If Pokemon were spontaneously introduced right now, yes it would cause widespread terror because human beings are terrible. I'm saying this as a generalization, I am aware there are some truly good people in the world. If they were here from the beginning of time, who knows what it would be like, we could be like the society in the anime or games where most people are blissfully ignorant of most of the danger that is constantly surrounding them in the form of random criminal organizations, with naught but a meddling 10 year old to stop them. We will never know the answer to the original question. Chances are if Pokemon were to become real in some strange bioengineering, then only super super rich people would have them.

True story, had a Krookodile, and was actually taking the time to train him up. I also had 2 Zoroa. and 2 Victini, my friend was starting a new save so he gave me his. Now I really can't wait to play Black 2, should come in the mail today (as in the 26th).

I realized after I traded in my White version how much I actually liked the Pokemon of Gen 5. Scolipede was such a cool Pokemon, and Gigalith? Freaking sweet!

Yeah I never actually managed to catch Raikou on my original Crystal version.Haven't taken the time to do it on Soul Silver either...

I never experienced Suicune escaping since I never got that far into Gold/Silver, cuz I got Crystal version and started playing that instead. Either way I can sympathize because of the roaming legends.

I've done it more often in the last few months than ever before. Pre-ordered Fire Emblem: Awakening, and now I am pre-ordering Pokemon X. There might be a few more games I'll pre-order this year, just haven't found them yet

It's not HARD. It's just annoying as hell on the N64 version. Like everyone else said, the stupid boots. Changing th water levels, misusing that key. All sorts of stuff lol

Finally, living in Florida has benefits!!! Depending on if I have a car soon, I could def do this!!

I know what you mean, it's like me playing Hamtaro games. It's super fun! It's the same for trading card games as well, like I play Magic: The Gathering and a ton of my friends are always like "aren't you a little old for TCGs?" Heck no, there are so many older people that play M:TG!

Definitely the Org XIII. Dat coat, and using the corridors of darkness? How cool would that be? Not to mention being able to hang out with all the members and such, if we are assuming that everyone isn't destroyed lol

Definitely RPG, but I'll play pretty much anything that's good. I "enjoy" CoD, but I don't particularly like it. I LOVE Halo 4. And I love me a good platformer as well. I especially like a game if I'm good at it, which is why I enjoy CoD.

Pokemon Blue, probably the first game I ever actually owned. Bought it from my brother for $5. Best 5 bucks I've ever spent.

My problem is that I go to play another game for a while like months and then come back to that game and I'm like "WHERE AM I? WHAT DO?!?" Familiarity is such a nice thing in certain games lol

I do! Especially for games like Dragon Quest 9. That game gets so much better if you have friends who have dungeons and such. And not many of my friends like Nintendo all that much. So they'll never get a 3DS. I have to trade pokemon with myself T-T (my wi-fi doesn't support the DS Lite)

I feel ya. First time I played I was one of those people that was like "Starter pokemon always wins!!" And didint really bother leveling that much at the beginning. She destroyed me plenty times. And I did have to go out and grind a while.

That disc is so beautiful! Gods I need a PS3!
