BBS and 3D sure don't feel like spin-offs to me. They were filled with enough content to be stand-alone games, in my opinion. And didn't Nomura state that they bridged the gaps between games and as such were not to be taken lightly, or something to that effect?

Tbh, there have already been many Final Fantasies that exceed VII. Don't get me wrong, FFVII is one hell of a game, but I believe FFVIII for starters beat any legacy VII may have set. That challenge has already been accepted and superceded.

Getting a console for one game is never good. I did that for the vita (golden). That aside, you should definitely get the 3ds not just for 3D but for the other multitude of great games it has.

Days will be remembered not only for the music but for the character development it brought with it. Although the music is recycled, it is applied to scenes that were very emotional and impacting. Anyone whose played the game will remember Xions struggle and one of the most saddest events in the series at the end of the game.

Roxas: He is cute. His looks and overall appearance in days gives him a crying baby feel which makes him cute and adorable. Vanitas: Not cute at all. Evil and dark, yes, but not cute. Ven: He is okay, but Roxas's situation was more saddening and just plain heartbreaking.
