  1. While The Walt Disney Company does own Marvel Entertainment, Bob Iger (president) has stated that he'd like to keep the two universes as separate as possible. Now, recently Disney Channel had green-lighted a cross-over for their 'Phineas and Ferb' television series to include Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk and Spider-Man. However, I believe this will be the only interaction between Disney characters and Marvel Comics characters. And truthfully, I know Nomura is itching to branch out a bit, but I believe his first conquest outside of Disney Animation, Disney live-action, Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You will be Pixar.
  2. Considering Axel was standing right there when Riku Replica drained Zexion's power, and then said (those infamous words): "So sorry, Zexion... You just found out way too much", I'm pretty certain Zexion was fully aware of who the culprit was.
  3. Not only did Axel kill Vexen, but he also had Riku Replica kill Zexion. Many were surprised that Zexion (now revived as Ienzo) did not seem to hold a grudge against Axel (now revived as Lea) in 'Dream Drop Distance' for doing so. My theory is: Dilan, Even, Aeleus, Ienzo and Lea are relieved to be a whole once again, so instead of holding a grudge against the man that helped make this possible, I'm sure they've (for the most part) let bygones be bygones.
  4. Of all the many Kingdom Hearts trios (Sora/Riku/Kairi, Sora/Donald/Goofy, Sora/Roxas/Xion, Roxas/Xion/Axel, Ven/Aqua/Terra), they seem to be the only supporting trio... However, since they were featured at the Kingdom Hearts '10th Anniversary' event, I have a feeling that they will appear at least once more before the end of the 'Xehanort Saga'... At least I hope so, because they were quite the entertaining group, as well as the most normal (i.e. everyday teenagers) trio present in the series. (I don't count Selphie/Tidus/Wakka as a 'trio' in the same sense, seeing as they are only seen together during a three-on-one match against Sora in the tutorial of the first game, and only Selphie is seen in KH2.)
  5. I believe the being Riku met in Prankster's Paradise was Riku Replica. After the figure disappears, Jiminy asks Riku who it was, to which Riku responds that it was an 'imitation that was copied' from his darkness. So, there's reason to believe that Riku Replica's appearance was merely Riku's heart playing tricks with him, and won't be one of the thirteen seekers of darkness, seeing as the real Riku Replica (the irony lol) was vanquished in 'Chain of Memories'.
  6. KH2's ending was fairly explanatory in that even though Roxas and Namine will not appear in their psychical forms to one another, they will be together within their original persons as long as Sora and Kairi are together. If it were even possible for Roxas or Namine (let alone Xion) to become their own persons, I don't think Nomura would have concluded KH2 the way he did. Roxas and Xion will remain within Sora (as an integral part of him), and Namine will remain within Kairi. In that sense, Roxas, Xion and Namine will help Sora, Kairi and the others defeat the thirteen seekers of darkness.
  7. But, I know for a fact that his name is never spoken in KHII or 358/2 Days.
  8. Demyx... Dem-ix? His name is never spoken in the series, so I guess it shall remain a mystery.
  9. I'm fairly certain that we will see a return of Pirates of the Caribbean to Kingdom Hearts. I'm hoping that Nomura decides to combine 'Dead Man's Chest' and 'At World's End' (since 'Dead Man's Chest' is a direct lead-in to 'At World's End') for Kingdom Hearts III.
  10. Some sort of 'Pokemon'/'Neopet' hybrid... Lol I find some of them cute, and others neat, but, to me at least, they are a step down from Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed.
  11. I believe Riku solely passing the Mark of Mastery exam was the right choice. Throughout the series, Sora has proved himself time and time again, while Riku has had to suffer the consequences of events that transpired in the first game. He has had to battle darkness within himself (as seen in 'Chain of Memories'), cast aside his own identity to ensure that his best friend remained unharmed ('358/2 Days'/'Kingdom Hearts II'), and then risks getting trapped in Sora's prison of slumber ('Dream Drop Distance'). Riku has always come to Sora's aid; and therefore, truly earned the right to become a full-fledged Keyblade master. Sora's time will come (probably in 'KH3'), but Riku needed this much-deserved redemption before then.
  12. As Zexion, Ienzo formed a close friendship with Lexaeus, who was very much the silent type (his classification within the Organization was 'Silent Hero' after all). Lexaeus often turned to Zexion for insight and leadership (as seen in 'Chain or Memories'). When Ienzo lost his heart, it was his Nobody who spent much of his time seeking knowledge. Therefore, Zexion would have more to add, when conversing with fellow members.
  13. All of these would be extremely welcome in my book (however, the likelihood of each option varies): Worlds more than likely to appear: Atlantis: The Lost Empire The Black Cauldron The Jungle Book Pirates of the Caribbean (Dead Man's Chest/At World's End) Pocahontas Tangled Toy Story Treasure Planet Worlds less likely to appear:The Emperor's New Groove The Great Mouse Detective The Incredibles The Lion King II: Simba's Pride The Princess and the Frog Robin Hood And... Worlds that have little to no chance of appearing:A Bug's Life Kim Possible Monsters, Inc. The Sword in the Stone (I was hoping this world would appear in 3D, as one of the seven sleeping worlds to better explain Merlin's presence in Camelot) WALL-E
  14. Before his apprentices banished him to the Realm of Darkness, Ansem the Wise copied Tron from 'The Grid' to his newly created system called 'Hollow Bastion OS'. At some point between Ansem the Wise copying Tron for his personal computer ('Space Paranoids'), and Kevin Flynn going into hiding ('The Grid'), the original Tron was reprogrammed by CLU as Rinzler. The Tron that Sora, Donald and Goofy meet in 'Space Paranoids' is a copy of the original Tron.
  15. In my opinion, it would only be appropriate to end the 'Xehanort saga' by playing as Sora, and Sora only. It pains me to say this, because I enjoy playing as Riku in CoM and KH2 (for the minute or so we get, during the final fight with Xemnas)... And I know I'll enjoy playing as Riku in 3D as well. But, because we played as Sora for the entire game in KH1, and almost the entire game in KH2 (except for the aforementioned minute we play as Riku, and the tutorial, where we play as Roxas), it just seems fitting that KH3 center around Sora's point-of-view, and his travels alongside Donald and Goofy. As for how many Keyblades are made obtainable for Sora... I'd have to say twenty (excluding the Kingdom Key)... These twenty Keyblades that Sora could obtain would represent: The Seven Lights and Thirteen Darkness. And finally, I'd like to see sixteen worlds in total; including: Destiny Islands, Castle Oblivion, Twilight Town, Radiant Garden, The World That Never Was, Keyblade Graveyard and ten Disney worlds.
  16. Provided Nomura and Square Enix intend on releasing a 'Kingdom Hearts 3D: Final Mix', I imagine they would add a secret boss with ties to KH3, and more specifically with ties to Master Xehanort. 1. KH1: Final Mix - Xemnas (Xehanort's Nobody) 2. KH2: Final Mix - Lingering Will (The lost mind of Terra, following his body being stolen by Master Xehanort) 3. KHBbS: Final Mix - Young Xehanort (Master Xehanort in his youth)
  17. I occasionally watch the old English dubbed trailers for the first game or 'KH2'. When I watch the old trailers for 'KH1', I can't help but laugh at the fact that Nomura, Squaresoft (later Square Enix) and Disney had no idea that a game that mixed their two different brands of characters would ever take off and become the franchise that it is today. When I watch the old trailers for 'KH2', I can't help but feel saddened that Hollow Bastion (the castle portion) wasn't made playable, and the scene where Sora, Donald and Goofy are fighting Heartless before approaching a hooded figure does not exist.
  18. While I do agree that Terra could quite possibly be one of the thirteen darknesses (in fact, I'm kind of counting on it), I can't see Vanitas being one. The reason I can't see Vanitas being one of the thirteen darknesses, is because we see him alongside Young Xehanort at La Cite des Cloches. Why would he later feel the need to keep his hood down, when he had already revealed his face to Sora. I'm almost certain we would have seen him (with his hood off) in Where Nothing Gathers, if he were to be a member. As for Riku Replica, it would make sense in some circles, but not in all. I understand that he appears a number of times to Riku, whilst traveling to different worlds. However, I believe that Riku Replica appearing before Riku was merely one of his dreams toying with his mind, similar to what Sora's dreams did to him. Riku Replica was defeated by the real Riku in Chain of Memories, and since the Replica Program was not known to create copies with hearts, I can see no possible way of Riku Replica returning. He wasn't truly a being at all; he was more a... well, Xigbar said it best... a 'puppet' (even though he was referring to Xion at the time).
  19. We'll also see Sora (with or without Donald and Goofy) traveling to a number of (Disney) worlds. I don't know how much the seven Princesses of Heart are to factor (psychically) in KH3, seeing as they may only be spoken about (such as in KH2; except for Belle, Jasmine and Kairi). So, Normura may decide to have Sora visit familiar worlds, connecting to those seven princesses, or he may decide to have him visit unfamiliar territory (such as in 3D).
  20. I'd have to say KH2, but 3D is a close second.
  21. Chef Kyroo, Cyber Yog, Keeba Tiger and Pegaslick
  22. Sora: Japanese (I just can't help, but feel that Osment's trying too hard to sound more like his pre-adolescent self from KH1; which I can understand, after coming off much deeper in Re:CoM) Riku: English (Gallagher's voice hasn't changed much at all since KH1; he is one of only a few that can keep a calm voice and sound truly interested at the same time. There's also a bit of an underlying attitude present, which we've all come to expect from his character.) Young Xehanort: Both (His Japanese and English voices are consistent and ominous.) Mickey Mouse: Both (If Allwine was still alive and providing the voice for Mickey today, I would've said his English voice hands down. Iwan doesn't do a bad job by any means, but now it's a bit more equal to his Japanese voice.) Roxas: English (McCartney plays a very believable and down-to-earth character.) Lea: English (Flynn has the edge, due to his highlighted charisma.) Yen Sid: Japanese (Burton sounds noticeably different this time around.) Ansem, Seeker of Darkness: Both (While no one can compete with Zane's dizzying intellect, I do believe Epcar is a fine replacement.) Xemnas: Both (While his Japanese voice is a bit more stern, both are eerily convincing.) Xigbar: English (You can't deny the SoCal, dismissive attitude of Stuart's.)
