Because a) it's a popular movie, and arguably the best Pixar movie, and b) there were character models for Buzz and Woody in BBS' game files, so SE clearly seriously considered including them at one point, if only as summons.

I mean... it's a joke. It's literally a PR stunt on Twitter. Anyone dumb enough to try to actually use it as a sick note probably can't actually read. Worth noting not everyone gets weekends off. I have the kind of job where more often than not I'm working Saturday or Sunday, often both. I guess if you're still in school then it's easier on you that way, but for a lot of people a Friday release date is no better.

There's no room in a person's life for both amiibo and regret. It's one or the other. You made the right choice.

I don't so much desire a return to past games as I do for them to quit trying to reinvent the wheel constantly. They couldn't just work up from the Generations model and add new feature, tweak old ones, maybe add new characters, etc.- no, they had to come up with a whole new concept of tube shaped levels and free-running and firetrucking motion controls. There's no need for it. The classic games (Sonic 1-3, Knuckles, even CD to an extent) were good and respected because they worked off a solid base, Sonic the Hedgehog, and kept subtly adding to and altering the formula- spin dash, multiple characters with slight variations on Sonic, new bonus stages, etc. The formula stayed pretty much the same, just tweaked a little bit here and there to improve it. That's what sequels are supposed to do, improve on what was good to start with. It's what virtually every Mario game does, which is why they're so successful, and it's what Sega almost never does with Sonic anymore. Hopefully Sega will pick up on that and the next Sonic game will be actually good again.

Absolutely agreed. Generations had pretty much the perfect engine for a 3D Sonic game. They need to stop experimenting with new stuff (Lost World) and handing off the license to other companies who can't make a video game (Boom) and focus on what's been proven to work great, expanding from there, just like the Genesis days.

Nah. I just saw Big Hero 6, and though it was good, I don;t have much desire to see it again any time soon. Maybe in the next few years before KH3 comes out, though. And absolutely not for Tangled. firetruckin' hated that movie.

So Nomura and the team rewrite the story. Maybe not make it some ridiculous time travelling dream bullshit. That sounds like a dream come true to me. (If it's not clear, I'm not a fan on DDD's story at all, so totally revamping it would be great to me.)

To be fair, Sora has seen visions of Roxas when he was awake too, so it's not like that was the first time. Also he doesn't know who like anyone else is, so maybe he thought they were part of the dream. I dunno, Sora's dumb. It's still unfair to blame him for what Yen Sid admitted was his own fault.

I wouldn't say Sora screwed up. I would say that he was screwed over by Yen Sid being dumb and MX being a cheater, but that's not the same thing. As for Dream Eaters, they just add way more grinding that I'm comfortable with in a action game. You need to grind items to craft new Dream Eaters, then level grind them up to unlock useful support abilities, then if you want different Dream Eaters, you have to grind even more items and them grind those new ones up to get useful abilities because they can;t be permanently applied like in every other KH game, and then repeat that like two dozen times if you want to unlock everything. It's kind of an unbelievable hassle. Why would that not be a good thing?

People are saying that it wouldn't make sense for them to be there because of story, but you guys do know the story isn't set in stone, right? They could have written t so that they don't have to take the MoM alone. Same from a game design aspect; it could have been designed differently so Dream Eaters weren't as necessary or even not included at all. Both writing and game design are fluid things, almost nothing is definite from the start. Also, Sora's whole character (especially in DDD) is based on the idea that the connections you make with other people are important- no matter how weak you are alone, your friends and loved ones make you strong. And then he spends the majority of DDD alone. That's more of a story oversight than better additional companions, I'd say.

Makes perfect sense to me. If fans really want usually Japan-only titles officially localized, they're gonna have to pay. It's business, baby.

Yeah, I think they mentioned more environmental effects like that for KH3 back at E3. Moving grass, ice trails, hopefully dynamic shadows, stuff like that. Little details but really cool nonetheless.

I'd want to try an Estus Flask from Dark Souls. I looks like some sort of magical combo of orange juice and honey, which sounds delicious (plus it's unlimited- all I have to do is sit down next to a fire and I get a free refill).
