I thought they did a great job w/ BBS and DDD. I just prefered the numbered titles (esp. the final mix versions). Between combat abilities, like ripple drive and magnet splash (finisher exclusive to KH2FM), among other things, I just preferred the other team's work.

Keyblades in KH1 (and KHFM) do not give abilities (in this case, lucky strike). There is a lucky ring, but that's not in KH (nor is it in KHFM).

That's actually obtained by synthesizing 15 items, not by leveling up.

The 3DS version ended up being better that the console ports, so your argument is invalid. Portable games do not translate well to consoles.

Let's see. 3DS: Bigger, better library of exclusives; PSVITA: Shit library, failure of a system (MH3 Ultimate and MH4 sold almost as many total physical copies in Japan by 9/15 as all VITA games). Gee, which one could possibly be better?

It sounds interesting, but I kinda hate III's art style (well that of released artwork, the part of the teaser showing Sora in twilight town looked okay). The CG was fine for cutscenes, but the characters (well, the human ones), seem off. Nomura should have waited for the next saga for a graphical overhaul.

I hope Braig/Xigbar is killed, but I'm not sure how I feel about Isa/Saïx. If he was Norted of his own accord, like Braig, then he should die, too. If not, I hope that he is saved.
