  1. Your points aren't necessarily wrong, but I think you are over worrying. Osaka is experienced and I have no idea where you read Nomura was not involved but thats a big lie. He is the creator of the game and director of the game. Every final decision is his. - Also BBS and 3D were on handhelds, each with limitations to game size. Granted, the 3DS presents games at around the same quality as PS2 and PSP isnt far off, they storage size for a UMD and 3DS cartridge is significantly smaller than that of a PS2 dvd. KH3D is on a 4 GB 3DS cartridge and I don't know the size of UMD's but it is smaller than that. Yet look at what Osaka did, despite these limitations. - BBS has 3 story lines. 3 STORYLINES!!!! Each with around 15 hours of playtime. Imagine if it had only been one character, what they could have done, but Nomura wanted all 3 characters playable and that was the approach he chose. It also introduced multiplayer, a first in the series and those capabilities surely took up some space. And the command forms were awesome! I loved leveling up and unlocking new possible forms throughout the game. - 3D features gigantic worlds, larger than any we had seen before in a KH game. They had unbelievable vertical depth as well as large open settings. Previous KH games were limited to maybe one large area per world. It also featured dream eaters, which there are around 50 different ones. Now double that because of spirits and nightmares. Thats over double the normal amount of enemies in a KH game. BBS only had about 30 different unversed. Plus the entire interface of bonding with dream eaters. At first glance you may want to brush off their work but when you look deep into the details of what they accomplished under the limitations they had, they made some truly astounding progress with the series and have also made the only 2 games to actually progress the story line further since KH2. - Now you can complain that you want the other team to develop KH3, and nobody has said they wont help, but for now, they are locked up with FF 15 and have been for 7 years. Nomura isnt going to let them move on to something else until FF 15 is done. Now look ahead to what they have to work with on PS4 and Xbox One: - 50 GB blu ray discs - lightning fast processors - 8 GB of RAM (though significantly faster RAM in the PS4 and pretty cheap RAM in the Xbox) - High powered graphics cards. and MUCH MUCH more I personally believe KH3 will be the best KH yet, because with Nomura at the helm its gonna be epic no matter who develops it. Osaka's gonna do great. Nomura stated earlier that the gameplay and battle system would be an evolved version of KH2's system with features added in from the various handheld titles. Command forms could come into play as well as flow motion (sora did jump off walls in the teaser)
  2. I think now it will use PS4 and Xbox One as primary consoles (though let's be honest we all know PS4 is THE primary, lol) and 3DS for any side/in-between story games.
  3. I would love to see it as part of the game. Definitely? We can't say that until it's announced. But I would love to see it happen.
  4. I do agree that he has been planning it but seeing as the Osaka team is developing it and KH3D was not finished for till last march, not counting localization, they haven't been working on it too long. I mean other than the teaser with new voices, the tech demo reminded me a lot of the early tech demo for KH3D, showing sora in a generic outfit fighting heartless and some basic flowmotion. This was basically the same thing. They are still probably finalizing story elements and working on deciding worlds.
  5. Disney has owned Marvel studios since the first Iron Man film. They own star wars now too. They also own Pixar. LOTS of possibilities. I WANT WRECK IT RALPH. Jane Lynch in Kingdom Hearts? So much sarcasm, so much WIN.
  6. I hope for a new one. I just think it would be cool. Plus just because they used it in that short tech demo means NOTHING. KH 3D had sora fighting heartless in his KH1 outfit in its tech demo. neither of which were part of the final game.
  7. I know I'm a little late to the party on this thread, but cartoony graphics?? Um, its a game based on cartoon characters. What the heck were you expecting...? KH has always been cartoony. Now it's just HD cartoony as opposed to its former cartoony.
  8. Both. That way it will serve as the connection between KH 1.5 and KH3. Basically a connection across generations
  9. This is true about the specs. Wii U has only 2 GB of RAM and a much slower GPU than the PS4 and Xbox One, both of which have about the same processing power and 8 GB of RAM each though Sony's is significantly more powerful than the Xbox One.
  10. I am guessing that KH3 won't be out until at least 2015, and I just got a PS3 last year. PS4 will take a few years before it amasses a large library, and I would assume that with around 2 years passing between launch and KH3's release, the system will receive some form of a price drop by then. Either way, I can't afford $400 so I will wait for a price drop.
  11. Plenty of people have already said it, but 2.5 HD (or whatever it's called) next year in 2014, and then to keep with the game a year: KH3 in 2015. You have to look at what was shown as well, a VERY EARLY tech demo of sora moving around and jumping and one swing of the keyblade as well as a swarm of shadows that he rides. Very similar to the original KH3D tech demo of sora in traverse town fighting heartless and showing early flowmotion techniques. KH3D came out about 21 months later in japan. I see a similar release with 2.5 in the first part of 2014 in japan and fall everywhere else and then the same format the following year. I would expect that 2.5 (which was already hinted at in the credits of 1.5) will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show in September, about 1 1/2 weeks after the US release of 1.5
  12. Having Eraqus' keyblade at the end didnt seem to mean he would get a master, I took it as, he would use it to unlock castle oblivion and free Ven. Considering Aqua used that keyblade to lock Ven away in the first place. Also, I hope it means he will team up with Aqua somehow to get to Ven. I dont really know but i expect great things.
  13. I always loved BBS and KH2 about equally with 3D close behind. BBS with 3 storylines just made me so happy. KH2 was just epic. And 3D was so entertaining. I think Osaka will do well. I have no worries.
  14. I'll get the PS4 version. Never liked xbox. and i prefer spending less for a console with better graphics and RAM as well as no necessary camera peripheral which I wouldn't use much anyway. Also, I like buying used games. And my internet sucks. PS4 it is. Still have to save up but let the waiting begin!!!
  15. I have lost track of how many times I have said this on here, Nomura wants a KH game out every year. KH 1.5 HD comes out in 2013. KH3 is now confirmed and based on the very basic demo shown, is still very very early in development. I mean sora was in a generic KH1 outfit same as the earliest footage of KH3D. KH3 will not be out till at the earliest 2015. This leaves a year in there for another game, the easiest candidate, KH 2.5 HD (or whatever it's called) Let's just hope its still on PS3 for those of us who cannot yet get a PS4. EDIT: Sora was in KH2 clothes for the demo. my bad.
  16. Sora was traveling through the sleeping worlds and falling asleep as he went. Riku was inside Sora's dream from the moment he entered the dream world as he became a dream eater (signified by the sigil on his back). This is explained toward the end of the game after Riku fights Ansem. Yeah in the end he dives into Sora's heart directly because Sora had been locked away inside it.
  17. They also stated back in February or March that the game was still coming. and news would be coming soon (presumably at E3) so that pretty much debunks that idea
  18. That is irrelevant, you may not like the genre, but you cannot say you don't care for a single series if you have never read it. That one series may be the one to change your mind. But you assume without even giving it a chance you don't like it. Just seems silly to me. I don't like first person shooter video games. I havent found one yet that I enjoy, and I have told many friends I don't care for that genre. But if they say well have you played this game and I haven't tried it, I say no, I likely won't enjoy it, but I'll give it a chance, it might change my mind. Idk maybe I'm just more open minded. I hate that by growing up with Christian parents, you were unable to read them. Because they are not "evil" or anything like a lot of Christians unfortunately assume. They are fantasy. No different than the Lord of The Rings is fantasy. I also grew up in a Christian household but fortunately my parents were unlike that. I suggest you read them! They are good books, not my favorites, but they are enjoyable stories and staples of the modern fantasy genre.
  19. You sir have missed out on a lot of the great series of this world. How could you possibly know you dont care for it if you've never read it?? Thats like saying, well no I don't like pizza. I've never eaten it before, but I don't care for it. Makes no sense.
  20. Hopefully Lightning Returns gets a release window. I'm hoping for the announcement of the fate of Versus XIII, whether it is still happening or has been renamed or what. I mean, according to SE in February it was still on and details were coming. IDK.
  21. Gamestop and Walmart are the only physical stores where you can get the art book. Amazon and Square Enix are the 2 additional online retailers. I preordered mine with amazon, but I recommend Gamestop if you are going to the store to get it.
  22. We can only hope! Unfortunately, there probably won't be an announcement until the Tokyo Game Show in September.
