The girl who said Xenahort and Eraqueeze claims that it was because she was nervous given that it was her first time doing something like that on IGN. I actually kind of believe her, the latest article she wrote about KH was actually informative, and clearly showed someone who knew the series wrote it.

Honestly, the article in question isn't even that bad. It even had quite a few decent points that were relevant before the remixes & KH3 were confirmed. Where it slips up, however, make it lose a ton of credibility. First off, giving an example of bad nonsensical dialogue and putting out Kairi's letter, which if I'm not mistaken was meant to read like a poem. That right there is giving no context to a quote and making something seem worse than it actually is. Also, it's ironic to say the least that he mentions that everything outside the disney worlds is poorly written, when often times it's actually the opposite way around, at least in terms of dialogue. IGN is actually mostly okay in regards to KH now, at least IMO. But this guy... Still better than HMK, though. That guy... I can't take him seriously at all.

Well I don't MISS it per say, since my language is kinda there and I had no way of accessing other languages anyways, but I do wish that they were still a thing since those countries miss out on it being in their language.

Saying these are the worst and shitty is like people saying The Walking Dead is the worst and shittiest TV show of the decade. It's not, and neither are these by a long shot. The worst ones are usually much less well known. In other words, you should really say they're your least favorite instead of causing a potential flame war because you don't like certain popular animes.

More like, I became interested in KH because I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in the commercials for KH.

I would only say yes because of the shader. I'm curious about how it would look in the new engine. Also, I think it might be cool if they could almost make the movements stop-motion like. Otherwise, there's not much of a reason to go back unless they want to explore some of the other doors. I'd be up for that.

Only if it's done a certain way. The way BBS and 3D did it sort of killed the pace of each segment. Made the game feel much smaller than it actually was, as each segment pretty much flew by. It's gotta be more like KH2.

We know it's not going to be multiple scenarios like BBS and 3D (and I wouldn't want them to do it that way, it kills the pacing of the game), so I'm willing to bet it's either the prologue, which I think is more likely to be playing as Young Xehanort than Kairi, or it's during the final battle. I hope the latter is definitely true. Sora can't just go and beat all of them himself when there's 7 guardians of light.

Do you speak japanese? If so, credible source, but as far as I'm concerned this is a translation error that was meant to say hundreds of years ago, which makes a hell of a lot more sense. It doesn't have to automatically be needlessly complicated with memory swapping and such.

NPCs to make the world feel alive. That might also help in the way of side content such as quests or something.

I have no doubt it'll live up to the hype for me. Gameplay will most likely deliver, graphics and music will deliver. The only thing I'm iffy on is if the ending will be satisfying, and by that I mean the whole end sequence. The 7 vs the 13.

Depends. If there's nothing at D23 regarding a release date, I'd say Q3/4, but I'm hoping it's more in the Q2/3 range. Not sure if it'll be worldwide since it's a rerelease, but a man can dream.

Yeah, I don't think it legitimately started development until around 2012. Back in 2013 Nomura said they really didn't have much done. I doubt it was much more than concepts back in 2010.

The convoluted ones ARE the deep ones. The only non-convoluted ones I can think of are the Personas. I guess to a degree The Last of Us.

It'll be nice when we finally get the full opening. I'll be watching it even more on repeat if that's possible when that happens. Great lyrics, little to no engrish IMO.
