  1. Bruh, have you played Colors or Generations? Both games are pretty great and came out after all the games you mentioned. Yes, Sonic Boom sucked, but that wasn't Sonic Team (and I've never played Lost World so I can't comment). Sonic Mania at least looks like a cool throwback game and Sonic 2017 has a good pedigree behind it. Sonic ain't dead. Also side note, I personally don't want CoD to die out at all. I don't want any game franchise to ever die out, I want there to be as many games as possible for gamers to play and devs to enjoy working on. I wish CoD were better, sure, but I don't want it gone. Why would someone be so selfish and petty to wish games would stop being made entirely?
  2. TRY TO REACH INSIDE OF ME TRY TO TAKE MY ENERGY LET ME SHOW YOU JUST WHAT I'M MADE OF
  3. THE TRUE SONIC 4 IS REVEALED Looks fantastic. The sprite work and music are super on point, and it really does look like they got what made the classic games so good. Can't wait to see more of this.
  4. God, I hope this is going to be another Generations. That'd be absolutely great. Although I am a bit worried about darker tone this trailer has. One of the reasons Colors and Generations were so good was because they were light-hearted and silly, like a Saturday morning cartoon; making it all serious and dark is too close to Sonic 06 for my tastes. Though this is just the initial trailer, so maybe the game's totally different! Looking forward to more info either way. Agreed, especially if they can fix Silver like they fixed Crisis City.
  5. I just recently tried playing the first two Infamous games and holy shit, I cannot get used to how those play. It's that weird meshing of superhero free-roaming, platforming and third person that can be hard to balance well and I don't think Sucker Punch did any of them particularly well. Crackdown, Prototype and Saint's Row IV all nailed it a lot better I think. Also, for the longest time I could not get into Metal Gear because I refused to play them out of order- problem is I firetrucking hate the first Metal Gear Solid and I could never bring myself to plow through it, so like a year and a half ago I said screw it and bought the HD collection with 2, 3 and Peacewalker and immediately got way more interested.
  6. Really? Because all I've seen are a couple people who don't usually play Telltale games saying that it might be weird for them. No one's hating on anything here. Or did you mean for the Youtube video? Because yes, that's what Youtube is.
  7. I meant "bad" as in "not nearly as lacking in gameplay as visual novels". Telltale games have a reputation for being interactive movies, and in some ways that's true, but there's also a lot of gameplay. Just trying to makes things clear is all.
  8. They're not that bad; there's still a lot of adventure game style point-and-click puzzle solving in the games, there's just also a huge focus on characters and storytelling. It's not for everybody, and Telltale tends to exaggerate the whole "Your choices matter!" thing, but I've never played a Telltale game that wasn't an enjoyable story experience. The Batman one is going to be $25 for all five episodes on Steam (and I assume for every other platform too). I'm pretty sure that's the standard starting price for a full season of any Telltale game, not counting sales and such.
  9. Anyone here excited for this? The trailer doesn't really make the game seem much different than the usual Batman fare, though it does seem a lot less grimdark than the Arkham games, which is refreshing. Plus the fact that it's going to be at least somewhat about Harvey Dent and (presumably) him becoming Two-Face makes me giddy. Telltale pretty much always has great writing in their games and if they can channel some Long Halloween into this, I'll be more than a little happy.
  10. I mean, he is, but I like to think Batman talks to Damien the same way this guy talks to his kids.
  11. I did years ago, and I hated it. The whole isometric perspective just drives me insane and the pixel art and GBA music don't hold my interest like they do for a lot of other people. I'll prefer 3D level design and orchestral music (even if it is synthesized) any day. For me, Re:CoM completely outclasses CoM in every way, gameplay, music and graphics- even on PS2, Re:CoM was probably the best looking KH game just due to how smooth everything looked and ran.
  12. I'm glad someone else remembered Sam & Max- easily some of my favorite games. The Devil's Playhouse especially is such a perfect adventure game, but I just love 'em all.
  13. Watermelon. Most anything else I can get any time of the year, but watermelon is cheapest and tastiest in the summer time.
  14. Oh my god, YEEEEEESSSS. This was favorite part of E3 by a long shot. Insomniac has such a good pedigree and I'm totally confident they'll make this game fantastic. You took the words right out of my mouth in the video, I agree completely. plus that new costume mmmmm so good
  15. Pretty much the first four options. The story doesn't really interest me at all (I've got no love for Aqua and the whole prologue is just gonna be a huge cocktease for KH3 anyway) but brand new content with great art design, new gameplay abilities, a new locale, improved enemy AI? December can't come soon enough.
  16. Up addresses heavy concepts like the loss of loved ones, overcoming grief, and the dangers of obsession in such a kid friendly way without sacrificing quality or integrity that I still can't believe it was done so well. No other Pixar movie has achieved that for me yet. (Also, personal pet peeve, but Up is the only one that's kind of borderline realistic; there's no magically living children's toys or super humans living suburban lives or anthropomorphic fish that humans for some reason don't notice are super intelligent. I tend to poke holes in movies all the time, and with Up I find it pretty hard to do that.)
  17. Nothing at E3 is better than Spiderman game made by Insomniac, and anyone that says differently is a damn dirty liar.
  18. To be fair, if you bought a Nintendo console expecting great third party support, you may have had unrealistic expectations. Nintendo always puts way more emphasis on their own properties; that's the price for quality Nintendo games.
  19. Well you can't quite rule out that Captain Hydra won't lead to cool things too. (Besides, the odds of this Cap just being a skrull, or an LMD, or some other bullshit escape hatch is insanely high.)
  20. Spider-Man: One More Day says hello. No but really this is why mainstream Western comics suck. They have to constantly try to top themselves with more and more unbelievable and ridiculous twists to desperately try not to be stale, not to mention Marvel has to find some way to compete with the success of the movies. Causing dumb controversy is a good way to get people reading.
  21. StarCraft by a long shot. Was the first PC game I ever got my hands on, and I played the shit out of it back in the day (and by "play" I mean activated every cheat code at once and just wreaked havoc through the campaign). Lotsa good memories with that.
