  1. Given the game's plot significance it's a fair question. I could see them doing an altered version for consoles similar to what Capcom did with Resident Evil: Revelations; I know I would buy a remade Dream Drop Distance. If Square made some uber-special edition of KHIII that came with DDD as a bonus I'd buy that too. What I think is most likely to happen is the events of DDD will be "summarized" in the opening of KHIII, similar to what was done for Chain of Memories when KHII first came out. If that happens Square can always revisit the game like they did with re: CoM.
  2. Good. Let's see if we can't break those numbers in the other territories!
  3. Wow this is a tough question. Gotta give it to the Mass Effect series.
  4. I love the Percy Jackson series and I hope the movie does really well. I think it's sort of underrated as a whole. I also think showing your appreciation is great, but you should clarify in the title that this is fanmade teaser trailer, not an official one. It's a bit misleading otherwise.
  5. I get your line of thinking, I've had similar thoughts, but visually it would probably look really disjointed and jarring. Being able to customize which keyblade would be your "default" might be cool though.
  6. EA could be fine. They own a lot of talented developers who make hit/quality series. The problem his they're leaning over Bioware's and Visceral's shoulders saying "Microtransactions, multiplayer, we want it sooner." They steer games in directions that are "best" for EA, not best for the game. I'm not sure how much blame is on them for the whole SimCity debacle and how much is on Maxis, but I'm willing to bet they were looking for any excuse possible for DRM implementation. EA has earned this nomination if you ask me.
  7. I've never played the second one, but I'm all for more games on a disc. Here's hoping they reveal more about the eventual release soon.
  8. Not a huge one, though I am a fan of DC and Marvel, particularly Batman. I think part of the problem is the universes have become so crowded and daunting I wouldn't know where to start if I wanted to start reading them regularly.
  9. All of the above, minus the last one since I've already played it. I'm glad others will get to try Re: CoM though.
  10. That's what I initially thought, but then I saw the speed run and no equipment trophies. I'll probably replay it on the lower difficulties and scoop those simultaneously.
  11. Good grief. It's like someone said "I'm going to try and make people as sad and happy as they can be all at once."
  12. Never the Final Mix version of KH1, but I've played the original and the others numerous times.
  13. Everything was fairly easy for me to follow until DDD, in which I stumbled a bit. I've got it pretty much down now.
  14. Agreed. It's also an excellent way to lose large quantities of hope in humanity very quickly.
  15. Nothing yet, though I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like.
  16. Thus continues Capcom's systematic abuse of their once beloved blue bomber.
  17. Oh man, nostalgia trip. I still have this game somewhere around here, haha.
  18. There's a couple possible reasons. Green coloration is associated with illness and corruption, as well as life and the natural world. Looking at Malificent's role, you'll note that she's decidedly cut off from the rest of society, and resides in the wild. Coupled with her trademark thorns and animal-like servants, she represents the "evil wild" seeking to undermine and overthrow the "good" civilization, hence the green skin. It's a trope that can also be found in A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. In some depictions the play's fairies creatures are also green. It may also be because of the Wizard of Oz (film) which so firmly rooted the idea of green-skinned witches into pop culture that it's become a common trait, much like how Dracula established the fiction of vampires turning into bats.
  19. Their grouping makes sense for both story reasons and content reasons. Two playable games for the first remix, two (likely) playable games for the second, one collection of cutscenes for each. Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days compliment each other, just as Birth By Sleep explains the allusions from KHII FM. Grouping them chronologically is unnecessary, and in my opinion, a poorer way of organizing these collections.
  20. I prefer the one with the throne, though they both are excellent.
  21. Thank you, I guess I need to rewatch those cutscenes. This is the first KH game to confuse me, haha.
  22. I get where the sleeping worlds are and stuff, but I'd like to chime in and ask was The World that Never Was a sleeping world, or was it "awake"?
