As we draw closer to the premiere of the Boruto anime, the eleventh chapter of the manga has been leaked, and following that, the start of a new story arc. My thoughts: EDIT: (4/5/17) The first episode of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime has finally released! My thoughts:

It's been a while since I've written a full review, one that wasn't just mostly me about a bad movie day experience like last time, so I figured I'd rectify that with a review of one of my favorite anime of all time. That's right: DKC, baby. BANANA SLAMMA! Oh, there's so much to talk about. The animation, for one, is superb. I've never seen a cartoon series, let alone that uses computer animation, that is able to masterfully emulate natural movement and choreography its in characters and settings as this one does. It is stunning, Miyazaki couldn't top it. Pixar couldn't top it. Hell, not even Van Gough, Picasso, or that drug addict hobo who lives in your gutter and draws pictures of horses with his own feces could top it. It is that good. Then there's the voice acting. Just one line from the big man himself, Donkey Kong, will make you shiver with out immaculately he captures the character from the games. And you know what, the same goes for pretty much everybody. Cranky is wise, Diddy is the perfect wingman, Candy is totally how she should look and act, same for Dixie, everybody else is good, and even that new guy who wasn't in the games is well done. I feel like I"m rambling here, let me just go in depth with how I feel in the full review down here. In short: it is, in fact, one of the best anime ever made. 10/10. 5 stars. Two thumbs up. Dongs out for Harambe. Better than sex, better than life itself, and I would willingly trade half of my organs plus a hair of a Swedish pianist just so I could meet with and possibly have sex with the guy or girl who came up with the idea of making this show. Possible coconut creme pie action included. Thank you, and goodnight.

It's an exception. And you know what, do not even imply that Shadow the Hedgehog needs defending. Nobody likes that game unironically, and if there are people like that, I haven't met them and I don't want to.

I made a comment about that in one of my statuses. And yeah, I'm scared too. The only thing I can say is that if it's somewhat remotedly like the Amazing Spider-Man films, it might be passable. I know a lot of people don't like them, but you know what, Marc Webb tried his hardest to respect the source material and that's a whole lot better than what Sami Rami tried to do, so I'll take what I can get.

So we have to get the stone and find a way to cover for Satan's ass all at the same time. You've got a lot on your plate.

I repeat my earlier statement about Mr. Satan needing to explain away even more seemingly impossible shit. Speaking of which, he is going to show up, right? You can't have a Tenkaichi Budokai without Satan, that's like having a Cell Games without Cell.

"Well that was unnecessarily depressing, but hey, I gotcha. My dad did the same for me, so I understand completely. He's kinda like that too." "Same here. My dad was the coolest guy I knew..." Rin spoke up. "That's why I'm gotta kick Satan's ass for him!" "Wait, I thought you said Satan was your dad?" Franky said. "Maybe by blood, but my real dad was a priest named Shiro Fujimoto." Rin said. "Hmm... I can respect that," Franky nodded. Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this. Franky approached the sign-up desk, scaring the judges nearby. "W-Well, you sure are a big fellow, aren't you?" Franky opened up his palm and used his smaller mechanical hand to pick up a pen and sign his name on his entry sheet "I'm not just big. I'm SUPER!!" Franky said, immediately falling into one of his usual dance/pose routines. "Shake it to the left! Shake to the right! C'mon, everybody join in!" The judges did not join in, but did marvel at the sight of Franky's eccentric yet impressive display as he began listing off his cyborg capabilities. "Just to make sure, er, Mr. 'Franky' was it, all of these weapons of yours are part of your body, correct?" "You're damn right! That's the beauty of being a mechanical marvel such as myself! YOW!" The judges approved Franky's submission knowing that his weapons did not break the rule of outside weaponry being used in the tournament. Boruto was next to sign up. "Okay, here I go!" "Ah, a young upstart. Did you come to participate with your hero Mr. Satan, little guy?" "Mr. Satan? Who?" "What? Have you been living under a rock? Mr. Satan is our world champion! He's been holding the title and keeping the peace for our world for years now!" "Oh really? Well can he do this?" Boruto summoned a miniature Rasengan and flicked it over one of the judge's shoulders, almost scaring him off his chair. "What was that? This is no time to be horsing around ki--" BOOM! The Rasengan expanded after it hit a nearby wall, the judges shaking from the sound and feel of the impact and looking back at the huge hole Boruto made with shock and confusion. "Like I said: can he do that?" "W-Well, er, I-I'm not sure... either way, uh, you're eligible. Now please move along." "Sweet!" Boruto rejoined the others. "Hey Rin, aren't you gonna sign up?" "I thought about it, but I don't think I'll be able to pass." He held up Komaken. "This sword is the only thing I can fight with, and it's the only thing that triggers my full powers too. Even if I didn't use it, I'd be pretty sunk since I don't have good control of my flames yet. Plus I'm pretty sure burning people would be against the rules or something..." Rin rubbed his head and chuckled. "Well, can't argue with any of that..." Franky mused. "But don't sweat it! Me and the little ninja bro'll just put in a whole barrel of super work in just for you. Ain't that right?" Franky raised his fist to Boruto, who promptly bumped it with his own fist. "You got it, big robot bro!"

Really late comment, but the trailer was really cool IMO and I can't wait for the movie.

Sony's Venom movie makes me concerned. Why? Because the last time a comic book villain from the rouge's gallery of a more prominent comic book hero got their own movie was Catwoman... and uh... yeah.

Don't be a smartass. Okay, one of those movies I could understand but... Civil War? I haven't even seen that movie yet and it still feels wrong.

I know it's really late but I just got finished powering through some more OP episodes (and dealing with video player issues all day, blegh) and I got up to episode 429, the end of the Little Blue East arc, which as you know is the arc that was made to promote the Strong World movie. So naturally on my seemingly endless quest to consume all OP media I can as I continue to catch up with the anime, I watched Strong World too. And what did I think?

The entire series is wacky. And those two aren't sane by any comparison, just re-read everything they've done in the books, they're full-on mental. It will if they're still funny jokes. Doing the Boke and Tssukomi routine doesn't require specific types of people, just a straight man and wise guy. As long as you fill those two slots, they can be anybody.

I stand by my earlier statement. Nothing is as edgy as Shadow the Hedgehog anyway and thank goodness it's the only one of its kind. I'm not wrong though.

You started off saying that. Then you said "almost". My brain registered that as including all the MCU movies. Either way, who cares? They're good. I'd rather watch a million of those then re-watch Bat vs Supes once.

Literally every other high powered Nobody we see except those two is an identical of their Somebody. Again, not said directly, but it's something you just pick up.

Hey, let us superhero buffs have our fun. We've been slogging through shitty movies for decades, and now we finally live in an age where they're getting the treatment they deserve... excluding Fant-Four-Stic and DCEU, but other than that, we're in the golden age. Compare Guardians of the Galaxy and Winter Soldier and come back.

A KH MMORPG has been talked about for how many years now? A fighting game ala Dissidia as well, but even if its not like that, I'd go for it. Also of course, a racing game because KINGDOM KARTZ.

I feel like that's pigeonholing. Why can't we just stick him in any scenario we want as long as its fun? It can be dark and fun at the same time too. Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 were kinda dark, but nobody complains about that. Dark Brotherhood had some dark tones, and that game was highly rated. Since when is doing anything with Sonic considered "going too far" anyway? You know what's really going too far? Beastiality. Do you see Sonic getting it on with a human girl in these trailers? No? Then chill.

This is pretty much the same humor in the books from what I remember.

Key & Peele convinced me that I need an anger translator.

"Hmph. You don't have to tell us twice..." Boruto said. He might be similar to Sasuke, but Boruto now thought that Sasuke was much cooler than that grumpy old stiff. "You said that he was your dad's rival though, right? Is your dad strong too?" Boruto asked.
