  1. lol. It was a Japanese guy who first made the EXP Zero strat popular, then the speedrunners adopted it into their strats.
  2. I don't understand why people bitch about Disney playing less of a role in the plot than the original content... if I wanted a super-ultra Disney gaming fix, I'd play Epic Mickey or something like that. The original content was the main reason I got into the series in the first place. Also KH1 was pretty boring plot-wise, the only stuff worth paying attention to was brought over into the later games anyway.
  3. The one that doesn't induce a long delay when I use it :^)
  4. Nomura already said there were going to be summons in KH3.
  5. >compiling and rendering World of Chaos video ... I swear that thing was giving me a migraine.
  6. Everyone's heard this theory before tbh. Being more serious now, I would not be surprised if Kingdom Hearts itself, whatever it is (at the moment the most popular theory being some kind of Lifestream-esque...thing, realm, whatever) has a will or consciousness of some kind, and it's using the main characters (protagonist or not) to carry out its own tasks.
  7. ...no, it'll sap resources from the single-player campaign.
  8. Incorporeal? So probably just a sapient dark mist cloud or something. (The reports do note that he didn't instantly take that form, though.)
  9. His dodge is worse than the other two, and against a boss who essentially comes down to luck in the later stages (with his invisibility and spamming Meteor and Megaflare back-to-back), that's not going to be of much help when you can't even hit him.
  10. You should just go to Japan and offer him your hand in marriage at this point
  11. No, it was "over 100 years" ago, which would imply a time period between 101-199 years (but usually closer to the more recent end), since "over X years ago" typically means something occurred around that time period, relatively speaking (ie. over ten years ago usually refers to something between 11-15 or somewhere about). It is a suspiciously short time period, but it's possible that the Keyblade War fractured the setting so catastrophically that major memory (or other) alterations had to occur just to stabilise the world afterward and prevent it from happening again (thus the Keyblade War becoming legend only known through fragments as opposed to comparatively recent history). (That being said, we don't know what world the "100 years ago" thing is relative to, and time seems to flow closely enough in most worlds [bar the Realm of Darkness] that the "different time axis" thing doesn't really matter much right now).
  12. And that's why I don't bother playing the monetisation game. ...why can't the web just revert to what it was like in late '06-early '07?
  13. The fandom is going to find the most minuscule thing to bitch about anyway...
  14. But Aqua has to come with whoever's undertaking the mission, because she's the only one who can get to the Chamber of Waking in the first place.
  15. Well that makes more sense, although when people say "over X years ago" or "more than X years ago", they do usually mean somewhere within that time period, relatively speaking.
  16. This was mentioned in...last week's Famitsu interview, I think. Yeah, 100 years is a suspiciously short time period, considering the "age of fairy tales" thing, but it's entirely possible the Keyblade War's catastrophic events caused some sort of memory-fuzzing, whether by accident or on purpose (to prevent something similar from happening again?).
  17. Well, that's the most amusing adbot I've seen in a while.
  18. Well I've never read the US Strategy guide, so I know f***-all about it.
  19. The Japanese release came in three volumes, two for Sora and one for Riku.
  20. Just longer radius in KH1. BBS has longer duration, CoM has both. There's Zero Graviza from DDD, which is basically Magnet under another name (and the status it inflicts actually is called Magnet in the Ultimania).
