  1. I feel your pain . . . I've been there a few times with school work. I wish you all of the best! Be sure to get enough rest, as too little sleep from an all-nighter can only make it more difficult to accomplish such tasks.
  2. I'm not big on designing the actual courses, but I can't wait to try them. Can you PM me the code for your courses, please? It might be a bit before I can get to it, but I would happily provide feedback on it. : )
  3. I just got my hands on a copy of Mario Maker and cannot wait to check it out! I know that I'm not in your area, but I'm definitely a fan of the game. I'd love to try out any courses that you have created.
  4. Oveny or Maytag (it's a long story).
  5. Depending on the job and management it might not be such a bad idea. ; )
  6. I love starting my Monday morning off feeling so positive, lively, and upbeat. : )
  7. Oh no, now you've got it playing in mine!
  8. I start my new job on Monday! Yippee!
  9. Wow, you got through that game fast. Normally it takes me a couple of months to get through a Tales game. Good job, and enjoy the ending!
  10. I am very sorry to hear of this news. Perhaps some distancing and time would help you two to sort things out? Either way, I wish you all the best and pray that you stay strong. : )
  11. I've recently started playing Super Mario All Stars just recently, actually. Also, are eBay's prices decent for an SNES?
  12. I just adore Secret of Mana. It's a wonderful game that I spent many hours playing years back. There's nothing like the classics.
  13. Been through a number of interviews now. : ) It's so annoying when you ace the phone interview but don't do well on the 2nd due to pressure.
  14. I'm so glad to hear it! I've been worried about you. Take care of yourself! You're in my prayers. : )
  15. I knew it was fate that you play it after that dream! : P But nah, just kidding. Hope you enjoy it! I've thought about playing it, too.
  16. It is fate that you must play it, then! : P
  17. Or, for a rough example, an earthquake happens and players must choose how they're going to respond. I would focus on events rather than a plot, but it would be a good idea to create a loose outline of some different events you'd like to have happen, which could later formulate into a plot when applying the characters. Again, if you have a rich background you will likely have your plot already made with some events and turning points in mind.
  18. My apologies; I meant canon as in from a series (not wholly original), not a retelling of the actual events from said game. I'm not very familiar with Castlevania, unfortunately, but I would save Dracula's Castle for last. A huge part of the plot is going to come from character interactions, but it would be a good idea to keep events to keep players interested and to create a plot of sorts. Is it an adventure RP of sorts? Perhaps NPCs could come in and challenge the players, or...
  19. What I would suggest would be to offer enough events to your players to keep intrigue and interest. Often a canon RP won't go very far because it's too difficult to know what should happen next. There are different styles to RPing and hosting, but in my experience the more structure you create prior to the opening of the RP the better. Maybe have a good prologue, strong opening scenario, and then just create plenty of detail for your world. Good luck, and let me know if I can be o...
  20. I find that creating a plot for a canon concept is quite challenging, unless deriving great inspiration from the series. What works well for me is to have a very strong world and an existing conflict (i.e. everyone is at war with each other and attacks are frequently falling). From there, there's plenty for the characters to do and to remain active. Often times the story will unfold itself, but that is more for original concepts than canon ones.
  21. Aww, you guys are embarrassing me now. : P You guys are great and fabulous mods (not to mention hard-working!). Also, yeesh, would you believe that I didn't even notice when this was posted? Glad it was taken care of.
  22. Try contacting Flaming Lea or WakelessDream. Both are incredible mods who I'm sure could help you. : )
  23. I'm hitting the road for our cross-country move. See you all on the 23rd!
