Shadow of the Colossus got that atmosphere very right, and I think that's why the moon level on Majora's Mask really got to me. Just a huge empty quiet space when you're used to noise and movement.

Even wandering around Aperture I find fascinating, just because you get to see this monument of grandeur, but there's absolutely no one there to worship it.

Yeah! That part when you've fallen into the deepest darkest part of the place is my favorite.

@ Col. Random: I actually managed to beat it on my first go, which I have no idea how that could be possible, considering how many times the Pursuer alone killed me. Go figure.

@ Zola: it was, actually. It's a very interesting game that gives you a lot to think about at the end. Granted, the gameplay can be insufferably difficult at times, but there's enough good things in the end to make it worth the hair pulling.
