In Psychology, we studied all the types of Depression. I don't think that people understand what depression can do. It interferes with your life to the point where you cannot go on with your days. It can happen after a traumatic event or be hereditary. Everyone has experienced some form of it. Even I do. My mother recently had a TIA and was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation which caused the TIA due to the medicine she was taking that the doctor insisted that she took. She had a seizure because it contains some form of sulfur that she is allergic to. I was there for whole thing and to take her to the hospital. I watched her spiral down and had to take care of her. Then, I had to move eight times in last in last fourteen years. Family issues. etc... I have not been right ever since. My mother's friend has mania depression. She tried to commit suicide a couple months ago. A week before, she seemed fine. but she was not fine. Sometimes, it feels as if maybe the world will be better if you were gone. That is not true, but it feels that way.

A lot of things. My mother just had a mini-stroke about a month ago. College is starting. Had an interview. Everything is catching up with me.
Tootles. I am not supporting the ignorants that are out there harming other people. That is not the other side I am speaking of. I only condone violence as a last resort. If someone tries to fight me, I walk away numerous time, but if they are continuing to fight me, I may have to fight. That is what I mean with fighting. I just cannot articulate what I mean to say and have people understand it they way I intend it. I get frustrated and shut down which what I just did. This happens every time especially on sensitive threads like these.
You know what, I not even going to discuss this anymore after this to refrain from being really rude and ugly to you people. I am not condoning what those who are taking the opportunity for this to be a looting fest. I came here with good intentions to explain why people are fed up and angry. However, we are not on the same page. You guys don't understand where I am coming from. I understand what you are saying, but I understand what they are saying too. I grew up in all white neighborhoods; I made a post about being the only black. Personally, I agree on most of what you guys are saying but also listen to the other side.
What I am saying is that sometimes you have to fight. It is inevitable. You can just turn the other cheek and expect that person to stop. Some people are persistent. This is why war happens. You are sitting playing here pulchrum sanctum, but there is righteous anger out there too. Don't think MLK did not throw any punches either.
Tell that to the KKK that marched in my mother's neighborhood rioting in their neighborhood and killing their brothers and sisters. Tell that to the KKK and other organizations still rioting, gathering, and threatening the minorities and their supporters in the townhalls of Greensboro, NC; Olive Branch, MS; Kokomo, IN; and other places in the country. (I have witnesses and seen) You can only tolerate it for so long. This is what the media does not show you.
Yes, I agree. And, thank you for understanding my post. Very few people on here understand and are very oblivious to what is really going on. Racial discrimination still exists. People act like it does not; however, if a minority or anyone who is not originally from the the USA says something about how they are treated they are 'pulling the race card'. It don't mean to harp on my family, but my ancestors helped built this country for what it is today. My ancestors (many greats) John English was one of the founding members of the Jamestown society and a member of the House of Burgesses who rallied against the unfairness of the King. Barnabas Pope was a English General and his son was a Lewis Pope was a Revolutionary War General fighting along side his cousin who would later become the first president of the United States (George Washington). My grandmother marched with MLK from Selma to Montgomery and fought the KKK and in the Civil Rights movement. My mother is from Selma, Alabama, the heart of the Civil Rights movement. This is not what they dreamed of. I can't go to a store without being judged by my skin color. I can't be smart without someone claiming that I must not be black and asking," Are you part Asian?". Someone says thinks that I am loud because I am black. Some of you don't understand. Please be empathetic at least.

No, you didn't. It is the best thing you could do in high school. Just make sure your University will accept all your credits or you could have to take that course over again or just be placed in a high class and granted no credit hours for those AP classes.
Next week, I start College. A lot of you people here are older than me and have been to college. Some of you are even getting married. I took AP classes in High School, so I only have to take a couple prerequisites which is why I chose to go to community college because they would take all my credits. I doubt college courses are the same as AP courses in terms of rigor. College courses will be harder What will also help is if anybody has transferred to universities from Community College or University to University. Also if anyone is a Life Science major like Biology/Biochemistry can you give insight on rigor. Pre-Med track too. Does anyone attend UNCCH- University of North Carolina Chapel Hill or Duke University?
