Square Enix has announced that a Collector's Edition for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be released in the United States, United Kingdom, and France. A limited quantity of the Collector's Edition will be available, able to be pre-ordered through the official Kingdom Hearts website for US$99.99.

The Collector's Edition contains the following:

- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX game discs

 

- Collector's Steelbook Case

The steelbook case contains both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX discs and features premium artwork from the series Director, Tetsuya Nomura.

 

- Collector's Edition Box

 

- Shadow Heartless Plush Toy

9.4 inch tall plush of the classic Kingdom Hearts foe.

 

- Exclusive Disney collectible pin

Features Sora and Mickey Mouse back to back, with the iconic keyblade with Mickey dangler. Made out of a soft enamel coating on metal, this pin’s height stretches out to 1.68 inches.

 

- 30-Page Art Book and Dust Jacket

This art book includes an exclusive foreword and a sketch from Nomura, along with art from the series.

    Bullshit, is what I say! I'm afraid it's REGION BLOCKED, so every place that's not France, UK and USA can't order this! 

     

    What the firetruck, seriously?! I've been a fan since I was a kid! Ordered 3Ds, Days and 1.5 from Amazon.co.uk and the rest from common shops!

    tbh I still think #squarebefair applies ... just being skeptical, unless that "Collector's Box" is made of the premium material that Japan's Collector's Pack is (or better), it shouldn't be a "bullet" in the list of contents in the Collector's Edition. And the steelbook ... I mean, it's great, but they are recycling artwork that was made back in 2007 for the cover so it's not like it's anything thaaat special. The Heartless Shadow plushie, I believe, was released by Square Enix in Japan before - please correct me if I am wrong - so in that sense, it's also nothing "new". Then the artbook, which SHOULD have been included in the Limited Edition of 2.5 instead of the keychain imo, follows what Square Enix did for 1.5's Limited Edition, which was a step forward at the time imo.

     

    Don't get me wrong, I still preordered this since KH2FM is probably one of, if not the best game I have ever played, and for them to release a(ny) Collector's Edition for it definitely got me. But it's just, compared to everything Japan gets, the rest of the world doesn't get nearly as much love overall. I just hope, moving forward, we'll see more love for the worldwide fans...

     

    I also think Disney in North America should be more proactive in promoting the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Maybe then would they actually consider better Collector's Edition items with more popularity, even though I personally think the franchise has lots of traction worldwide already --- to the extent that if anyone visited a DisneyWorld or Land with a KH ride, probably 70-80% of the Millennials to younger generations would know what franchise the ride comes from.

    I've only found a Japanese website which ships worldwide. It's the Japanese version though. 

     

    I think you could ship it from the U.S somehow.

    Well in Germany they are (if someone wants to update that i can provide a link if necessary I got the info from jpgames and amazon). I don't know about us/uk though

    You can't order there only uk. Shopto is here the only option for now.

    Are you sure? I had to pay an extra 3 pounds for international shipping, but I had no problems ordering. Their site also mentions that they ship internationally, but please tell me if I missed something.

    Positive. The payment can't be completed.

    See if you can track your order it must be in the list if you have ordered.

    On youtube there are also few who can't order from game uk.

    It seems to have accepted my payment; it only says "unshipped", but I expected that. I did use paypal, so maybe the payment just hasn't processed yet.

    Cancelled my LE gamestop preorder and preordered this this morning! Too bad about the regions that aren't getting it, though, but unfortunately Square doesn't pay much attention to them compared to Japan, UK, and North America.
