One, I could have told you that it would support the Pro, and I am just an average person. Two, not everyone can afford a 4K TV, so not everyone actually can experience KH in 4K, so nope I am not excited for this news because I am one of the people who can't afford 4K at the moment.

While it may be a long time before I can experience 4K, I am excited at the prospect of playing everything in 60 FPS, after experiencing DDD HD. I can't remember though, did they ever confirm that they would try to have Pro support 0.2 with 60 FPS as well or is that all just hypothetical right now? Cause that game would be so amazing at that rate.

It does run at 60fps on the PS4 Pro I do believe. From the footage I've seen at least.

Ugh, I plan on getting the Pro some day, then the Switch has to show up and be all awesome and everything. Well, all in due time I guess.

What about that they can afford it but they have the original PS4 and don't like changing.

Thank God, this won't affect the frame rate on standard PS4. I was a little afraid after what happened with 0.2. xD

Peace!

Doubt KH3 will run at 60fps on the standard PS4 so it may have the same issue. It may not run at 60fps on the Pro either tbh

It's great to see that all four games in the collection will actually run at 60 FPS on the standard PS4!  Dream Drop Distance has been a very smooth experience, so far, minus some glitchy movement controls (it may be the left stick on my controller, not really sure).  Either way, I'm definitely excited to play the re-re-releases on PS4, as I do not plan to get a Pro anytime soon.

This is exactly why i bought a Pro to begin with. 60FPS on games like KH and FF should be standard IMO. It'll be interesting to see how much better KH3 runs on Xbox Scorpio compared to PS4 Pro since the scorpio has 2 more TFLOPS than the pro

Thanks for sharing this with us, Shinobi!

Wow, so all the playable games in 1.5+2.5 ReMix will run at 60fps? That's pretty darn impressive! I can't wait to see how smooth the gameplay will look! :D

yo it just hit me this game comes out in under two months and we have yet to get a gameplay trailer.

Give Square Enix time. They'll eventually release something. Besides, every game in the collection has been released twice so there's not much to show that's already been shown.

Actually there isn't necessarily 4K support in 2.8 (not in 0.2). The PS4 runs at 900p in 30 FPS while on the Pro it runs 1080p with an unlocked frame rate that is generally between 50-60. (Unless your talking about the TV upscaling, which imo, does make a difference if the console itself upscales or outputs native 4K for a much sharper IQ)

Nevertheless I look forward to finally having all the games on one console. I'm curious to see what improvements the Pro wil have over Vanilla PS4 since it's confirmed to fun 60fps on base PS4. Maybe locked 60? Possible 4K support (I expect upscale)? Improved textures? Guess we'll find out soon since we aren't far off from that releasing.
