, we must be ready for any situation," Rabiyu said to her companions, "Even for the most unespected ones. Keep in mind the possibility that, by some interference, Lord Raiden could know about us and our objective, and will be taking the Queen's move into consideration. If fighting is unavoidable, then we better be ready for it."

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - road to Avarice

"Capable? Perhaps," The older Aeternum said, "it isn't about hurting, but protection those who can't. At least, that's what we do, Gel."
Aura crossed her arms and huffed in annoyance.
"I would never take the word of that person seriously," Aura said, "Not in a lifetime."
Aurion slowly nodded and shook his head.
"I'm afraid that the more we keep diggin, the darker the King's secrets will become."
The younger sibling looked at Helios and then back at the others.
"Maybe we could continue our talk as we walk?" she asked, " We need to arrive at the city or we could miss Henry. And we do not want that, right? Then we can work on how are we going to get you home, Helios."

~Arthur, at Isopolis Shrine~

As amazing as it all was, Arthur was quick to bring himself back into the reality of the matter as he watched the strange figures walk up, the king introducing himself and his crew to them, as they did the same on their side. Once he saw Draksis stand besides the King, Arthur took after his example, thanking Curvis for his courtesy before promptly standing slightly behind the King in case there was any need to rush. With Draksis alone, and everyone else who had come with them, the King was more than safe. But this was a new world, and Arthur could not forget what he was, what he aimed to be, a Knight, a better one than his father would ever be. He had to be. Regardless of when, or where. He kept quiet, mostly just listening to everything that was being said around him. So this world had a Queen, it appeared. And a Lord Raiden...how exciting.

~Helios, road into Avarice~

Helios blinked a few times. Right. Going back home. He had only wished for that every moment of his life that he had spent in Alderon's clutches, and yet now that he was free...such thoughts kept escaping his mind. Yes, he knew how to get there, he had the means as well, however there was a hint of...hesitance. If he were to return, rumors would spread, and the Queen might even end up punishing him...not that he didn't deserve it after breaking such a rule, but still. There was also the worry of the questions they would ask. 'Where is Ariana? Is she not with you?' 'What happened to Ariana?' 'Did you leave Ariana behind?' What if he was asked personally by her family? He didn't know if he had the bravery or the heart to admit, to tell, to reveal that such a wonderful friend and daughter had died through the terms of greedy experimentation, and that her blood was used to fuel and create supernatural soldiers to work for the world below...no, he definitely couldn't even form the possibility, the thought of the words causing a lump on his throat. "I am glad you aren't mad." Helios finally said, a soft smile escaping his lips. He had seen so much bad within humanity. To see such gentleness and good was overwhelming, in the most wonderful way. "Alderon is..." Helios paused, looking for the right word before he found it. "...an @$$hole." Helios smiled. He looked back at the siblings, nodding at the suggestion. "Like Aura said. We're all heading the same way anyways." Helios said as he pointed down the road and began to take a few steps forward, looking back at Gel. "Our friend Henry is like you. Maybe you would like to meet him?"

~Morana, at a home among the ruins~

"So you're a wendigo-fey? I would have expected you to remain with your group." Uriel spoke as she poured some honey into a cup of tea. "I needed some time to reflect alone." Morana admitted, spinning the sugar in her tea with a small spoon. "I am surprised you didn't notice me. My scent is....rather strong." Morana admitted. "I just thought an animal had died. Besides, I've smelled worse." Uriel said rather kindly, though one could tell she was trying very hard not to appear rude due to the strong scent of death. "So...he...?" Morana began, not knowing how to phrase the question. Uriel seemed to read her mind, however. "My husband, yes. His name is Alek." Uriel said with a soft grin. "He cannot speak fully in our words, but he has learned sign language on his own." Uriel said as she watched the Spriggan by the name of Alek walk out of the house, heading back to the ruins. "This ruins are guarded by him, so we made a home out of the ruins here. We don't have any neighbors, but we get to live peacefully when no one is trying to find the hidden treasure." Uriel explained casually. "How you met must have be a wonderful story." Morana said as she glanced around the house once more. Something seemed missing. "I guess it is. It was quite funny actually. At first we tried to kill each other!" Uriel said cheerfully, before her expression sullened. "I used to tell our son that story all the time. He by the 100th time he would groan and roll his eyes." Uriel shook her head, quickly clearing her thoughts as she turned to Morana. "You said you needed time to reflect. Are you alright?" "Yeah, it's just." Morana paused. "...my group encountered her majesty in the woods, actually. With a demon and some...living armor." Morana murmured, to which only seemed to peek Uriel's interest further. "Anyways, I just found it off that she would be so far away from the capital. I mean, she's the Queen, she can do whatever she wants it just...seemed do odd." Morana sighed. It must have sounded so dumb coming out of her mouth, but thankfully, Uriel seemed the kind to simply nod and listen to her woes. "Surely it's just the Queen doing Queen business." Uriel assured, shrugging slightly. "I've heard rumors, though, that some guy Lord Raiden is trying to come up with sme conspiracy against the Queen!" Morana began, almost sounding relief to indulge in what she could consider a conspiracy partner that she could actually talk to. It only caused Uriel to laugh. "Rumors are just that my dear, rumors, no more and no less. Though is trouble is to come the queen will definitely be quick to fix it, as she always has." Uriel said, waving her hand dismissively. Morana sighed and lowered her head. Oh well, at least she tried. Maybe the rest of her group would take up on the conspiracy once she returned to them. It wouldn't be hard to find them, just follow the trail of the scent of death. However as she spoke of this, Uriel seemed to change her attitude from a cheerful one to a nostalgic one, almost teary or weary. "She always makes things right again."

Henry - The Dreadnaught - Passing through Toulouse -

It didn't take long for Henry to make it through Bayeux, simply passing by the market place, wearing his hood and travel cloak, covering his armor and weapons, and buying some supplies for the road. He didn't actually need those supplies, since his metabolism was slower than the average man, he could stand to stay without eating for an extended period of time without losing fat or muscle. But then why did he buy supplies? to not look suspicious of course, guards are much less inclined to mess with a man carrying food and travel supplies than they are to mess with someone wearing literaly nothing but a cloak on their person. That and Henry needed to look as inconspicuous as possible, specially now that the earlier itch on his hands had not only extended to his arms, but switched from itching to minor pain, his reinforced rock layered skin vibrating, making him quite uneasy as he left the city of Toulouse and set off on the road to Troyes.

"One third of the way there...nothing so far. Good, gives me enough time to think about things." Henry spoke as he walked the road.

'So for the situation at hand...I am due to meet with a griffin boy, a weird mercenary, a brother of said girl, also a mercenary....Alright, i'd almost look forward to that if not for the fact they rilled up the guards on their escape, making my life difficult. but i'l forgive...' Henry thought, thinking over things was a good way to pass the time on the road after all.

'As for the situation at hand, Alderon and whoever the hell is his advisor now, and a bunch of others, especialy Draksis are off to the world above, I got this scroll which I have no idea what it is for in my pockets and the situation in the kingdom is going to get bad, extremely bad, what with now an overly sheltered princess ruling over in the meantime, come to think of it I never actualy saw her in person, Alderon always locked her up in my time.' Henry thought as he sighed. 'This is going from bad to worse, now not only are the guards mobilizing around looking for us but also Everyth is on the loose, and if her power is at the level I think she does, she can track me down easily with her magical sense. I did leave quite the trail...' He sighed again.

The pain on his arms started back up again, in full toll, the pain was now unbearable. He grunted as he took out his gauntlets for a time as he saw his arms and hand...shifting...his skin...moving by itself, and what seemed to be darkness seeping from his arms, "Huh..." Henry was confused for a second. before focusing on his left hand, as his skin started to move again, slowly charging up dark power, his arms glowing all the while. Quickly poitning his open palm forward aiming at some tree, he send out a massive blast of dark energy forward, in a large cone in front of him. Obliterating the trees which were first hit, the others behind said trees were simply torn apart. by the blast.

The pain stopped, seemed like he needed to use this newfound power at least once for it to stop, same with his armored skin, it was the same way.. 'Darkness huh? its finally manifesting more, before it was only on very small ammounts...but that was no small ammount. Its one thing after the other isn't it?' Henry thought, as he put the gauntlets back on and quickened his pace. Leaving the now destroyed area behind. Quickly crossing halfway into troyes.

- Alicia - The grimoire mage - In the city of mystras with Rabiyu and Yevgeni -

While Alicia's companions didn't talk much during the trip to Mystras, only about the plan and what they would say, they weren't that unpleasant of a company, she felt rather safe and well among them.

"A marriage huh?" Alicia spoke with a small smile, "I'l admit its not a bad plan bu-" Alicia was interrupted as a rather weird arcane shockwave coursed through the atmosphere. Almost as if something opened, and she didn't quite knew what.

"Yeah, felt it as well." Alicia commented with now a serious face, as she was now doubting of this going smoothly, specially now that something had indeed happened in Mystras or the forbidden isle, all the while the queen's actions were slow, far too slow, to do an investigation, what with Jynn still back at his home.

"We're ready for anything should the need arise, I bet Raiden knows we're coming already. You can never be too sure." Alicia spoke seriously, her tone now serious and without a single tone of playfulness or sarcasm.

- Alastor - The Storm - Raiden's villa, in his home -.

"Yevgeni you say? That arrogant brat is still alive I see." Alastor commented, as he had a few run ins with the elf in the past, the boy was never much of a threat to him, much more of an annoyiance. Having had a few run ins with Shiva herself sometimes as well, though only formally as he passed through her kingdom in his travels, She knew him and his story alright. That much he knew, and she probably knew that he was Raiden's bodyguard now as well.

"They will not be a problem, I have dealt with Yevgeni in the past and the elf is nothing to scoff at, but at the same time not something to worry about either, its the traveling mage that worries me, as I have no idea who that is, the lady of the mysts is most likely that elf guide that guides people out of the forest of illusion. thats my best guess" Alastor continued to comment, as his travels had also drove him through the forest a few times, but he always managed to get out on his own, even if it gave him much trouble, once almost starved to death in there, but he was all the stronger for it.

He ignored what Neena spoke about him, trying not to get angry at the woman as he looked at Raiden to see his response to her demands. He was constantly on edge and ready if Neena tried anything. Analyzing her and her magic signs.

- Lord Raiden, conversing with the intruder within his villa outside of Mystras -

Raiden too sensed the shockwave of energy, but kept his mirth hidden beneath a stony face. He listened intently to Neena as she elaborated on the travelling group to Mystras, pleased by her attention to detail's being greater than his own foxchild spies'. Under different circumstances, he would have offered double her previous salary for her to remain with him, but he thought against it, especially with her finalising statement.

"Thank you for your information," he replied at the end, attempting to be both polite and curt. "While I am sure you have a wealth of other information, I need nothing else. However, if you need incentive for silence"--he reached down to his coinpurse and threw the entirety of it towards Neena--"consider this and four equal payments to be enough scattered through the month. I trust you understand the consequences of broken silence will be more than the end of these payments.  I like my secrecy."

With a grin, he turned back towards his fire, seated himself anew, picked up the book, and flipped through a few pages.

"Please exit the way you came and enjoy your newfound knowledge, unless you have other business to do here."

- Rufus Contralto, talking amblingly with Baxter -

Rufus craned his head to listen in on the details regarding this Lord Raiden, surprised that there was anyone using lightning magic in this realm, considering it was so rare from where he came.  Perhaps it was because the elements themselves rallied against lightning, forcing its magical practitioners to become as scarce as Bigfoot.  Or was it?  He was still questioning his previous life's existence, but something about it rang true.  A little while longer and Rufus overheard tons of interesting information on the creatures of this realm, scratching his ear at the thought of such fantastical beasts.

"Now you're the one that's saying weird stuff," he uttered in a befuddled manner before laughing.  "This place seems to have so much crazy creatures, beings, and wonders to behold!  This is my first trip outside the lamp in ages to see the outside, and I'm glad to be here."  His face turned dead-serious.  "I hope you don't juice these . . . tree bat bugs or whatever you called them.  I had an odd run-in there with some insects.  Perish that thought.  Now, you may have mentioned this before, but are normal people around, ones who don't have magic except through odd means?  You look human enough.  Mayhap you're human?"

- Raleigh Marin and the Infiltrator, currently within the Isopolis Shrine -

Raleigh listened intently, only halfway paying attention to Curvis' being polite and giving him a half-baked smile. She stepped down the walk and onto the landings, keeping tabs on the situation. This strange masked man and King Alderon seemed to be hitting it off wonderfully, but there was something about him--perhaps his hiding his face--that put her on edge.

The Infiltrator nodded to the king's question, responding to him, "You miss nothing, Your Highness. I'm your guide and guardian, tasked by Lord Raiden to guide you to the safety of the city of Mystras, Raiden's governance. There you can reconvene with him, learn more about our fair world, and afterwards return. Queen Shiva will likely know that you are here, but Raiden acts independently and the queen will not interfere too greatly with his affairs."

At least, so I hope, he thought to himself, glad that the mask could hide his facial features.  There is no knowing what runs through Shiva's head.  We know that better than anyone.

"A ride will take us back to the city, hidden from the typical rounds of the guards and cloaked with my specialty.  We will have no problem with guards, not with Soran here, if we move at a forced march or slightly less.  I pray that will not be too much of a bother, Your Majesty.  Speed is of dire essence before matters get out of hand."

As Raleigh awaited the king's response within the growing crowd of passengers, she allowed herself to slip into a moment of humanity and looked over to Curvis.  She wondered how he was taking things and hoped to catch his eye long enough to give a better smile in response to his previous act of kindness.  He was different than most.  Perhaps it was his naivete and youth or more the fact that he gave her food, but she liked the attention he gave her and how different he was from her.

Jynn Venas- in his abode in the Mountains near Mystras

Jynn lets go of Bherna and stands up. "This happened a few years ago. We were doing some training until an ogre attacked. I managed to kill the beast, but not before Bherna panicked and blasted my wings out of fear of losing me." He turns his head to Elia. "I did in fact try to see if I could be healed, but the damage was too great. I also tried to see if my mother could do anything, but to no avail. I'm permanently grounded, as far as I can understand." He stretches and gives a slight smile. "But being grounded does have its benefits. It has made me a much more fearsome ground fighter over the years." Jynn understands that Elia and Aqua tried their hardest to soothe Bherna's sadness. He thanks them for the gesture.

He then turns to the city of Mystras and hears out Elia's concerns. "I've sent Yevgeni and a few others to Mystras to investigate, so there is no need for more of us to be there." Jynn pauses and looks around. He senses something. Something disturbing. He is not quite sure of what it is or where it's coming from, other than it being in the Overworld. Dismissing it, although cautiously, he has a change of plans for the other feys. "I want the rest of you to scout around the mountain range. Look for anyone suspicious, and prevent them from going towards the Forbidden Shrine."

He then looks back to the city. Thinking of Yevgeni and the others, he begins to think to himself. "I hope those three take subtle action if they find anything. We cannot afford to wait. I'm not sure if Lord Radien knows of my return and antics, but if he does........................... *sigh* I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands...................."

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Home

Neena looked disdainfully towards the coinpurse. "Keep your coin Lord Raiden. I've no need for it. When I said information for information, I meant it." She said coldly, kicking the coinpurse that had landed near her feet, some gold spilling out the top. She needed to figure out where that magic wave had come from. She had a bad feeling about it as a whole. Neena looked back to Raiden and Alastor one last time. If she was lucky, Shiva's attack party would be capable enough to do what the Queen wanted them to. She could take one, maybe both on a good day. But it wasn't a situation she wanted to get into. "If what you said about Isopolis and your interests is accurate... Well, you will see me once more. But only once." She said, then slipped out of the door, and into the shadows, where she fell into a portal of her creation. She needed to get to the Isopolis.

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; The Road Into

Gel nodded generally towards both of their words. Protecting... Still an odd thing. No one had ever depended on him for protection before. Even still, he was awful scrawny, the Fey blood not having improved his physique at all. Going into town he doubted anyone would consider him worth some coin to hire as a guardian compared to the siblings. He followed the party as they began to move towards the town, a few steps behind. He was newest to the group, didn't want to impose and lead the way. He knew about as much about Avarice as Helios probably did really. Gel had never done much travelling before being drafted, and the idea of a foreign country was kind of scary to him. Helios asked him if he'd like to meet Henry, and Gel shrugged. "It'd be nice I guess, to compare notes. But that guy is whoo, just way outta my league y'know? Talk about outclassed, seriously. If I were Alderon, or anyone else really, I'd be terrified if he were after me. Hell, if I were me I'd be terrified if he considered me an enemy."

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ The Phoenix; Dock

The ship had docked, and the motion hadn't gone unnoticed. Ryonne had brought a finger to his lips, hoping his comrades would find a way to keep their mouths shut for once. He moved towards the ladder out of the machinery deck, Swanson and Viridem behind him. They carefully watched as each person disboarded, making their way to the people on the docks. Ryonne glanced towards his companions, who seemed rather focused on the scene before them. They'd actually made it to the Overworld. Of course, that alone was scarcely an achievement. After this was the hard part. Figuring out what the hell was going on up here... The trio stayed silent, stowed behind some cover, keeping eyes and ears open. Fortunately, the people were very focused on their Overworld welcoming wagon, and after how many times they'd checked the bloody ship, were certainly not looking behind them. A good thing for them, now that they were very out in the open, and very very outnumbered.

- Lord Raiden, within his villa and done with his conversation with Neena -

Raiden nodded in understanding, ensured that they would once again meet.  She left as quickly as she came, and the two were once again alone.

"Rebellious and fiery but honorable and without great love or need for money.  That is what we need more of around here, don't you think, Alastor?  If only she could wrap her pretty little head about what I know, what we know, then she would be a strong partner and ally.  Until then, I'd like to keep a private eye on her.

"This incoming party with the queen's son in the lead is worrisome but not unprecedented.  It might even be fruitful, having Jynn meet up with the king of the world below.  Alastor, keep informants at the gates, sentries on the walls, and information collectors stationed at the city hubs.  If Jynn, Yevgeni, or this Lady of the Mists come by, have them tell me their whereabouts."

Raiden flipped another page, his eye catching a glimpse of an illustration, one that he had forgotten was ever put onto parchment.  He frowned and closed the book with a solid whump, a sigh escaping him as he allowed a wistful thought back on those days.

--Yevgeni Malachite -- City of Mystras--

It made things much easier for the elf that both women agreed to his cover story, as well as his plan of action.  "Do as you wish, Eliltari.  Anything that makes us more legit will give us a cunning edge."  As they entered the city he began to scan the crowd, his brow furrowing as he did so.  "We may also wish to change clothing.  I forgot how different the culture is here from Kilkis Seres, and other regions of the Overworld.  You are probably fine as you are, but Alicia and I may require a bit of work."

The crowd was diverse, though signature.  A lot of fine silks rather than brocades were visible within the crowds, along with lots of earthy shades and not the vibrant hues of the Kingdom.  It would have been safer, especially for Yev's case, to dress out of his fine robes and sleek boots, though even as they currently were they probably would have passed as visitors.  They just didn't blend in, that was for certain.

"We should probably try to gather as much intel as we can, though this may prove especially difficult without getting ourselves into Raiden's villa," Yevgeni murmured under his breath.  Just then, a nearby saloon caught his eye, a burly man covered in sleek silver armor entering with a much smaller companion.  Their armor bore the emblem of unity, a symbol favored heavily among Mystras.

"I think those were officials," Yev whispered to the two women.  "Perhaps we should slip in and help ourselves to a drink.  Maybe we can learn something in there.  After all, a drunk man is an excellent source of information."

Meanwhile, down the road to Avarice, intersecting paths with the Aeternum twins, Helios, and Gel . . . .

A duke reclined in his carriage, his arms behind his neck as he drawled on to his companion: a man who seemed very disinterested in the duke's conversation and much more with the stain on his sleeve.  "And then I threw down the whole council at him--the whole council!"

Before the duke could continue, however, they came to an abrupt halt, causing both men to be flung forward in their seats.  "What nonsense is this?" the duke growled angrily as he kicked the door open of the carriage.  He stepped up to peer at the driver, demanding an explanation for their sudden halt.  "You there!  What sort of funny business is this?  I doubt that we're in Sondon already."

"No, Sir Reynold, look up ahead."  In their path was Helios, the twins, and Gel, seeming to wander in their direction.  "I believe we may have company, potentially Sondonians."

"Why would they be out here, though, I wonder?" the duke murmured aloud, stepping outside of the carriage. "And why would they send children--of all the abominations in the world--to spy on us?"

He strolled out before the four, waving casually as he did so.  "Greetings, young travelers and, er, gentleman.  You are far from any kind of town whatsoever.  What brings you out this far, hmm?  Might you be a little lost, or perhaps running an errand for her royal Highness?"

--Alderon Niles and Curvis Sourati -- Escaping the Isopolis Shrine--

Of course, the royal party was so engaged with the Infiltrator and Soran that they hadn't even noticed Cerberus escape from below-decks.  The king nodded in response to the Infiltrator's words.  "I only could except that some would be hostile to our presence.  I understand it has been a very long time since any human has walked upon your lands.  I thank you all graciously for your hospitality, but enough on the matter for now.  You said time was of the essence before an alarm was raised.  We should depart now, and quickly."

The king turned to steal a glance at his fellow companions, most specifically Draksis and Midnea, the two who were most important to him on this journey.  "Let us be off.  Please, good sir, lead the way," said Alderon, gesturing toward the Infiltrator.

Taking the rear, Curvis was rather relieved that they were going to see another portion of the Overworld now.  While he was certainly excited about their venture into the unknown world, he was not particularly impressed by their dank surroundings.  From the corner of his eye he saw Raleigh glance in his direction, causing the young man to turn his head to face her.  A warm smile was planted on her face, which caused Curvis' heart to flutter in his chest as a smirk stretched his lips.  "Okay, with the way you are smiling at me I can only wonder: is there something on my face?  Is my collar inside-out?"  He couldn't fathom why Raleigh would be paying particular attention to him otherwise, but he most certainly did not mind it.

--Elia Cabret -- Mountain home of Jynn--

The fairy's lips parted slightly as Jynn retold the story of his wings.  She bit her lip, wishing to find the right words but failed.  A sigh escaped her as her gaze met the ground.  "I'm so sorry, Prince Jynn.  I had no idea.  I hadn't thought anything--all the time.  I just thought . . . . "

She shook her head, rising from the ground, listening as Jynn changed the subject and spoke of what the others were tasked of.  "Wait, so you sent Yevgeni into Mystras to take your place?  Forgive me for possibly speaking out of turn--which I probably am--but it should be you leading that party into Mystras.  Yevgeni has never done anything to help you.  His best interests only lie in himself, his own profits, and making himself look better in front of the queen and transforming you into a fool.  You should've seen his utter distaste for you on the battlefield when we fought those ogres.  They need us, Prince Jynn, they need you."

Of course Elia had her own personal reasons for hating Yevgeni, feeling he was partially responsible for her sister departing to the world below, but that was beside the point.  Meekly the raven-haired girl nodded, turning toward Aqua and offering her a hand up off the ground.  "We will scout the area if this is what you wish, but I would beg of you to reconsider, Your Grace"--she turned to Aqua and nodded--"come on, let's go get the others."

--Fiona and Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

The queen was strolling down the hall, thinking about just how brashly she wanted to punish Ivany and Maxis the moment she found them.  It seemed cruel to allow her subjects to itch themselves to death for the amusement of the two dear friends reunited, but at the same time they hadn't had this much fun in, well, nearly two-thousand years?  What kind of queen would she be if she were so cruel to her guardian and loyal protector as to ruin his source of amusement?

Still, she argued with herself, Maxis could have more constructive and positive forms of entertainment than making other people suffer.  Yes, that was definitely going to be something she'd bring up with him.

Until she sensed the change, the shift of the barrier . . . .

Shiva drew in a breath as she gripped the wall, her other hand running through her long ice-blue locks.  Of course, her attachment to the barrier between worlds was more . . . personal than others, and thus she had no doubt in her mind about what she felt, and what this could mean for Kilkis Seres.  With more urgency the queen made her way down the hall and opened the door which she most assumed Ivany and Maxis would dwell inside: Ivany's quarters.

"Maxis, I'm very sorry for interrupting, but I think there is something more important for us to attend to.  Things are changing, and I believe we must travel before it is too late."

Both surprise and fear pierced into the heart of the maid, though Eclaire's kiss was no ordinary kiss, or at least Fiona seemed to think so.  She'd never been kissed before, so she couldn't quite say, but do kisses normally leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and slightly numb?  It was a strange sensation, even if it lasted briefly and was not strong.  The maid turned to Eclaire with wide blue eyes, still appearing slightly fearful of the rose-haired woman as well as . . . sorrowful?

"R--right, Lady Eclaire.  I will leave you to rest.  Call upon me if you need anything!"  She stumbled into the coffee table as she rushed toward the door, falling in a heap.  The flooring snagged a hole in the knee in her tights, though she only rubbed it momentarily as she hurriedly rose to her feet.  Eclaire was certainly a subject of curiosity to Fiona, though she couldn't help but wonder why Eclaire seemed so sad.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras
The High Elf was already looking around for different types of fabrics, each and one of them offering a completely different design for a wedding dress in her mind. Perhaps she could introduce those along with the jewelry she made. Rabiyu often looked at Alicia, trying to imagine a dress in her mind's eye. The younger fey had a cute figure and that only made it easier to design a dress, not that she was going to make one, it was only a ruse, but the idea of making more dresses in the future was something to consider. Valdra, the Incandescent Drake, would laugh at such simple minded notions such as marriage. Mortals, or long lived beings such as feys in this case, were something she watched to amuse herself, if only to avoid the dullness of the current age. Valdra was old, far older than anyone could even imagine, it came to reason that she had to do something to distract herself from time to time.

Unknown point in time - Location: Northern Continent - Caves under Praestigia, the Forest of Illusion
It was one of those nights when lost souls wandered the Forest of Illusions, not trapped like popular beliefs made others think, but free to wander the wide forest without any living fey wandering around at night. That, of course, was on the outside, a living fey was indeed wandering the forest, or rather a cave in the forest, it was time for another visit to her friend.
Deep beneath the surface there was a massive cave, perhaps half the size of the continent, it was the home of one Great Drake, Valdra, and it was currently the place where her whole hoard was.
"Valdra?" Asked the young elf, "Are you awake? I do not want to disturb your nap."
There was some sort of pedestal in which the elf sat on her knees waiting for an answer. There was a loud growling noise coming from the darkness deep inside the cave, the sound of coins sliding from the mountains of gold that was there.
"And yet here you are again, Sapling," A voice echoed in the elf's mind, "Not that I mind, of course. Having someone to talk with is a change I welcome wholeheartedly. Perhaps you will grace me with another tale of a soul lost in the forest? Those I love to listen to, if only for the fact that feys are still not knowledgeable enought to avoid this forest in which we dwell. Its secrets are mine to guard and keep, just like my treasures. I find them quite amusing to be honest."
The High Elf looked around and huffed slightly.
"Valdra, there is enough gold and gems in here to...," the Elf hesitated for a few seconds, "well, you could be the owner of the whole continent If you so desired."
The faint sound of a laugh could be heard in the mind of the elf, it was strange for her to listen to it, not when the source was the drake hiding under all that gold.
"What makes you think I do not own this small patch of land, Sapling?" the Great Drake asked, "I brought it here from the world below to keep my treasures safe. I let you borrow some of it in exchange that you come once a week, but do not mistake my "treasures" with this worthless pile of gold."
The Elf was curious about what the Drake meant with those words, but she didn't had the time to ask.
"After all, there are far more valuable things than gold hidden around here, such as knowledge lost to time, or powerful and ancient artifacts," the voice said calmly, "But I digress, Sapling. Please, tell me about your day."
It was a strage friendship the one between the young Elf and the Great Drake. One seeked to learn about the Nature of the World, its workings, things others didn't knew about. The other had lots of time to spare, perhaps even until the end of days. A strange friendship indeed. One that, even after a millennium and half, was still strong.

"For a Great Drake, Valdra is good company," she said to herself, "as strange as she is."
After a few minutes, and teleporting some fabrics that she got into her misty container, Rabiyu heard the voice of Yevgeni.
"As you said before, we are just visitors," she said, "I do not see any problem with our current garments. It is true that we may have a hard time to blend in, but let's avoid causing problems for the time being."
The Elf noticed Yev's reaction and she did the same. Two men in armor, both with the emblem of Unity. Perhaps this was worth investigating.
"Agreed," Rabiyu answered to Yevgeni, "This could prove to be an advantage for us, we can get some information from those two. But let's be cautious, we are in enemy territory. Trust no one but those of this group.

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - road to Avarice
Aura apparently was the first to doubt the newcomer, someone of higher status if the carriage and clothes were any indication, followed by Aurion and probably Helios and Gel too.
"Royal Highness you say?" Aurion replied, "I'm afraid you are mistaken, we are indeed travelers, and as such our plan was to get to the city of Avarice."
The younger sibling noded while looking at the Duke.
"We have an important reunion," Aura said flatly, "A friend of ours is supposed to meet us in the city today, or maybe tomorrow, if nothing interfere with his journey."
Aurion looked at her sister then at his other two traveling companions.
"No offense," he said calmly and with a smile, "but we really must be on our way before we miss each other. We do not want to miss our friend, or he wouldn't like it one bit. Not after the toubles he was in after he asked us to wait for him in Avarice."

-Helios, with the twins, and Gel, on the road to Avarice-
Helios chuckled a bit at Gel's commentary about Henry. "...well, you do have a point. He is pretty scary when he wants to be." Helios said., and only based on minimal exposure. As far as he had seen, Henry was kind, and the type to bring his own sense of justice his way or the high way. But at the same time, that aura that surrounded him, it was suffocating. The scary kind. Truly, whatever their blood, as Overwolders, did to the humans, besides bring them death, was something to be feared. Which then made no wonder that the King would want to go further in such experiments, despite of he inhumanity of it. Just as suddenly, they were intercepted by someone. They had a carriage and everything, and dressed of noble clothing. His confidence yelled both arrogance and curiosity, and though seemingly harmless for all that was worth, Helios was quick to jump into a defensive state. He tilted his head to the stranger, looking back at the group and then back at the noble. He watched the twins speak up, and Helios was quick to follow up with them. "...He should be waiting for us there already for all we know, we really should get going." Helios said, hoping the simple explanation would be accepted and he would continue onto his merry way. "Sorry if we are in the way of your carriage, we'll make enough space for your carriage to ride through." He added.

-Arthur, escaping the Isopolis Shrine-
Arthur kept behind his majesty Alderon, hiding in his shadow and making sure to watch his back for anything. It was utterly exciting. They were going to venture into a whole new world, but he had to remind himself that he was here not just to explore, but to serve his king, and to protect him, from whatever threat that might come up in this brand new world.

Jynn Venas & Bherna Lao-At their abode in the mountains near Mystras

Jynn then attempts to remind Elia on why he chose Yevgeni to go, but then after hearing Elia's concerns and remembering Yevgeni's distain in the group, Jynn's distrust in the elf is refueled. Elia was right. Trusting Yevgeni on a mission like this is like having a bull in a china shop. Before the two feys head off, Jynn calls them back. "Hold on." Jynn then whistled for Melstrome. As he mounts the pegasus, he then informs the two about his new plan. "I still want you two to scout the mountain in case someone tries to reach Isopolis. I will go to Mystras to check on Yevgeni, and I will do some investigating myself." Jynn then remembers the disturbance he sensed earlier. "Also, keep an eye out for anything suspicious. I sensed something odd earlier, and I now think it's something worth looking out for." He then looks to Bherna. "Sweetheart, I want Baxter to keep an eye on you." Bherna questions her father. "Aw come on! Can't I go with you?!" Jynn simply shakes his head. "No darling." Bherna then begrudgingly turns to the house and begins to walk. "I never get to go on any missions with him......." She then opens the door to see Baxter and Rufus talking.

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; Road Into

Gelabrous smiled and nodded as Helios affirmed his beliefs. He was still trying to wrap his head around Helios' existence to be completely honest. A Fay, a real Fay. Stuff of fairy tales, and walking right here with him like it was no big deal. Even after being experimented on, he couldn't really understand Helios. He was still a myth, a thing he'd never see or be exposed to hopefully. Something with incredible powers, beyond the scope of humanity. Though really, that criteria fit him now too... That was kind of a sad thought. That he wasn't within the scope of humanity that is. Regarding Helios though, what Gel thought most interesting, beyond the whole dragon thing, was that the guy was normal. Like a friendly neighbor. And that was really weird. Gel was distracted from his thoughts when a carriage came from down the road, stopping beside them. Aurion and Aura reacted first, dismissing the worry, and Helios followed up saying essentially the same thing. Personally, Gel still thought "Royal Highness" should really require some more investigating but he was the tagalong. Their priority was Henry, and he could respect that. Gel peeked his head closer towards the door so he could look inside, and waved awkwardly to the people inside.

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Flowering Hyssop in Mystras--

The tavern was small that the trio stepped foot into, with probably only a dozen tables accompanied by the long bar before the bartender.  The blond elf assumed a seat at a table a short distance from the Mystrian knights, watching from the corner of his eye while seeming interested in his two companions.  "I suppose we needed a meal anyway, hmm?  Can't easily work on an empty stomach."

Only moments after the trio were seated a young redhead came over to their table.  A warm smile was upon his young freckle-covered face, pen and paper in hand.  "And what can I do for you folks?" the young man greeted, turning a page of his notepad and eyeing Alicia first.

While Rabiyu and Alicia submitted their orders, Yevgeni took the opportunity to steal a glance in the direction of the two knights.  Both seemed carefree and were laughing away, one spilling his beer over the side of the mug and splashing his companion.  The companion, however, seemed not to care, and instead took a swig of his own mug before wiping his lip.  "Seems things aren't going to be settling down for a while, 'specially with the urgency under which Raiden seems to be working."

"Yeah, you ain't kidding about that, mate," the other knight commented, resting his elbows on the bar in front of him.  "It really gets my goat, though, that Her Royal Queenness put us in this position to begin with.  Killing another world for her own profit!  Who ever could stand for that notion?  People try to say fey are selfish, and now I get why."

Nervousness seemed to creep over the other knight's face as he stole a glance around the entire tavern, to which Yevgeni glanced away.  "You really should be careful, Bart.  You never know who's ears might be hearing.  Even in Mystras, we still are under rule of the Queenship, and such words would have you hanged in a jiffy.  But yeah, I get what you mean.  Still, I'd prefer an easier job.  Killin' tattlers and royals isn't really my favorite thing in the world."

"Uh, sir?  Sir?"

The words snapped Yevgeni out of his reverie as he blinked, glancing up into the face of the redheaded youth.  The waiter seemed entirely puzzled; apparently he had been trying to get Yev's attention for a while to take his order.  Casually the blond folded his hands in his lap.  "Oh, yes, of course.  A lemon water, for starters, and I'll need another moment to look over the menu before deciding fully upon what I'd like."

The waiter nodded, offering them a wide smile.  "But of course!  Please take as much time as you need."

As he walked away Yev finally caught a better glimpse of him, noticing for the first time his red bushy tail that swished lightly as he turned the corner.  A Kitsune.  How very interesting.  He'd known that a lot of them had taken refuge in Mystras due to unfair discrimination, and many seemed to be turned off by Queen Shiva and had been caught in rebellions against the crown.  They would definitely not need to pull anything suspicious with a waiter like him.  Not to discriminate as well, but he could never be too careful, and they were in no position to take risks.

--The Duke and his crew -- Road to Avarice--

The duke cocked an eyebrow as he tilted his head.  Casually he crossed his arms.  "Ah, so I am to understand you are meeting with a friend on foot, from some Sondonian village to Avarice?  And what would ever possess you to do such a thing?  Surely you have heard of horses--or better yet carriages--for transportation over long distances?  That is a very long and weary journey, one which I would be surprised you were going on without something up your sleeve.  I find this very suspicious and unlikely, but it doesn't matter."

Reynold brushed blond locks from his forehead, glancing over to the servant who had been riding with him.  "Prepare to depart once more to Sondon, and leave them.  They are not involved in anything, as far as I am concerned, nor have they ever seen us."  The duke withdrew a small pouch from his pocket and poured silver and gold pieces therefrom, onto the dirt path between them.  "This is for your silence.  Continue on your way and deny you ever saw any of this and you will be spared.  It is a matter which I don't wish for you to involve yourselves in.  Go to your friend."

Upon his words, a vibration upon the ground could be felt, and the soft sound of hooves drew closer.  In only mere moments, hundreds of armored men approached, spears held high with pride as they galloped further along the path.  One held the flag of Helvadoria, which it seemed only plausible that Sir Reynold heralded from.  The soldiers on horseback passed them on all sides, parting between trees and treading on grass before making their way beyond the party.  A smug grin stretched the lips of the duke as he turned his back on the party of four as he slowly tread toward the carriage.  "Good luck on your endeavor in reuniting with your friend!  I hope that Avarice treats you well."

Whatever the duke was up to, and whatever was about to transpire, was big, and seemingly ominous from all of the armed horsemen.  He did seem unconcerned by the party, however.  Whether they would simply walk away or question what was about to happen was up to them, though it did seem interfering with the duke by any means would be requesting a death sentence.

(Will post for Shiva, Elia, and the party in Isopolis once others have posted.)

~Aqua:Jynn's Place~

Aqua nodded at Elia. "Yes,let's go before the mission gets anymore side tracked. Most of the group left to go ahead." She rolled her eyes at that last bit of her comment.

She started to walk to the front of the house. "Do you happen to know who we're missing from the group? When it comes to those things I don't keep track. I guess I should have been keeping track...." She sighed and looked at the sky as she walked.

Unsurprisingly she walked into a tree. She fell to her bum. She groaned weakly. She stood back up and dusted herself off. "Maybe I should zone out a little less... Well at least the feeling is gone for now." She looked at her body and everything was unhurt aside from her pride.

Both humans and fey walk side by side through the forbidden walls of Isopolis.  They emerged from the sewers through the adorned hall of velvet runners and floating chandeliers.  Many close calls with the royal patrol were had, but never were they found.  It was mostly excitement that emerged from the humans, but Alderon was slightly different.  He was feeling satisfied with his accomplishment, and felt that what he was fighting for would finally come to fruition.  His true motives likely were over the heads of his accomplices, but he indeed had plans, and very soon everything that he'd longed for would be within his grasp.

The sun was at its highest point in the sky as they emerged from the shrine, blinding after having been enveloped by darkness for what seemed like hours.  Together they sailed upon rowboats to shore, where they would enter the city of Mystras and hold and audience with Lord Raiden.

The Lord's villa was splendid, smaller than Alderon's castle and yet more luxurious.  The king merely cracked a grin as they followed the Infiltrator up a flight of marble steps leading up the the villa's foyer, being greeted by servants and even more splendor.  Whether Neena was still on the premises to witness their arrival ultimately rested upon her willingness to wait around, or if she decided to reconsider Raiden's offerings.  Either way, Alderon was on high alert when he thought he saw a shadow dart away in the courtyard upon their entrance.  Did they have enemies, even here?

"Stay alert," Alderon murmured softly to Draksis, his own hand resting at the hilt of his own sword.  "They are our friends, but you never know when something may be amiss."

Curvis eyed the floating chandelier above in awe as they proceeded down the hall, hardly noticing where they were heading or what the king had voiced.  No concerns were present within the mind of the young man.  It felt, to him, that he was on the vacation of a lifetime and would be witnessing all the sights that only children desired in their childhood fairy tales.  In fact, the brunet nearly walked past them all as they turned into a room off the main hall, to which he darted back to join them in the rear.  the room seemed to be a study, an armchair facing a fire on the opposite end.

The king took a step further into the room, his hands balled into fists as he surveyed with a frown.  The room seemed particularly barren, even if warm and cozy.  "So I would assume that Lord Raiden is to meet us here?" he questioned, though to whom was uncertain.  The Infiltrator seemed to have vanished entirely, leaving but the humans and Soren alone.  Just when Alderon assumed they were alone slight movement could be detected behind the armchair.  Could it be that they were not alone after all?  Could it be Raiden?

--Elia Cabret -- Scouting with Aqua--

As Elia watched Jynn leave a small smile crossed her face.  Yes, it was only right that a prince see to the safety of his kingdom.  Why Elia hated Yevgeni so had only somewhat to do with the way that they were treated back during the attack of the ogres.  It went much farther back, and was far more personal.  She held Yevgeni accountable for what happened to her sister, whom he once claimed to love . . . but looking back, it was probably all false for his own gain.  It always was with him.

Elia listened to Aqua's musing and rubbed her own chin thoughtfully.  "I think everyone's gone except for Baxter and the genie now.  Oh, and little Bherna, too. I hate leaving them alone."  A dull thud interrupted Elia from her small conversation, however, and she noticed Aqua sitting on the ground.  The raven-haired fairy darted over to her, getting down on her knees and placing a hand on Aqua's shoulder.  "Hey, you okay there?  You've got to watch yourself now!"

She helped her friend up off the ground, though her thoughts still dwelt upon Jynn's parting orders.  Their numbers were already small, and none of them were proper soldiers or mages.  They would need to rely on one another's strengths should they encounter any danger, which was why Elia was considering a small veto upon Jynn's request.  She strolled over to Baxter, Rufus, and Bherna, placing her hands on her hips.  "So . . . .  I know I'm not in any position of authority or anything, but we're on our own now.  I want to keep us all safe, and I know the road ahead is going to be rough.  Things are changing, and we all aren't warriors.  I guess what I'm trying to say is, I think we should all stick together and not be apart.  Prince Jynn has asked us to patrol, so why not we all go for a little walk together?"

(Scrap, I'm thinking Elia and co. should encounter Typhon and Mikhail while they are patrolling.  If you are game with this feel free to have them start wandering in this direction and I'll try to band everyone together in my next post)

-Helios, with the siblings and Gel, on the road to Avarice-

Helios could not help but to scoff slightly at the man's attitude. He'd seen his kind before many times kissing up to King Alderon. Venomous snakes who think they're the most beautiful rose among the garden. But Helios didn't care. Not for him anyways. It didn't hit him how possibly dangerous this man could be until the army of iron cladded soldiers strode past them, arms high in the sky along with their flags and banners. With a smug smirk, the noble bid them farewell, leaving an eerie feeling behind for the group to figure out. It was obvious. Something very, very bad was about to happen. Maybe a coup, maybe a war, something. But then again, Helios didn't care. Humanity had been so cruel to him, to his kind. His trust and pity only existed for few now, few who had helped him, few who had showed him kindness and those few were Henry, the siblings, Gel, and a few others here and there. "Let's get to the city. We need no more distractions." Helios insisted, ignoring the golden coins and beginning to walk away down the path to the city entrance. They were already on a path. With an army behind him, despite his intentions, they shouldn't get involved...at least that is what Helios thought about the situation.

-Arthur, with the humans at Raiden's Villa-

Arthur could barely keeps his mind in one place as they entered the villa. Everything was so beautiful, so grand, so normal yet filled with mystery and mystic as of course, they were in a whole other world! So similar so far to the world they knew, yet knowing that it was foreign gave it a sense of mystery that kept Arthur on his toes. He barely watched over his footing, almost tripping once and almost walking into a pillar another time, his eyes glancing all around him, simply wanting to take it all in, see it all, remember all, experience all. But he also had a duty, a duty which he had to remember as he gripped at the hilt of his sword tightly to keep his mind within reality. The room with the fireplace relied a feeling of unease. It was so warm, so cozy, it made someone want to simply lay down on the nearest chair, pick up a book and read until one drifted away into sleep. Yet a presence lingered. They weren't alone.

Jynn Venas-Heading towards Mystras

When the two feys head inside to start their mission, Jynn then commands Melstrome to fly to the city as fast as his wings allow. The pegasus then folds his wings and quickly glides downwards along the side of the mountain. Upon reaching the lowest point of the mountain range, his wings then open up and he begins to fly to the city, which was minutes away.

A few minutes pass, and Jynn and Mel land in the city square. The city was bustling with activity.

Bherna Lao-In her abode in the Mountains near Mystras

Before Bherna got the chance to speak to Baxter and Rufus, Elia advises that everyone goes on a mission together, much to Bherna's excitement. "I can go too!?" She then begins to hop in excitement. She finally got the chance to go on a quest, something that she has always been dreaming about. She then tries to ease everyone's concerns for her. "I may not be as strong as you guys, but I can fight."

(Sorry for short post. I got caught by writer's block.)

~Aqua:Still at Jynn's Place~

Aqua walked a few paces behind Elia." I agree will Elia on this one. No one should be here sitting around,it's better and safer for us all to go. Even more so if someone dangerous really is around." She replied agreeing to Elia's proposal.

It wasn't a bad idea in Aqua's mind and hey if something did happen she could always hand Bherna a teleportation stone. Besides that Aqua alway could understand Bherna eagerness to learn magic. She felt the same way toward learning about the creatures that lived in the Overworld. She could use the training herself." It is up to Baxter since he was tasked with watching over you. If he agrees to this change of plans that is. I've no doubt you can fight, after all you seem like a fierce type of girl." She said to Bherna and was also seeing if Baxter was agreeing to the change of plans.

To be honest ever since she saw that older version of Elia she was more worried about her own fighting. She was even more worried about her magic. She had so many more things she wanted to do and learn and she gets told she was going to die in the near future. She still had yet to talk to Elia about what she saw and was told. The mission, too, seemed to be getting more and more complicated. They were now split into two, maybe there groups with Jynn going off on his own to go after the first group. Yes,this was a hard day for her indeed.

- Maxis - THe Living Armor - Ivany's room -

As shiva entered, she could notice that the room was indeed quite dark, without the main window of the room open, only small bits of light passed through the cracks, SHiva, though a few candles were lit to provide some light, as to why, well, shiva would have to ask that herself.

The most interesting sight Shiva would find would be...Maxis and Ivany casualy playing some sort of board game.

"I walk down the stairs" Maxis said, throwing a twenty sided die forward onto the board as Ivany narrated the outcome. "You roll...a 1! critical failure!, you suddenly forget how to walk, you trip over the stairs and break your neck on the fall, you're dead!" Ivany shouted giggling. To Maxis's dismay.

Maxis was silent, pherhaps in shame or just embarrased, or angry, you couldn't exactly read a suit of armor. "...Dammit." Maxis complained as he quickly perked up his composition as he head the creak of the door. Ivany noticing it as well and acting accordingly.

Maxis was ready for it to be a maid or something, a nice prank would be punishment for intrusion  enough, but much to his surprise it was...Shiva herself. The sight of her not only scared him a bit but also brought...relief? somehow. "O h-hello there!" He spoke in a gleeful tone to Shiva. As Ivany did naught but bow herself to her queen.

"So you felt that as well did you?" Maxis spoke, crossing his arms, "Don't have to tell me twice, where do you wish to go?" Maxis asked, as Ivany looked confused. "I did not feel anything, but alright, while you two leave, what am I to do?"

Maxis glanced at her for a second. "What a Plague doctor does best, go test some formulae, possibly some deadly ones, I have a hunch we'l need it." Maxis spoke in a now serious tone. It was not common for Shiva to speak to him in such an urgent manner, and all the times she did...someone needed to be put down...for good.

As Ivany promptly left the room, Maxis was now alone with Shiva. "What is it that you wish to do my dear?"

Before Shiva could speak, Maxis looked down for a second, 'Life...dreams...hope...where do they come from and where do they go?' 'Huh, classic Kefka' Maxis thought to himself before looking up at Shiva again. This was rather common for him to do.

- Alicia - The Grimoire wielder - Flowering Hyssop -

Alicia remained quiet inside the tavern, alongside Yevgeni, glancing, looking around, always alert and ready in case anything happened, all the while trying to look inconspicuous as she ordered a light drink. Even though she was used for heavy drinking, naturaly resistant to alcohol, there was nothing better to warm up on a cold night of winter during her travels, but alast, this was not winter, and ordering too strong a drink might not cause the best of impressions to the people in the tavern.

Alicia noticed the kitsune as well, and frowned, she did not like them too much, she understood their shapeshifting abilities well, polymorphy was a rare magic, and a passive trait of these fox beings, no doubt they were finding work under Raiden, considering the fact that they were shunned in all other cities and states in the overworld.

"They're up to something alright...kitsunes work for Raiden, they don't find work anywhere else but here and other cities Raiden has control over." She whispered to Yevgeni taking a sip of her drink while keeping on the lookout for anything else.

- Draksis - The Black knight  - And Alastor - The Storm Ruler -

Draksis remained mostly silent, even though he expressed some awe and praise over the architecture of the feys and Raiden's villa in general, the place seemed peaceful, but his years of experience did not allow him to feel completely at ease, something was up, and they were there on business, not a social meeting. Constantly shifting his gaze, alert and ready to jump at the defense of his king without a second thought in a moment's notice.

Draksis remained with a serious expression as he entered the barren room alongside Alderon and the others, supposedly where they were supposed to meet Raiden. "Might be" Draksis muttered.

As Alastor walked into the scene in a bright puff of smoke and lightning as he had finished telling the guards, sentries and the rest what to do.

"Seems like I am just in time. They're here" Alastor spoke, wearing his full armor and helmet, with his swords in their respective sheaths.

Draksis frowned. "We were told we would meet Raiden." Draksis spoke. "Who are you?" He asked Alastor in a rather serious tone. Albeit not sounding very vulgar.

"Who am I is of no concern to you, and yes, you shall speak to Raiden, but with my presence" Alastor replied back to Draksis in his normal, rude yet serious and imposing tone, his voice echoing under his helmet. Before eyeing Alderon. Yet staying quiet, as he awaited Raiden. One could feel Alastor's imposing aura even if they were not magical in nature, the very room spiked with a bit of electricity the moment Alastor entered it, enough for everyone to feel it. To ensure that they didn't have any ideas, and that they were not at home.

- Mikhail and Typhon - Witcher and Bug man - Walking around the forest -

"So My bard friend buys me a sword, considering my pair's sudden disappearance, which please do not ask me how they vanished, he preached about how I could not go without a blade and took upon himself to buy one." Mikhail continued one of his stories as he walked alongside Typhon. Moving his hands in gestures by habit.

"And what happened to the sword?" Typhon asked, As Mikhail chuckled. "Naturaly it snapped in half the first parry I threw" Mikhail spoke. As Typhon chuckled alongside him, Mikhail sensed someone coming, putting his hand in front of Typhon, "Someone's coming this way." Mikhail spoke. "A man, a woman...possibly some more people as well." Mikhail spoke. putting his senses to good work. As Typhon's eyes turned into a yellow coloration, signifying caution.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop
"Some bread and eggs would be fine for me," Rabiyu answered the young redhead, "And some water too, thank you."
The Elf noticed Yevgeni's eyes looking directly towards the two men from before, and while Rabiyu didn't turned around, she was listening to what they were saying. Those two knew something about Raiden, perhaps something to do with the magical wave from before. Rabiyu then looked at the retreating young man and noticed his bushy tail.
"I agree with Alicia. It would be wise to be careful around him, or any of his kind," she said quietly to Yevgeni, "The Kitsune aren't too fond of the Queen, if my memory is not mistaken. Discretion is advised in this case. We must take into consideration that we are inside enemy territory before we make any sudden..."
The High Elf then felt something strange, yet familiar. A very familiar presence among all others magical sources inside the city.
"Lord Yevgeni," Rabiyu whispered, "It seems that his Highness, Prince Jynn, decided to forget the order he gave us and instead come to the city on his own. Something made him change his mind, perhaps someone from the group?"

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - road to Avarice
The Siblings were looking at the retreating carriage of the Duke, along with the raiders.
"How strange," Aurion said flatly, "Something is not right with that man, and surely not with those soldiers."
Aura was looking around while a few soldiers passed by.
"Agreed. Something big is going to happen soon," she said, "the question is what? It is quite obvious that that man is involved somehow."
The younger sibling stared at silver and gold pieces for a few seconds before shaking her head.
"He is traveling to Sondon, perhaps with intentions of talking with the King," Aura said, "He also mentioned something about her royal "Highness". Something about his attitude make me think he is planning something concerning the Queen of Helvadoria."
Aurion slowly looked at his sister, his brow slowly raising.
"Are you thinking about a coup?" Aurion asked, "That is something serious, Aura. If that suspicious turns to be true then...the Kingdom of Sondon would swallow the Kingdom of Helvadoria, giving the King a lot more power than before. In any case, Henry is our priority for now, let us go to the city and wait for him."
Without another word, the siblings followed Helios.

Jynn Venas-Mystras

As Jynn dismounts Mel, an incredibly powerful aura radiates around them. But this was something Jynn has sensed before. He then looks to the direction of Isopolis. "No....... somebody activated the shrine again!" He then looks at Raiden's Villa. "This has gone on long enough. I must pay Raiden a visit." Just as he walks forward, he remembers the strength of Lord Raiden. "No, no, no, Jynn.........." He pauses. He then remembers his mother's stories about his grandfather. He stares at the villa quietly. "I wonder what my grandfather would've done........"

He then shops for paper and a pen. On the paper he writes:

Mother,

I believe we might be in trouble. The shrine has once again been activated, and I have yet to hear from my allies about Raiden. I needed to go to Mystras myself to aid in our investigation.

As he puts the pen down, the disturbance he felt back at his abode earlier strikes him again, but this time, it was close, very close. He then adds to the letter:

Also, I am sensing a disturbing aura in the city, this is something that I must check out as well.

Your son, Jynn

Jynn was not one to write a brief letter, but the situation was now becoming serious. Jynn rolls up the paper, and hands it to Melstrome. "Give this to mother as quickly as you can!" The pegasus holds on to the letter and takes to the air heading to Kilkes Seres.

~Aqua:Inside Jynn's House~

Aqua quickly blushed. "I'm not old enough for a child and she isn't Elia's. Just keep this hush hush okay? Her name is Bherna and she's Jynn's adopted daughter. She mustn't have gotten the chance to tell you that you were tasked with watching her whilst the 'Prince' was off checking on the other members of the group whom he sent ahead of us. He should be back in not to long." She informed the Baxter.

She looked at both Bherna and Elia waiting for their responses. All the while she was drumming her fingers on both hands on her legs. She didn't do well when there was people she didn't know. She had asked to go on this mission and was prepared for having to make small talk or report in to Jynn. However she had never planned for everyone to split up and wasn't to fond of the idea of it. Spilting up meant she'd have to talk to other group members more. Not that the spilt was an all bad idea.

She,herself was having rather mixed feeling about the trip. On the one hand it was a good way to go to an otherwise off limits place on the other was the fact that everything was going wrong with this trip. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to be on this mission anymore. "No,I'm here now. Don't let a bad feeling and being nervous get the better of you. I'm doing fine,I even used magic. That poor dull Troll...no don't think about that either!" She picked the pace up on her finger tapping.
