Last week, we started a competition where the winner would receive a free pre-order for Kingdom Hearts 3D! We have now selected the winner of this competition, Ashlee on Facebook! Congratulations! But for now, a surprise...

We're going to run a second competition! Yes, we had so much fun running the first that we're going to give away a second free pre-order for Kingdom Hearts 3D! The rules this time will be different. In order to enter the competition, you must make posts on our forum. The more you post, the better the chance you have of winning! Here's the exact proceedure:

1. At the end of each day, everyone in the top 10 of the list of the day's top posters will receive 1 entry in the competition.

2. You can receive many entries in the competition! If you're on the top posters list on multiple days, then you will receive multiple entries in the competition. We'll keep a detailed list of entries here. Remember, the more days you appear on the list, the higher your chance of winning! Also, please be aware that the Roleplaying, Forum Games, Random and Comments forums are not included, and that we will disqualify anyone who makes "spammy" posts.

3. Two weeks from now, on Friday the 15th of June, 2012 (at 12PM EST time), we'll pick a random winner from the list of entries and contact them. Good luck!

    I hit 5,500 posts about 25 - 26 hours ago.

    It's definitely been interesting.

     

    Seems a lot post counts will go up quite a bit with this.

    In order to get an entry, you simply have to post a lot. If your efforts prove to be enough, your name will appear in that 'Today's top posters', you just have to post a lot and go check if you're in the top 10. But try to keep up there, because it's easy to get from the 10th to the 20th with everyone posting as if there's no tomorrow

    ...Having post counts is kinda... a cheap way of winning. Sure you get KH3D, but for either liking them on facebook or upping the post count, it seems all a bit... soulless.

    I'd find it much better from my perspective if there were effort put into 'gaining these prizes'. I am not going on a criticise KH13 extravaganza, because after all, I get at companies like Ubisoft and Eidos for making us do the whole "Like them on Facebook, see a trailer" tactic, which is what KH13 is going for. But then, i'm the type of person who like to run these things like "contribute the best fan art", "look for an easter egg", write "Why is Kingdom Hearts your favourite title" and allow people to make essays out of it.

     

    That's what I mean. Have fans with the passion for KH to grab these prizes instead of using soulless, corporation tactics like "Up the post count" and "Like them on Facebook".

     

    Just my two pence on that.

    We'll have a few competitions like this later on. :) I have some ideas for what I'd like to do with more "creative" competitions, but for now I'm getting the "soulless" ones out of the way, as they are unfortunately the most beneficial. :P

    Oh I can understand why you have to do it. Just my rambling, that's all.

     

    Speaking of which, do the winners get KH3D dependent on their region, Like for example, if a person from Europe won, do they get a European copy... because region locks and all?
