  1. An hour long? That'd be quite the jump for an animated show. But yeah, I'd pass.
  2. November, I like the weather.
  3. I played through XIII, thought it was fine, but I just had no drive to get the sequel. I even tried its demo and lost interest. I think XIII's legacy might've been better if it just got left as a stand alone title rather than constantly added to. I do think they get an inordinate amount of hate for little reason. Anyway, I'd get/play 1.5 first. It may have just been announced a short while ago, but I've been waiting for this remaster since they started putting old titles on new systems. I'm pretty sure that dates it before FF XIII-2 for me.
  4. My hypothesis is this: AC is a on a yearly release schedule, but new consoles are coming this year. Ubisoft might have a team that's working on a real AC4, but there's a jump in development time for the new hardware. So they took the asset that they spent a whole studio developing (the boat stuff in ACIII) and said, "We have this, we can make a full game that utilizes it for next year." Throw in a new-ish setting, a character who is more swash buckling than stoic, and the best parts of the Assassin's Creed formula and boom, new AC title right on schedule that can work on next gen consoles, but uses the old games' parts. I'm excited for it, though so far it feels the most "spin-offish" to me of the series. Looking forward to seeing more.
  5. Right? I know you're kidding, but I'm actually wondering how long it will take them. With regards to the main topic, I don't think there will be a KH 0.5 HD Remix on the ground that it would be the stupidest videogame title ever printed. Well, that's an exaggeration, but it comes close. Also, in order to be a "remix" there first needs to be a "mix" so to speak, and no games currently exist that would fill that 0.5 timeframe.
  6. Glad they're promoting it, though it's not like they've got anything else coming out soon anyway. I hope they give it some attention when it comes West, but I'm not holding my breath.
  7. Pure speculation here. I'm assuming that the trophies will be given for watching whole sections and not individual videos: "Number XIII", Bronze- Watch Roxas join the ranks of Organization XIII. "A Tale of to Keys", Bronze- Watch Xion and Roxas work as a team to take down the Heartless. "Why the Sun Sets Red", Bronze- Watch the Xion, Roxas, and Axel meet at the clocktower. "Bibliophile", Bronze- Read Roxas's Diary and the Secret Reports. "I'll Always Bring You Back", Silver- Watch Axel choose his friends carefully. "She Looks Familiar...", Silver- Watch Roxas defeat Xion. "In Nobody's Heart", Gold- Watch all of 358/2 Days.
  8. Not as much as I should. Arkham City is taking a long time to complete...
  9. PS1 was my first system, but I didn't get super into gaming until PS2.
  10. It will take over 10 MB to create a save file...remember when the memory card you first saved it on was 8 MB? Man.
  11. This isn't surprising, I thought this sort of thing was already happening. My friend received a notice from her internet provider about this very topic months ago. It says that the company the media originates from has to file a complaint after detecting a violation. Anybody know how they go about detecting violations?
  12. I hope there's a pirate-cove town! This kind of makes sense, as the ship portions of ACIII were pretty well received. I'd play a game that had a focus on that, why not.
  13. I'd love a big ole collection like that, but they need to focus on getting 2.5/hopefully putting BBS on consoles before that.
  14. September is acceptable to me. Not great, but acceptable. I've waited years for this collection, another month or two won't make a lot of difference.
  15. It's the global marsupial repository.
  16. Sorry, I've been practicing haiku to convey my meaning, heh. Agreed, that would be absurd.
  17. Same voice, altered chords. The words will not be changing, But memories might. Personally, I hope they keep the old ones.
  18. This makes me want a remake of those gens so badly. Actually, a remake of the first gen on the 3DS would be great too. I'm a sucker for those remakes. I doubt we'll get one in this style now that the series is shifting to the 3DS though.
  19. haha, you're not helping my paranoia. The real reason is I lack the money. Maybe when the inevitable Pokemon-bundle comes out later this year I'll be able to snag one.
  20. Yes, really. I like his new voice fine, I simply don't think it needs to touch KH1. That's just my opinion, which, in Square's grand schema, doesn't really matter. Re-cast? That sounds like a far greater stretch. Better a new voice over with the actor who's been voicing the character for ten years (wow, really that long. huh.) than a new actor.
  21. The one from the first Kingdom Hearts, hands down.
  22. This is what I thought. If it takes them six-seven months to record dialog then somethings up. If I may indulge my nostalgia-based opinions for a moment...look, I know that Sora's voice has changed. But to redo the entire voiceover seems like an unnecessary waste of time. I'd rather have his voice be how I remember it, not updated for "coherency's" sake. And the idea that they'd replace Billy Zane's superior performance with a new voice track is repugnant, I'm sorry. I'm not unopposed to changes, but the voice acting in that game is what brought the characters to life for me when I first played through. Anything other than the original dialog will hinder the experience. It's Nomura's series, he can do as he wants. I'll buy the thing regardless. However, the idea of changing the voices strikes too close a chord to what George Lucas would do for my liking.
