Raxaimus

The new Kingdom Hearts III theme song by Utada Hikaru, titled “Chikai”, meaning "Oath" in Japanese, was revealed at the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event at D23 Expo Japan 2018. The English version of this song is titled "Don't Think Twice". "Chikai" played during Kingdom Hearts III Theme Song Trailer revealed at the event; you can watch and listen to both songs below.

"Chikai" will be included in Utada Hikaru's seventh studio album, due to release this year.

You can also watch and listen to the Kingdom Hearts III Theme Song Trailer with English subtitles and "Don't Think Twice" playing in the background.

I love the new song. After all these years of Simple and Clean and My Sanctuary, I think it is a nice change. Oath could be my new favorite KH Intro song.

somehow I think this is not the only theme song for the game, more of ending song. For KH3 they should have at least 2 songs.

another theme song for opening, perhaps?

Where's the Japanese version with Chikai (Oath)? Let's not forget that Hikari (Light) and Simple and Clean in KH1 are different songs and Passion and Sanctuary are different songs in KH2.

The General Difference is that Oath is about a Wedding

Thank you once again, Raxaimus, for informing us about this!

Dang, the minute that I heard Utada's new song come into play, I got goosebumps! What I love about this song is that it has a more somber and sad tone compared to Simple And Clean and Sanctuary, and since we're at a point in the series where the stakes are high for Sora and friends, it's more than understandable why the new theme song should represent the dire situation they're in! GAHHH, THE FEELS, THE HYPE! :D
