Birthday party. It wasn't a bad thing, it sounded like it, but it really wasn't. I'm just not used to making public appearances anymore. Or at all.

(quietly assumes that this person meant because of how the game's story was, its saddening events were enough to be on a love-hate relationship with the game, then writes status comment to point out my silent thought)

Maybe she ends up being the Protector of Destiny Islands. Think about it, each Disney Princess sticks to her world, not counting Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts 1. Why not give a story of what happens when, I don't know...Darkness returns to Destiny Islands, and she the Keyblade wielding Princess of Light has to keep the threat of the Islands being consumed once more...

Is it? Is it not? It COULD be. I'm not saying that it is, or that it isn't. Kingdom Hearts doesn't exactly have the "what you see is exactly what you get"-type agenda. E.g. Ansem not being the real Ansem, Roxas having Ventus's heart, Eraqus actually being inside Terra instead of fully dying, etc. So it could be that one, or maybe not.

Well, according to Nomura in Director's Secret Report 13 (XIII, whatever), it is implied that the differing colors of Kingdom Hearts is due to the nature of its assemblage. The Kingdom Hearts made by Organization XIII was assembled from the "hearts of men," meaning the hearts of people, turned into Heartless, were compiled into it. In Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, the χ-blade unlocked Kingdom Hearts from "the hearts of worlds," meaning the hearts of entire worlds were assembled for its creation. By this, I can assume that Nomura uses the term "assembled" literally. So, being that both were actually artificially made, and assuming that during Aqua's travels in the world of Darkness in FM's secret episode thingie (by this I assume that either BBS's Kingdom Hearts or another version of it was sealed in the darkness, as is shown in KH1), I conclude that we haven't actually seen THE Kingdom Hearts. I have a feeling, to make things firework-spectacular, that KH3 will show the real true Kingdom Hearts. Just a feeling, though.

Actually, said and done. I've even brought him out as a cosplay at SacAnime.

I was actually just going on the basis of the gameplay ease, as each of the trio has a different style. But you've just decided for me which of the two I mentioned I'd play first. Thanks!

I'd say Birth By Sleep Final Mix. I'd like to finish either Ventus's or Terra's story, then move on to KH II Final Mix. Then once I get to the first Data boss, I'd switch to finishing up another story. I'd switch back, finish KH II's main storyline, then work on Aqua's storyline. After that, when both games' main story has been completed, I'd finish up with mingames and side-quests, as well as difficulty trophies if they have them. (Most likely they will) I trophy-hunt. And I love doing so.

Well, I did phrase that incorrectly. I guess its where WE as players first started growing up with the three characters. Also, being how the play island was where we at most times saw the trio, and as what is most related to Destiny Islands rather than the main island, which we only see twice in KH2. Somehow, that skipped my mind. Thank you for pointing that out. Since I'm still VERY new to these kind of posts, I don't know how to add the name to Quote option, so I'm just going to say, username : Percseus, as much as the time may not be relevant to the plot any longer, I still wanted a little bit of feedback on the event anyways. Was anyone here at SacAnime this winter? Did anyone who went on either Friday or Saturday meet the "Doctor Artist"? A custom regeneration of the Doctor from Doctor Who. Wanted to know, because that's me!

...Riku making it to Destiny Islands? In 358/2 Days, you see Riku in several cutscenes, showing him on the Islands he and Sora both grew up on. So why has he NEVER mentioned it to Sora or Kairi? Also, being how 358/2 Days near the beginning takes place AFTER Kingdom Hearts 1, and taking place therefore after Kairi has returned to the Islands...did Kairi notice Riku there? Either she didn't, or she swore not to tell Sora. Being how memories of Sora were erased for a time, Riku's was not, so I don't believe it had much to do with anyone from the Islands forgetting about him. That contradicts what I just asked though, seeing how Kairi wouldn't have sworn not to tell Sora if she didn't remember him...hmm... Anyways... Thoughts?
