It could be acceptable, but in terms of selling, it is kind of useless if it is in Japanese and English. JP release will be definitely in Japanese (they love their language so much) meanwhile it will be quite useless for NA release, it is a waste of time. You will prefer Haley Joel Osment rather than Miyu Irino BUT it will be useful for EU release, we can have english, french, spanish etc. in one game. also for JP and ENG for worldwide release. AND ONE THING, one reason why they took so long to localize a game because of the 'mouth' of the character. For english, they need to change the mouth movement to synchronize with the words.. It will be a little bit awkward on the mouth of the character when you switch from japanese to english

ffx and ffxiii are my favorite ff games, and seriously, I just want these game to die in peace..just let people know that these games are the best ff..by making a sequels..people starts to get bored and it will be more embarrassing if the sequel turn out to be very bad
