  1. Personally, I wouldn't mind a 3D Final Mix. They don't take too much extra effort to make, and they usually hint at the future of the series. Actually, I think they might end up making one eventually because of that whole "one game a year" thing. Although I'd still prefer a remake of Days... -shot- But I'd be quite interested in a Final Mix of 3D; maybe we'd learn what the next KH project is that way. Also, as much as I want FM released worldwide, I can understand why they keep it exclusive to Japan. It all started when the U.S.' KH1 got a Sephiroth (and Ice Titan) fight when the Japanese one didn't. Because of that, Square released the first KH Final Mix with that content and even more new stuff. Ever since then, it's been the same. Like how we got a Mysterious Figure fight in BbS and they originally didn't. Also, that whole flashback of Ven's about Terra (after he first meets Vanitas) wasn't in the original Japanese version, either. Anyway, as much as I'd like a FM, I don't see it happening. Mainly because the U.S. and Japan keep trolling each other. At least we're getting some extra content, though. I can be okay with that. America isn't being as left out as some countries (like with the Re: CoM fiasco). I just hope if they ever do HD remasters, they make them the FM versions and just stop all the madness. I mean, they'd make so much money for that. People have been complaining about the Final Mix thing for forever. And this would give people more incentive to buy a game they probably still have, but I digress.
  2. Oh, wow! I'd never heard that, but it's really awesome. As much as I loved Days, I wish that was in the game. That'd have been so cool. @wayfinder823 If anyone's a script whore, it's Naminé. She's been in every KH game besides 1. You can't even say that about Kairi! She's definitely gotten the most screen time out of all KH's girls. She was in BbS' secret ending, CoM (which was mostly about her), Days, KH2, 3D... I think Nomura's in love with her. And by the way, I'm totally joking about all of this Nami talk. LOL. Though I do wonder what ever happened to Kairi being the main girl... -shot-
  3. I'm sorry. I got a little angry, but I get tired of seeing things like this all the time. Whatever the pairings are anymore, I just don't care. That's not what KH is about and it never will be; and these stupid debates are pushing fans apart instead of bringing them together. I just want it to stop. Things like this are making me start to hate KH. I really don't care about the couples anymore and have become numb with a lot of it. They're all just freakin friends, so lets leave it at that. Nomura just likes to troll people with a lot of "what-ifs". As for the AkuRoku thing, I've heard that before, but have never seen any proof. If you could link me to it, that'd be great. Otherwise, I won't believe it. Sorry. And if it is true, it just proves there's nothing going on between Roxas and Axel. Maybe something was originally planned, but it didn't happen. Which I'm actually glad for because Axel is way too old for Roxas in my opinion. Especially Days Roxas... I wouldn't have a problem with Sora and Riku as a pairing if I thought there was a shred of evidence pointing that way. I just don't see their relationship that way; and don't think it's supposed to be taken that way. Neku and Joshua, on the other hand, was actually teased at quite a bit in TWEWY. But even with them, I don't seriously buy it for reasons I've mentioned in another post (that contains TWEWY spoilers). Also, could someone explain to me how to put a spoiler tag? I want to edit my earlier post. Thanks in advance. -Shanna
  4. Oh my gosh, why does everyone think they're gay? They're just best friends! Why can't people just be best friends anymore without someone thinking they're a couple? Really, they're like Cory and Shawn from Boy Meets World (with Kairi being Topanga) or Harry and Ron, or... etc, etc. I mean, honestly. It's clear that Sora has had feelings for Kairi in all of these games (and Nami in CoM). The only problem with the obvious SoKai is that Kairi's character hasn't been developed, so we haven't been seeing her lately (hopefully that'll be remedied soon). If anything, they're like brothers that highly respect each other. Perhaps there's a bit of a bromance, but that's it. Anyway, they are definitely not gay and I get sick of all the pairing questions. KH isn't about pairings! None of the hinted pairings are really even canon. When have we ever seen anything really romantic from anyone in these games? Umm, never. And Disney would definitely never allow Sora and Riku to be gay. Seriously, why do people care so much about all the stupid, non-existant love crap and not about what KH really is? The characters are even still quite young for crying out loud! And if any yaoi pairing might have some substance from Square, it'd be Neku and Joshua (at least on Josh's side, possibly). Not Sora and Riku (or Roxas and Axel, or whatever pairing people come up with for KH). Rant over.
  5. I actually didn't mind it. I wasn't expecting much, so I wasn't disappointed. I was glad about all the press KH:3D got, and the FF tech demo was interesting, indeed. Still, on the Square-Enix front, I wonder just what they're working on besides Versus. I knew there would be no KH news, otherwise it would have put 3D in the background (which would have been a bad move over all), but I was expecting more news about FF. I guess they had Theatrhythm, and I wasn't getting my hopes up on Versus news, but I thought they would have mentioned something about either a Type-0 localization, XIII-3, or the FFX HD Remaster. I'm really starting to think, like many people, that the Agni thing must be the beginning of FFXV. Otherwise, I don't know what Square's all working on (Versus, FFXHD, KH titles, and the possible TWEWY sequel aside). I also was hoping we'd hear about a TWEWY 2, but alas I knew we wouldn't. Anyway, I didn't actually mind this year's E3. It was better than last year's in some regards, and I wasn't expecting much, so... And it's probably best Square-Enix's learned to keep quiet about games in development hell. Even if I am insanely curious... Whatever. The 3D coverage and Agni's Philosophy is more than I thought we'd see, and I'm content and pleased with those. Overall, I was very intrigued about what E3 had to offer this year. I still need to decide if I want Theatrhythm, though...
  6. This is so true. Ugh. I'm irritated that so many people think Xion's an imperfect Replica of Roxas because of the wiki. If you play Days, it's perfectly clear that she's an imperfect Replica of Sora. She was created from Sora's memories of Kairi that Nami let loose in CoM. The whole point of Xion was that the Organization wanted a Sora they could use and control, thus they created her. Honestly, the Roxas thing doesn't even make any sense with the game's plot if you pay attention.
  7. The main thing I've heard is that she was reprogrammed. There's also the chance she might have gone a tad bit insane. Personally, I think that she might have had to have Roxas destroy her to go back to him. She was very strong at that point, after all. The fact that she fought tooth and nail against her fate from the beginning, and said it was her choice to “go away now” when Roxas was asking if he'd killed her, seems to show this is right to me, but it's still mostly speculation.
  8. Yes! I mean, it was pretty much hinted at right before Neku and Shiki went back to Shibuya. The characters just meshed so well with KH, and added a lot of new situations for our KH heroes (like Riku being dense while Shiki flirted with him); it was all so refreshing. I think they deserve to at least be in KH3. For some reason, I want Kairi to meet the TWEWY gang, too. Especially Shiki; those two would be bffs for life. LOL. Also, Sora hasn't met Beat yet and Riku hasn't met Neku. The TWEWY story in KH just doesn't seem completely done, you know? Anyway, I highly think they'll appear in III. And it's just as well: they deserve to be in one more KH title, at least. Besides, a certain someone isn't going to just sit back while the multiverse is in jeapordy. So in case my answer isn't obvious enough: HELL TO THE YES! LOL. Edit: Also, I just really want to see more of RG Shiki, but that'll probably never happen. At least not in KH (as it would take too much explaining), but I can dream. If they start using RG Shiki more maybe then Eri could get involved in TWEWY things. I mean, you'd think she would being Shiki's best friend and all. However, I should probably focus on wanting to see more of Rhyme first, huh? I wonder if she fights with Pins...
  9. Well, they had a Lightning model unlockable in Avatar Kingdom in Re: Coded (and Kingdom Hearts Mobile in Japan). It's probably a sign. LOL. Light would fit into KH so well. And Square is in love with her so it's bound to happen. LOL. I wouldn't mind seeing Serah, either. Especially since I recently saw the "Requiem of the Goddess" DLC... I'd just like to see tons of FF characters. Zidane and Dagger from FFIX ftw!
  10. I'm not going to touch the time travel stuff because I don't know if I could explain it that well. Now about TWEWY gang, they are like the FF cameos, but I think they're going to be a huge part of KH3. In fact, KH and TWEWY are canon with each other now (or so it seems) so a lot could happen. Keep in mind this post will have spoilers. Anyway, here's what's happening with the TWEWY people. Neku, Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme were erased by a Reaper. Joshua, then, took the remaining fragments of them (that seem to mostly be the versions of them from week 1 of the Game with Megumi) to Traverse Town to try and save them. Pretty much, if they got hearts again (and after they found their Partners again), they would come back to life. However, to return to their own world, they needed to destroy the one Dream Eater that was going to different worlds and the different Traverse Towns; the Reaper that erased them came up with this condition. Anyway, with the help of Sora and Riku, they accomplished all of this. They then make a promise (at least Sora, Neku, Shiki, and Joshua do) that Sora will come meet them in Shibuya. In fact, I'm actually starting to believe we'll go there in KH3. And/or Joshua and everyone will somehow be part of the final battle. Sorry if I didn't do a good job explaining this. It's hard without the English dub, because you don't know how it'll officially be translated. Also, I'm doing this from memory since the videos with the English subs (that I got all this info from) are now gone... Personally, I would love to see more KH/TWEWY interactions. I love both fandoms and they worked so, so well together! Better than the FF cameos, honestly (at least in my opinion). Nomura gave them great banter and contrasts. Anyway...
  11. WARNING: THIS POST WILL HAVE SPOILERS! DON'T READ IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED TWEWY. Joshua very well could be gay, or perhaps bi-sexual, but I don't think we know enough to say for sure what his sexual orientation is. Mainly because the only thing that makes people think he's gay is his interactions with Neku. And while I think there could have been some truth to Josh/Neku (on Josh's side), at the same time I find it hard to belive. I feel like he acted the way he did durring that week just to tick Neku off. And I don't think Joshua ever really had any feelings for him. I mean, he shot him twice without a bit of remorse. He was going to erase Shibuya (and therefore Neku with it). And yet people think Joshua had feelings for Neku? Everything he did was an act. The entire three week Game was just him playing with his pawns. Trying to see if Shibuya's citizens could be cleansed, and he could stay his hand against it (which also seems to point towards Joshua just driving Neku insane with his "advances" to test him). While Neku and Josh do seem to have become friends despite everything by the end of TWEWY, I don't think it would ever work out between them because Neku and Joshua would be too destructive together. And Neku can't forgive Joshua. Now, I know that people are going to bring up Another Day. But Another Day is not canon, and is sort of crack. It takes the ridiculous qualities of the characters and heightens them, thus making Neku more emo, Joshua more gay like, Shiki more of a crazy fangirl, and so on and so forth. So I don't think we can judge him in Another Day, either. Honestly, I don't think we'll know until Square says one way or another, or we learn exactly what Joshua was thinking in every instance of TWEWY. Because right now, he could either be just a prissy straight boy, bi (he did seem to flirt a tiny bit with Rhyme in Another Day, but that's still not canon), or gay. I will say, though, that I kind of got the impression that Square just stuck the Joshua/Neku thing in there to poke fun at yaoi fangirls (maybe even specifically the SoRiku or AkuRoku ones). I also get the feeling that since Joshua's the Composer, he thinks he can do whatever he wants. Or hit on anyone he wants to (thus adding more fuel to the bi theory). Anyway, this didn't really answere anything, but whatever. Until Square gives us more information about Yoshiya, we'll probably never know. In fact, we'll probably never know just because Square-Enix and Joshua's character both like to be mysterious. And honestly, I think I'd prefer it if it remained that way.
  12. When Roxas falls into a coma and Xion collects sea shells for him for everyday he's out (and later when he does the same for her). Mainly because until then, I was playing the game with this mind set: "I hate this game, Roxas belongs with Nami, I'll forever hate Xion" blah blah blah. With that scene though I completely fell in love with Xion's character and she's now my favorite KH girl (and second favorite character in the series). It was also that scene that made me love RokuShi (and I ironically support that more than RokuNami now). It was that scene that made me love Days. And I'm so glad I got over my stupidity! Because it's one of my favorites! It was so emotional! Showed so much selfless sacrifice on Xion's part, and such great moments between the friends. It's that KH game I feel that has the most heart. Maybe because it's all about Roxas, Axel, and Xion's moments with each other and shows that they do, in fact, have emotions. I just love Days, and I love the sea shell scene because it made me broaden my horizons to accept this wonderful game, Xion's character, and her being paired with Roxas.
  13. I noticed this awhile ago. LOL. That's so cool. Did you also know that the voice actor for Beat in TWEWY (now in KH) voiced Jett? Also, the voice actress for Katara voiced Yuffie in KH2 (and DoC). And Richard Epcar who voices Xehanort will be voicing someone in Legend of Korra. KH and Avatar have many of the same VAs. Which is awesome because they're all good actors, and amazing fandoms!
  14. It's him. I can tell as I've listened to Joshua's lines many, many times. It has the same tone to it, but it seems a bit higher pitched. It might be the different sound qualities of the consoles that makes him sound different. Or they may have made his voice higher. Maybe his voice had become deeper? I'd also like to remind everyone this video wasn't mixed too well. That may have something to do with it. Whatever the case, it's definitely him. And I'm so glad! He IS Joshua. No one else could pull off that witty, arrogant, sarcastic yet lovable son of a gun like he can. Also, people need to keep in mind that Joshua is supposed to sound effeminate...
  15. If you think about it, it's kind of because of Nami that Xion exists. She was created from Sora's scattered memories of Kairi, and Nami was the one who released those memories. Those two also have a lot in common personality wise, the way they've suffered, etc. And not being judgmental here, but it's also because of dear Nami that Xion doesn't exist or isn't remembered anymore. Understandable, though, of course. On another note, they might as well be sisters. After all, they were both technically created from Sora, but ended up more like Kairi. They even seemed to be friends like sisters would be. I should stop now. Anyway...
  16. I did, but I'll probably end up buying tons of games for it. Anything Square-Enix (TWEWY2, anyone?) and I'm sold. LOL. Aaaaaaaand July is still too far away:(
  17. And it could help Nami. Speaking of her, I wonder if the reason she wasn't in 3D much is because she'll be in a Kairi game thing? Maybe the "lightweight" and "fastball" title? Anyway...
  18. Oh, wow. I didn't expect something like that. LOL. I'll install it right away. Thanks for the help, Dchiuch and Sora69!
  19. While I think there are other stories that could be told, I don't think he'd do so right now. Not when he's already said 3D will be the last game (story wise) before III. I believe this was in his tweet for the KH ten year anniversary. It wasn't in so many words, but yeah. I just have felt like in recent interviews he wants to start on KH3, too. Especially since he is worrying about the multi-platform thing. So unless there's another game (besides 3D and BbSV2) that's important to understand III, I think he'll save it until the next saga. I even wonder if BbSV2 was postponed because it gears more towards the next saga than III. I could see a "worlds that have fallen to Darkness" story arc after III. While it would be AMAZING to remake and/or remaster the games, I don't think we should get our hopes too high. It's still not even really confirmed this is happening. Honestly, if we just got a revamped BbS and KH for PS3, I'd be sold. They may or may not include other games (they probably would include KH2 before BbS), but it may be too much for them to handle. At least right now. I don't even need Final Mix content (though it would be nice). Just a higher quality KH1 and BbS would really make my life. KH2, too. But that one's still not too bad graphics wise (BbS either, but I want it for a console). 3D and CoM would be nice, too. But those are bridge games so they'd probably worry about BbS, KH1, and KH2 first. Which is too bad because I want a Re: Days. Xion deserves to be seen in more cutscenes:/ And it is weird that (besides maybe 3D) Days is the only KH without a remake or Final Mix. And Days does hold importance. I love that game. I'd much rather have that than Re Re: Coded. Or just Coded in general. Ugh. That game... At best, we might get the main titles and bridge games remade with unlockable cutscenes from Days and Re: Coded (as well as a summary of the games). Actually, people would probably just be fine with CoM's cutscenes, too. No one really pays attention to the Disney worlds in that game. Anyway, I've ranted enough. Shutting up now. -Shanna
  20. Hmm... Just recently, I would have said there's no way it's in development. Nomura has to finish Versus... blah blah blah. Lately, though, I've been starting to wonder. I mean, in certain interviews it does seem as though he's let slip that they're working on III. I think there's a chance Versus might actually be getting close to being done, postponed so they can work on KH3, or Nomura's having the Osaka team start work on 3 (if Versus is still in full prodiction). It just seems that he's been hinting at it. BbSV2 is postponed, but he says other titles for KH are in the works, and that there will be an announcement soon? Unless it's remakes or remasters, it can't be much except KH3. He did say 3D was the last game before it, after all. Which is good because, honestly, they don't have much left they could fill in with the current plot. And just recently Nomura said it was time for KH to get back on the consoles again. We all know that he wants KH for the PS3. And he's also mentioned to pay attention to 3D for a hint of what the next game to come is. Well... in the credits of 3D, Sora and Riku walk towards the light and their outlines make a III (sorry if someone didn't know that, but it's not really a spoiler, so...). All of this is pointing to KH3 being early in development, or planned to start soon. I'm super psyched, but don't want to get my hopes up. It's hard not to, though, with all this evidence...
  21. So I'm not sure if this should be here or in the video section. Sorry if this is in the wrong place... Anyway, can someone tell me how to download cutscenes from here? Ever since the site started using keepvid, I haven't been able to figure it out. Basically, instead of being able to download the video, it keeps wanting me to download the keepvid program. Any advice? Am I supposed to download the program? And if so, is it safe to do so? There also seemed to be a way to download the videos by adding keepvid as a favorite page... Sorry for any confusion. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to edit with 3D scenes. LOL. -Shan
  22. It's always seemed to me that Nomura can only slightly mess with the FF characters' canon. I think this would be too much. After all, Nomura only did the character designs for XIII. He doesn't own anything to do with the story. Now Versus, Advent Children, and TWEWY might be a different story. But despite directing AC, I don't think Nomura has too much control over the VII characters. Your best bet is probably Noctis IF that game ever gets up off the ground (and I'm starting to think there's a chance it might not). I surely don't think characters from IX, for example, could be Keyblade wielders. Nomura had to get the rights to draw Zidane and Kuja just for Dissidia. Also, I think KH does have too many Keyblade wielders now. Let's see Nomura invent something new. Like a counter to the Keyblade's power? Anyway, I don't ever see a FF character having a Keyblade. Sorry.
  23. Suddenly I'm reminded of how Sora could triple wield for a bit when he fought Roxas in KH2FM...
  24. 1. You are correct. Another example is how when Roxas is created, he has Ven's heart for a good while. All of the time Sora is without Roxas, he's still able to wield. Even without Ven's heart. And Nomura has specified in interviews that Sora's connection to Ven gave him a Keyblade early, but he would have gotten one himself later on without Ven's help. 2. People that think that are just ignorant, really. Either they haven't played all the games, don't pay attention to what the games are telling them, or just want to see it that way. But really I can't see how people that know the story can think Ven and Roxas are the same. There's so, so much that goes against that!
  25. I wouldn't mind seeing him again. All of IX-XII, honestly. I'm kind of irritated that the other members get so much spotlight and they get none. I mean, for ahwile Luxord was even Nomura's favorite. I just think it's ridiculous. Some of them were pretty cool. And Marluxia and Larxene played huge parts in CoM. I think Nomura's sort of dropped the ball by just pushing them to the side. It's Organization XIII! Not Organization X (yes, I'm including Xion in that count as she gets more screen time than them, but wasn't even an official member)! -sigh-.
