I've got plenty of stuff to keep me entertained until release, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious for portable and HD Smash right now.

Wasn't it mentioned that they're only showing the characters we've already seen? I remember hearing that.

I'm not looking into Bayonetta much, so I might be incorrect here, but from what I understand, the game itself just comes with the first game. I don't think you need any special edition or anything.

Groose is the one character I'm really holding out for at this point. Since we've only seen one SS character so far to my knowledge, I think that he's got a really good chance of getting in the game.

Won't it automatically upgrade to the limited edition if you pre-order? Or am I missing something here? For example, are you not going to pre-order it? (I'm just curious, and I might be misunderstanding what you are saying.)

They only said that you get the limited edition if you pre-order on the Square Enix's online store, they didn't say anything about it being at GameStop which makes it seem like you can't get it at GameStop

Well, I pre-ordered it from Amazon when I saw what it said, and the Amazon page talked about the update. I would assume the same is true for GameStop. Of course, I might be wrong on both counts.

That's possible. I still have yet to play Mega Man X, but I'd like to see something from that game in Smash 5. That's thinking a bit too far ahead, though.

I'm a huge fan of X and if he can't be playable this time, then I just have to keep dreaming he is one day. I usually think too far ahead on things anyways, but then something I didn't expect happens and it can be good or bad.
