Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX to contain all-new secret movie, reveals Dengeki Online review

Dengeki Online have posted the first review for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, which releases in Japan on October 2, 2014. In this review, it is revealed that the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded HD Cinematic Videos will contain an all-new secret movie. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded on the Nintendo DS already contained a secret movie leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, but in the HD collection, if you look at all of the cutscenes, a *second* secret movie will be unlocked, said to be completely new and a must-see for fans!

Square Enix have updated the official Japanese website for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX with a page to share these reviews.

Translator goldpanner has completely translated this portion of the review, and with a big thanks to her, it can be seen below.

In the DS version of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded there was a secret movie that was a pull towards KH 3D [Dream Drop Distance], which is of course included in this title too. Furthermore, and this is between you and us, but if you look at all the cutscenes you'll see there's a second secret movie... It's a completely new cutscene of content that's a must-see for fans, so please check it out with your own two eyes!

It's gonna be hard to avoid this spoiler.

OMG They lied about a secret movie in that old interview lmao

It's possible Yasue didn't know about it then, though that depends on his role relative to the creation of pre-rendered movies.

I'd love for it to be a CG secret ending like KH/FM and KH2/FM had, but it'll probably be an in-game graphics one

Still looking forward to seeing what it is though.

Consider me meh.

I've seen the secret movie off Re:coded: I wasn't majorly impressed.

Nice, I feel much more excited about 2.5 than I did when 1.5 was close to being released last year. I loved the gameplay for KH2 and BBS was the best game overall in the series and along with a new secret trailer, I'll definitely look forward to buying 2.5 asap.
