With Gamescom coming next month on August 5th through August 9th, Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Kingdom Hearts series is confirmed to appear at Gamescom and will be answering questions from fans and taking pictures. Guests will also receive an autograph and win exclusive prizes in a very exclusive event in which only 50 people will be able to attend. The event will take place on Friday, August 7th during Gamescom. This meet with Yoko Shimomura will be a lead up to the Final Fantasy XV presentation by Square Enix, but fans will be able to ask her any questions, such as questions relating to the Kingdom Hearts series. The event is going to take place at the Square Enix Products booth (Hall 5.1 - C012). If you're interested in attending the event with Yoko Shimomura, you will need to email [email protected] with the subject "SEP Meet & Greet".

    I wish I could go there, and have the opportunity to ask about if she's going to make the Kingdom Hearts III theme song..... C'mon guys, this is the best chance to get an answer from her about this, somebody must do this....

    I'd love to meet her too as she is one of my greatest persons of inspiration for making music;

    but I'd feel guilty for remixing her music without her permission

    Any word on Utada Hikaru doing the opening this time around? Not that I'm against it and I know it's practically the signature for the series, but they have been using Simple & Clean quite a bit. I'm hoping for a new track. As for Shimomura it goes without saying, the series wouldn't be the same without her.
