Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind releases on January 23rd, 2020 for PlayStation 4, and February 25th, 2020 for Xbox One!
The new Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC trailer, previously teased at the Osaka show of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World of Tres - tour, is now available to view as an unlisted video on the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel. You can watch it below!
This trailer showcases several new features that will be available as part of Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind:
The inclusion of Final Fantasy characters, including Squall/Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith Explorable Scala Ad Caelum Playable Kairi A battle sequence where the Guardians of Light clash with the Xehanort vessels. The three available commands are Attack, Aerial Dodge and Reflega. Several new boss battles are shown, including more Organization XIII battles, as well as a battle against what seems to be a recolored version of Dark Inferno New story sequences, including: Riku traveling to Radiant Garden to find Sora Sora and Aqua standing against several clones/visions(?) of Dark Aqua, implied by Sora to be the embodiment of Aqua's despair Demyx appearing before Riku in the Keyblade Graveyard Sora unlocking Riku's Dive to the Heart Sora and Kairi together in the Final World Sora meeting Yozora in a night-time scene in the Final World UPDATE: The unlisted trailer has been made private. We will not be sharing this trailer again until Square Enix have officially released it.

PlayStation have announced that they will broadcast their final State of Play episode for the year on Tuesday, December 10, at 6:00 AM PST / 9:00 AM EST / 2:00 PM GMT!
You can watch live on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.
The stream will be 20 minutes long and will include new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more. However, the announcement clarifies that fans should not expect any updates on their next-generation plans.

Kingdom Hearts III has received the Platinum Prize at the PlayStation Awards 2019 for selling an accumulated shipment quantity (including download quantity) of over 1 million copies in Japan and Asian regions! The award was presented by Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and received by the series' former exectuive producer Shinji Hashimoto and current executive producer Ichiro Hazama. During the ceremony, the PlayStation Awards band also played a short, custom arrangement of Chikai, Kingdom Hearts III's theme song!

Hashimoto thanked fans for their support and was excited to celebrate this big win on the 25th anniversary of PlayStation. He said:

The other winners of the Platinum Prize were NieR: Automata, God of War, Marvel's Spider Man, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Previously, Kingdom Hearts II won a Platinum Prize in 2006 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep received the Gold Prize for selling over 500,000 units in Japan in 2010. They were featured in today's awards show as a nod back to past winners.

PlayStation Awards is a ceremony recognizing hit game titles sold in PlayStation format. The PlayStation Awards have been held every year since the inception of PlayStation in 1994, with this year marking both the 25th Awards and the 25th anniversary of PlayStation. This year's awards show took place at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan.

Square Enix have revealed their initial line-up for Jump Festa 2020 on their site. The line-up includes Final Fantasy VII Remake, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy Brave Exvias, War of the Visions Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle Remaster, and Holy Sword Legend 3:Trials of Mana. 
Kingdom Hearts III isn't listed at the current time, but the line-up is subject to change. Jump Festa 2020 runs from December 21st to December 22nd.

Chapter 6 for the Kingdom Hearts III manga is now available in English from Yen Press. Olympus Coliseum can be bought as a digital download from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BookWalker, ComiXology, Google Play, iBooks, and Kobo. The issue's price varies from $1.99 for the United States.

Chapter 6 was released in Japanese on Gangan Online back on November 20th. Chapter 7 is planned to release on Gangan Online on December 19th.

Makio Inoue, the Japanese voice actor of Master Eraqus, has passed away at the age of 81. His passing was announced earlier today and his cause of death has not been revealed. 
Makio Inoue was born on November 30th, 1938 in Yamanashi, Japan. His acting career lasted from 1954 until 2019. His two well recognized roles were Captain Harlock in the late 1970's to 1998, when Kōichi Yamadera, the current voice of Donald Duck, took over, and Goemon Ishikawa XIII for Lupin III, who he took over for Chikao Ōtsuka [the former voice of Master Xehanort] from 1977 to 2011, who was succeeded by Daisuke Namikawa [the current voice of Young Master Eraqus].
Rest in peace, Mr. Inoue and thank you for your contribution as Master Eraqus. Enjoy your time with Chikao Ōtsuka and May your Heart be your Guiding Key.
 
Kingdom Hearts III has picked up a nomination for Best Character Animation in a Video Game for the 47th annual Annie Awards. The other nominees include Gears 5 - Cinematic Animation, Sinclair Snake: Museum Mischief, and Unruly Heroes.
The Annie Awards will be held on Saturday January 25th, 2020 at Royce Hall on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California. More details will be available soon.
On December 30th of this year, Kingdom Hearts branded card wafers will be going on sale in Japan! There are four types of Kingdom Hearts illustrations featured on these card wafers, ranging from character cards, visual cards, stage cards, and story cards. 

Yes, these card wafers are indeed edible as well! They are made upon order and cost about 120 yen or around 1 USD to make. If you're in Japan at this time, maybe you'll end up finding some of these in Japanese convenience stores!
