		Would you cosplay?

If I had the money to buy a really good looking costume then probably. And I swear cosplay conventions are practically Organization 3000. The amount of people cosplaying in Org XIII cloaks is too damn high.

Wouldn't it be nice if the entire world spoke one language?

If globalization continues at it's current rate and isn't limited by a massive war or natural disaster, something that derives from English will most likely become the official language of the world. It's already happening in a lot of places. For example in the Philippines, the native language is merged with English and almost everything is written in English. The reason why we have different languages is because different cultures developed virtually independent of each other. Over the course of hundreds of years, technology in communications and transportation has been merging everyone together. 100 years ago it would be rare for someone to live in one town and work in another, now that's the norm. In fact, many people commute 50 to 300 miles every day to get to work. Give us another 100 years of technological improvement and it would be fairly common for someone to live in London, and have a short one hour commute to work across the Atlantic to New York City. More or less, English will become the language of the world when this happens, foreign language classes wouldn't be teaching German or Spanish, but rather some weird fusion of German and English or Spanish and English. While some fear this death of different and diverse language the end result would be much better. Everyone in the world being more or less on the same page with language would allow for unprecedented growth in economics, technology, and diplomatic relations.

		The Half-Life/Portal Universe Fanclub

That would make sense, but then who the heck is GLaDOS talking about? The only major threat to the Enrichment Center that we know of would have to be the Combine. Black Mesa is more or less gone by the events of portal, so there can only be one major threat to Aperture.

		The Half-Life/Portal Universe Fanclub

Speaking of Portal and Half Life being in the same universe, there's always a major plot hole that bothered me. Portal takes place some time during the events of Half Life, and GLaDOS makes a reference to the invasion as she tries to convince you to stop killing her (and die to the nuerotoxin). She says something along the lines of "I'm the only thing standing in between us and them." "Them" being the Combine. Assuming GLaDOS wasn't lying, how come the Combine didn't destroy/loot Aperture Science? Chell created a nasty hole in the ceiling, they would easily be able to enter without GLaDOS to stop them and they have plenty of reason to enter because of Apertures advanced Portal technology, AI technology, and Robotics technology. Even though Aperture is in disrepair in Portal 2, that's only because of the years that have gone by (several hundred thousand of them to be exact). However, once GLaDOS get's back online she is able to restore the place to it's former glory in about an hour. Clearly the Combine didn't enter facility as it's pretty much intact. Even when it's in disrepair, the robot factory is still operating as well as most of the AI systems, stasis fields, testing chambers, and the main reactor. I know it's probably not really a big deal, but that plot hole has always been bugging me. Unless there's another force at work in Aperture that was able to keep the Combine out (ratman?), they should of completely taken over the facility and looted it's technology.

Organization XIII kind of represents The Illuminati

Except that's not what the Illuminati is at all. The Illuminati is a secret society much like the Free Masons that's been officially dead since the 1800s. It was revived some time ago but it's hardly secret, anyone can join if they want to. Not only are you citing the Illuminati conspiracy wrong, but you're citing the wrong conspiracy.

		The Legend of Korra

It's just so contrived and ludicrous even if it was briefly mentioned before. I like the energy bending concept, but I wish Aang learned it another way. You know what would be awesome? Aang getting a spirit visit from his former mentor. I'm pretty sure the last time that guy is even mentioned is when he's a skeleton in book 1. I know I'm just yelling "I WANT THE SHOW MY WAY" but I think it would be really cool and heartful if Aang had one last lesson from his mentor, how to energy bend, and an actual lesson on it, not just the guy touching his forehead and BAM powers! But like an actual lesson or something.

Wii U Basic Set No Longer Sold In Stores

Nintendo has lately adopted the strategy of making the console first, and the games later. The original Wii even suffered from a lack of decent titles for about a year, but its motion control managed to give mass appeal. The problem with the Wii U is that people have seen tablets before. To the public the Wii U just looks like a tablet you can connect to your TV. We all know its more but most people don't. Then actual gamers aren't very excited due to the lack of a lot of AAA games. Then there's the fact that the system's hardware was outdated two years before it even came out, which is unappealing to both developers and gamers. While I actually do like the Wii U, I can't imagine it lasting more than three or four years. It just won't stay competetive against the Xbox One and PS4, and both of those are going to have trouble competing with the increasingly growing PC market. The big three need to change their attitude about gaming. Sony and Microsoft need to cut out all the bullshit, and Nintendo had to pick up the pace or I fear console gaming will be dead by 2020

A Giant Lion Turtle... A GIANT LION TURTLE?

		The Legend of Korra

Well to be fair, Avatar sometimes has deus ex machina resolutions. Like the giant spirit fish, or the lion turtle. They were deus ex machina, but they were still badass. The whole "and then Korra suddenly airbends" is really ridiculous. I feel like the writers wrote themselves into a corner. They wanted to bring Amon as close to victory as possible and then have him defeated to make things more dramatic. Problem is, Amon already won. The city is completely under is control, and he takes away the Avatars bending and is about to take away Mako's. How the hell are they supposed to turn things around? Make Korra randomly unlock her airbending, screw it. Also, how did Korra's bending get taken away in the first place? Why didn't she go into the Avatar state? The avatar state is a defense mechanism, so why didn't it freaking defend her? It defended Aang when Yakone almost took away his bending! What would of been much better is if Korra went into the avatar state and had a really badass and explosive battle to the death with Amon. Imagine the two, fighting in the stadium, using their extreme bending prowess to tear it apart as they try to do each other in. Also, even if Amon is defeated, how does that stop the Equalist? Sure they lost some momentum because their leader was a fraud, but that still doesn't change the fact that the Equalist still really hate benders. To rid the world of bending, instead of having bender's powers removed, they would merely do something Nazi like. Stop benders from reproducing, hell maybe even have them killed off. Not saying I would want that, but having the Equalist defeated so quickly and abruptly just seems forced and doesn't make any sense. firetrucking hell, you could have future episodes about Korra and her friends leading an underground resistance to have the Equalist removed from power, sort of like what we saw from the last episode. How awesome would that be?

		Deus Ex Machina

A Deus Ex Machina is "a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem is suddenly and abruptly resolved, with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability, or object". However, in ancient Greek, the term describes a giant crane used to lift up actors. The characters in Toy Story 3 are saved by both definitions of Deus Ex Machina. I just blew your minds.

		The Legend of Korra

That's because Mako is a scumbag and Korra is a bit of a bitch. I'm not going to lie, I had a similar situation happen in my circle of friends. Which is why I didn't hesitate to take away Korra's bending. Except that apparently unlocked her airbending, which makes no freaking sense and is a deus ex machina that lead to my forced defeat, but whatever.
