Anyone who doesn't like the fact it stands out visually is going to get a nasty shock when kh3 comes out, pretty sure Nomura was talking about making every world feel very unique.

Exactly what shimmy said, I'd recommend once you feel comfortable with tracing try drawing recreations of other peoples drawings, how I got good

Try not to give up on your poems, if you write them to completion you might feel different, and just remember that a true artist is never truly happy with their own work immediately, so try to get others opinions of your poetry to get a more realistic analysis of your skill level.

Dont get down about it, inspiration to write poetry is something that comes from the heart, when you are ready to write a poem you will feel it.
