In fairness Xehanort spent the whole game leading Terra towards his horrible fate at the end of BBS, it genuinely wasn't a coincidence he beat the shit out of him, besides it was irrelevant that he get beat up or not because what really let xehanort take over Terra's body was that moment when the X-Blade was formed.

I agree in places, bbs and ddd are haphazardly written, but Ansem the Wise and Xehanort were on point as always, the secret chapter scene with aqua and Diz was ear candy

Kingdom hearts is magestically written props to Nomura-san, naturally a fantasy based on reality is going to be more realistic

Sorry to hear it mate, but try not to get yourself down too much these things happen as rough as they are. Same thing happened to me earlier this year and I got so caught up in it that I put off someone who was actually into me. What I'd recommend is that you hold your head high and forget about it as best you can, theres no use stressing over something you cant help, itll all work itself out eventually you'll see
