  1. I wanted to make this topic to point out the differences between Japanese reviewers like Famitsu and English reviewers like IGN. I don't have time to go and put every link for the reviews, but here are some quotes. Kingdom Hearts 3D Famitsu- "I love the drop system! There are times when you drop in a boss battle, and it makes you try even harder to beat the boss as fast as you can! IGN: "I like the drop system, although it can get pretty annoying when you drop in a boss battle, they should have changed that." Final Fantasy XIII Famitsu- "Even though the game is pretty straightforward, the luscious, beautiful environments always give you something to look at." IGN: "The game is too linear, and the environments aren't that great to look at because the camera is terrible." Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Famitsu- "I love how Square Enix put in more of my favorite songs and characters, it feels like a new experience!" IGN: "The game just feels like an expansion pack, although there are new elements, it's not worth it buying the game a second time." I remembered reading in an article somewhere that western reviewers are very harsh, like on movies, television, and video games. While most reviewers in the east are very grateful for what is given to them, even if it's not that good. It just shows the difference in how we look at things. I wonder if it changes the public we view things as well? We're too scared to try out a video game or watch a movie because we don't want to waste our time if it's bad, so we let other people do it. But we may be missing out on something we would really enjoy. What is your opinion?
  2. Actually Cyberman65 uploaded a video like this and some songs in BBS are remastered.
  3. Hey, does anyone know where I can find a walkthrough for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix? I can't find any on YouTube. Are there any that have even been uploaded yet?
  4. I personally love the game! It's so addictive!
  5. Sweet! Thanks for posting! They even offer some free DLC from time to time, so keep checking back regularly!
  6. Yeah, I've never gotten anything ordered from Amazon JP. I've used PlayAsia, but it does take time for them to get their copies in stock. I wouldn't worry about it. It sucks, but you have to be patient.
  7. This is my friend who thinks he can rap. Just take a listen... I don't want to discourage him, but this is just... just um... You guys listen. https://soundcloud.com/lil-dayne/drug-problem
  8. I think it's a great game! This is probably why Square Enix doesn't sell final mix's in other territories, it's because most people view them as expansion packs instead of a different experience.

  10. I'm not sure. Remember, most Kingdom Hearts fans in other terrorizes other than Japan may not even know what Kingdom Hearts X even is. So for them to make a connection to it in 2.5 seems illogical. I believe it connects to KH3 though.
  11. This might also confirm that Lightning is in FF 15 as well!
  12. I'm glad we are finally getting news! Time to show this game was worth the wait!
  13. I think Final Fantasy X was a great game with many wonderful characters! I like the characters from any Final Fantasy game, they're so unique and different.
  14. Tell me what you think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NclYv1wZugE
  15. FF15 first. It wouldn't look good on Square's part if they released KH3 first because FF15 has been in development for so long.
  16. COM was my favorite Kingdom Hearts game until Kingdom Hearts 2 came out. The fact that I had Kingdom Hearts in the palm of my hand on the go and could play anytime I wanted was amazing! Ugh, I miss childhood.
  17. So I basically just took the footage from the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 trailers. I think the game looks gorgeous! I can't wait to play it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKRAu5ISkUI
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wr9TXNQge9Y
  19. 1.) Tales of Xillia 2.) Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch 3.) Valkyria Chronicles 4.) Kingdom Hearts 1.5 5.) Final Fantasy XIII-2
  20. According to Christian Today, Final Fantasy's XV's main programmer left Square Enix. There's no confirmation as to why he left, but this is sure to delay the game until the position is filled. What are your thoughts on this news? Here's the original post: http://www.christiantoday.com/article/final.fantasy.xv.release.date.delayed.lead.programmer.leaves.square.enix/40118.htm
  21. WHAT!? You have to buy the New New 3DS in order to play Xenoblade...
  22. If a video game is fun, I'll play it, period. It doesn't matter what platform its for or who the target audience is.
  23. I have been playing video games for a long time, before I even had the internet. Video games, when I was younger, meant a lot more to me because it was completely up to me to figure out how to beat them. I was looking at a forum the other day of someone who spoiled themselves on a Kingdom Hearts game they were unable to beat, and I was stunned. Think about it, how many times have you or someone you know, get stuck in a video and automatically look up the answer on the internet? Because of the internet, most gamer's don't try to figure out the boss battle for themselves, instead they look up how to beat it online. Even when games come out in Japan before other territories, people will look at the ending and spoil the game for themselves before they even play it. That's not to say that if you spoil something for yourself, you won't be able to enjoy it, but at the same time there's something fulfilling about figuring out the process for yourself. What do you guys think about this happening with current generation gamer's? And for those of you who have been playing as long as I have, are you shocked by how many people just look up the answer online instead of trying to figure it out for themselves?
