  1. A lot of fans of the original, myself included, are already really disappointed/angry about what's been shown. Between the facts that it's being released as multiple games just to grub more money off of fans (The "won't fit on one disc" excuse isn't valid since the original game was on three discs) and the complete change in genre, a number of people have already lost interest in the remake. Doesn't help that, odds are, it's going to fit into the new FFVII Compilation canon instead of being more focused on the original game's storyline, and a lot of fans of the original are mad about how Cloud's character was changed a lot as they kept expanding the universe.
  2. Still haven't decided exactly what I'll do, but I've already decided I'm only watching Nintendo, Sony, and Microsofts' streams. I made the mistake of watching them all last year, the third party conferences were awful aside from Bethesda having some cool stuff. I won't even be paying full attention for Microsoft.
  3. Only one major KH game was released on a Nintendo system: 3D. Sora is generally associated more with PlayStation than Nintendo, it's not just me who thinks that. Also, I know that Namco developed Smash, and I never even brought up copyright.
  4. The video left out the part at the end when the Pikachu runs back to try and join in for the end of the dance, only to start deflating again when it's almost back.
  5. I think a JoJo Roleplay would be really fun, but I'm still early on in the series so I don't know that I'd feel ready to jump in at this point. It depends on when it goes up and what point in the storyline it takes place at, I guess.
  6. Today's the 40th anniversary of the greatest movie series of all time and the movie that changed my life! Happy birthday, Star Wars!
  7. As Kotetsu unleashed his power, Sarada chose to activate her Sharingan as well. It might not give her any significant strength boosts, but she could at least use it to improve her reaction time. Sarada carefully watched Kotetsu's movements. It looks like he's going for a powerful move, but it's too obvious where he's going with it! She dodged to the left of Kotetsu's punch, though the fist still skimmed the side of her arm. She yelped in pain and clutched it while looking at Kotetsu. There's no way that he can dodge after that! She rushed towards him and aimed a few chakra-infused punches, hoping to hit him while he was potentially stunned.
  8. Out of all those options, I'd say Pokemon, but it was really tough to choose between that and Star Wars. I love both, but I think Pokemon barely wins out.
  9. That's true, but I still can't really see them showing it at E3 and stealing attention from their new system that they need to advertise as much as they possibly can.
  10. I've never played an Injustice game, but Storm 4's really fun. If you like the other Storm games, I definitely recommend looking into it, although there's also a collection coming to PS4/XB1/Steam that includes remastered versions of Storm 1-4. It includes the DLC for 3 and 4, too. There's a lot of replayability that comes with fighting games, which are very different from beat 'em ups. Going off of Storm 4, the roster is massive and almost every character has a unique moveset and playstyle. You can do team matches (Which are a lot better than they were in past games, you can change leaders mid-battle now so the teammates aren't just there for occasional support) too, so you can find the best combination and battle online or with friends whenever you want. It also has a really expansive single-player adventure mode with a lot of different quests to do. Also, a ton of work has to go into making a good fighting game. It's not as simple as making a few characters, giving them movesets, and shipping out the game. Good fighting games go through months or even years of testing to make sure that every character is balanced and fun to play. The reason people pay full price for fighting games is the same reason why anyone would buy an online shooter at full price: they like fighting others and developing their skills. Saying that fighting games aren't as in-depth or worth getting as every other genre is ignoring all of the hard work that goes into fighting games and what their purpose really is. You can't say that an entire genre isn't worth a specific price range just because you personally don't like it, it's a game-by-game basis. That's how every genre is.
  11. I'd like to see that, but it would probably detract from the Switch since the next Pokemon game will be on the 3DS (Against popular belief, Game Freak just recently opened job listings for what looks like a Switch Pokemon game and they're open through next Summer. There's no way that they'll be announcing anything for the Switch until late 2018 at the earliest, and even that's unlikely). Given the push that Nintendo's making for the Switch, any Pokemon game would probably get its own event so it doesn't steal any attention. Not to mention that lately, all Pokemon games have been announced by May at the latest. They're usually announced early in the year, then come out that Fall/Winter.
  12. Now that I've finally achieved 105% in Crash 3, I've finally finished my playthrough of the entire Crash Bandicoot trilogy! I'm all set for the remakes now!
  13. A Pokemon Direct would likely be where the next Pokemon game would be revealed, which is why I brought it up.
  14. The common belief among many fans was that there would be a Pokemon Direct to announce the next game. I brought it up just as a general statement.
  15. Shulk replied to Shulk's profile comment
Yeah, it does. In terms of tone and pace, it's more like a mix between Prometheus, Alien, and Aliens, which works really well.
  16. Alien: Covenant was fantastic!
  17. Given that there are still two months to go before it's out, I wouldn't be surprised if there's another testfire. The testfire back in March was really fun, another chance to play it before it's out would be great.
  18. It should be fine to skip to the sequel. While the original game's campaign was fun, it's not a particularly story-heavy game, and online's the focus anyway.
  19. I'm all set to see Alien: Covenant on release night!
  20. Rayman's the only one I care about, and I haven't even played a whole lot of it. 2D Rayman games are fun at least.
  21. It's been announced that we're getting an Arms Direct tomorrow, so that means no Pokemon Direct. I suppose it's possible that they'll drop a trailer for a D/P Remake the same way that OR/AS were announced, but I'm not so sure about that anymore. It isn't too soon for a new Pokemon game, though. We used to get a main series game every year, the gap between OR/AS and SuMo is the one exception in recent memory.
  22. Alien: Covenant comes out on Friday! I'm hoping I can see it then, I can't wait!
  23. There are plenty of other Square Enix characters who deserve a spot more than Sora, like Crono or Slime. Sora's more of a PlayStation-related character. Even Cloud wasn't the best choice for a FF character in my opinion, he was only chosen for his popularity. Cecil or Terra would fit better since they originated on Nintendo systems.
  24. Sarada Sarada was silent as the announcers all arrived. They all seem like an... interesting bunch. That Mr. Satan guy doesn't look so tough, though. I bet that any one of us could take him down without a problem. It was eventually time for her to step up on the stage with her opponents. The others all seemed energetic and willing to show off; it reminded her a lot of what Boruto would probably do for his entrance. Sarada kept things simple and just walked up onto the stage with the others, studying them as she moved. "Good luck, everyone. I won't be hold back either, got it?" She said with a slight smirk. She glanced back behind her to keep an eye out for Boruto. He'd better be watching... I'll demonstrate the strength of the Uchiha Clan! Akame Akame sat in the stands with the others as they watched the transpiring events. She was busy stuffing her face with food, keeping silent for the most part. She did pipe in while the others talked about Mr. Satan, however. "He's bluffing. It's really obvious," she muttered between bites. She was much more interested in how her new comrades would do in the tournament than the strange man, anyway.
  25. I haven't played the game. I've heard really good things about it, but most Action RPGs bore me these days so I don't really know how I feel about it.
