No I dont think Olympus Colisseum and Corona are connected at all. We dont see sora's new outfit until he gets to Rapunzel's tower. My guess is Sora's gets a new outfit sometime after completing Olympus Colisseum.

One of my favorite heartless was the Behemoth from KH1. The thing that was unique about it was that it was the only heartless based off of a FF monster. I've always wanted more heartless(or other enemies) based off of FF monsters. What do you guys think?

They could have easily worked around that.

Only when it comes to the original characters. The "no family rule" doesn't apply to the disney characters. If it did, we wouldn't have seen Donald's nephews or uncle in the series.
