you're nitpicking the littlest thing of rpgs, seriously that can be said for action games too, just use your best gear and best gun or whatever Yeah, is that for the 3ds? And i wasn't too thrilled to begin with, but square could've pulled it off, they're simply playing it safe and it's sad. People could finally bring that stigma of rpgs are too boring to turn that around.

Very strange source, never heard of that site, heard of games radar though. could've said it at e3 directly instead of this bullshit Oh okay Turned based rpgs are dead in your eyes? They should only belong on handhelds?

Just want Final Fantasy 9 man...it was magical, a true masterpiece. I want to feel the magic again, with Hironobu Sakaguchi one last time. Please... T___T Persona 5 would like a word with you, besides a Traditional rpg is not lazy, they could go all out with animations and mini games.

I may be in the minority but this could've been a cool thing to have a turned based rpg on a console, finally bringing these kind of rpgs back to a big crowd would've been great of square, that was until it ruined my hopes and stepped on it, and smirked as it did just that. I hate the big new crowd who don't give the original system a chance, especially when people these days have a attention span of a child. Before anyone says it SUPPOSE TO BE A RE IMAGINING OF FF7, NO NO NO. It was never stated that this was the case and no one before used this term for A REMAKE. everything doesn't have to same but the core should be intact, it seriously feels like i'm looking at ffxv, though i'll probably buy this before that game. To those who enjoy kh don't bring that type of gameplay in Final Fantasy. seriously they could have just done a field system like tales of series and combat something like xenoblade. Oh well, i guess i'll have people just tell me, just let square screw you in bum, while us new fans enjoy this so called masterpiece. Someday FF9 will get a remake and it will be what I want. And oh please feel free to reply, i dunno how others on here have taken the news, I have only discussed it with Merilly to be honest.

I think the worst thing to come is P3 might get the same treatment, Altus did state something like that back on the P4D Japanese release.

it depends how well both English and Japanese voices perform, for example I dislike the persona 4 Japanese voices, while i enjoy most tales games in English due to the fact that in japanese voices in tales gets degrading after they announce their attacks very loudly in japanese. it matters on performance and writing that voice actors work with.
