I have been thinking lately about Kairi's role in KH3 and so far I have been trying to set all the puzzles together and now I think I actually have come up with an likely suggestion. Ever since Kairi was living peacefully in Radiant Garden there was one day when she was attacked by the darkness trying to harm her but a miracle happened and a young woman named Aqua came to her rescue. Kairi full of light saw Aqua as someone she could trust and gave her flowers she had picked in the garden. Before Kairi left to go with her grandma Aqua put a magic spell on Kairi's necklace that whenever darkness would attack her she would find a light to keep her safe( sending her to the Destiny Islands). All this time Kairi haven't rumored Aqua but for sure Kairi does remember Aqua in her heart. Kairi doesn't know that Aqua is trapped in the Realm Of Darkness but her heart must sense that Aqua is in need of help. Im pretty sure that at the end of DDD when Kairi shows up at Yen Sid we see a very serious version of Kairi looking up like she's ready to do something to save someone which I predict is Aqua she's thinking of. The strong connection Kairi have with Aqua is that she's been having since she was four is her necklace she have never taken it off and been wearing it the whole series. I think Kairi will be the one to save Aqua from the Realm Of Darkness it all makes sense now they been sharing their connection through the necklace and having Kairi save Aqua will have a strong and emotional moment. Aqua once saved Kairi and now it's time for repayment Kairi knows what she has to do she will save Aqua from the Realm Of Darkness.

agreed they should have kept their original idea of 3D leading to KH3 that would have been the best but right now people are asking when KH3 will be released that I can't even have an guess for anymore (Thank you very much Nomura)

I was so sure at the beginning that 3D would be the game to lead to KH3 but right now it seem like Nomura wants to add characters from X when we already have Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Aqua, Roxas, Terra, Xion, Namine, Axel/Lea, and Mickey Donald goofy so why bring in more I don't feel so comfortable with the new X characters as a finale but more as a follow up after KH3. I hope Nomura won't make a huge twist with this

Well recently in an interview with Nomura he discussed that he would want to release Birth By Sleep volume 2 the game that never happened about Aqua in the realm of darkness. And he says that X will be important to KH3 but in what way will X be important to KH3 since they said that the game that would lead up to KH3 would be 3D. Im just confused to the fact that it seem like Nomura wants to expand other KH titles which gives me the feeling KH3 will be delayed because of these other titles

Wait if KH3D receives an HD remake doesn't that mean that KH3 would be delayed. Sure Nomura said that they would release a KH game each year but if it's going to delay KH3 I would rather have a KH3 in 2016 or later and let 2015 be the year about information for KH3. This gives me the feeling that 2015 will focus in that case only on 3D just like 2.5 and I don't want that. Next year is going to have a lot of events like E3, SDCC, D23 expo, TGS and Jump Festa and that would be the great opportunity for KH3 to shine.
