During the new Active Time Report (ATR) that was shown off at PAX Prime 2015, a few development updates were shared in regards to Final Fantasy XV. The developers outline these specific gameplay aspects in the video and i will attempt to list them all here in this thread for everyone to see. Lets get started. More waiting i guess. I won't be surprised when they announce the release date is Winter 2016. So disappointing; here i thought they were making progress with all of the press releases and the demo but then they do this and walk back 10 steps. I seriously hope they don't mess up this hard with KH3's release plans

I don't think he's gonna be in. If you look at all of the FF characters in KH they are all from the numbered titles. Type-0 is a spinoff so its highly unlikely that ace will appear as a new FF character. If i were a betting man i'd say either lightning from FFXIII or Noctis from FFXV are going to be featured as new FF characters in addition to the ones we've already seen

Like people have said the dates right now are placeholders until the actual release date is announced. If you pre-order on amazon/bestbuy before a release date is announced, they will have your pre-order in the system and will ship the game to you once it comes out. They also send you an email giving you an update if a release date is announced

No, not satisfied at all. Nomura said at E3 that there were alot more assets he was gonna show at D23 and all we get is a Big Hero 6 world . Im not expecting to see progress until E3 2016

I didn't expect that much to be shown anyways unlike most people on YouTube who thought that Square was gonna give us a release date lol. Don't expect anything gameplay wise or significant to be shown until E3 2016. D23 Japan will probably unveil Frozen as a world and thats it

I at least expected a short story trailer but i guess this was ok for D23. I guess we wont be seeing anything significant until E3 2016 or maybe even TGS this year

Here's what i think will be revealed at tomorrow's gaming focused presentation at D23: 1. Star Wars Battlefront will get more multiplayer gameplay trailers and a Beta announcement. A beta is pretty much guaranteed since every DICE created game dating back to Battlefield Bad Company 2 has gotten a Beta. The Beta will most likely be on PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will start next month and run for about a week 2. Kingdom Hearts III will get a story trailer showing off the newly recorded voices for most main characters in addition to the main premise surrounding KH3's story. Riku's new character design will also be shown in addition to Donald+Goofy if they are getting one. KH3's version of Dearly Beloved will most likely also be shown in addition to Hikaru Utada's new song for the game as well. Gameplay elements will probably be shown off as well although not in too much detail (they'll probably save this for E3 2016). NO RELEASE DATE WILL BE GIVEN. Feel free to add your predictions to this thread

i agree. Since FFXV is getting a worldwide release KH3 will most likely follow suit

there might not be anything KH related coming out in 2016 then. The only other possible thing is a DDD Remaster for PS4/XB1 but this hasn't been announced yet

None of the new voice assets have been shown off yet. What you heard at E3 was recycled lines from DDD for trailer purposes. We will most likely hear the new voices at D23 on August 16th

I honestly do not believe that KH3 will release in 2016 and here's why: FFXV is already confirmed to be releasing sometime in 2016 according to Director Hajime Tabata. A precise release date will be given at PAX later this year. Based on this information alone, Square Enix would never release BOTH of their most anticipated titles from their respective franchises (FFXV and KH3) within the same year. Square Enix is a business and businesses exist to make profit. Square Enix needs to make a profit each fiscal year and for 2016 their main profit will come from FFXV and the Final Fantasy franchise. Kingdom Hearts III will most likely release the following year in 2017 as it will be the main profit maker for Square Enix for fiscal year 2017. Now if we REALLY wanna speculate release dates, the FF7 remake will probably release sometime in 2018 as it will be the main profit maker for Square Enix in fiscal year 2018. You see where i am going here? Square Enix needs to spread out their releases to make profit each year

Nomura said that they will show off assets that they did not get to show off at E3 so most likely new worlds, new character models, new keyblades, and new story elements. I expect a 5 minute trailer showcasing all of these things and more "surprise" announcements
